   Our dinner at 56 Tavern last night was really enjoyable! We were seated at a 2 person hightop table towards the back of the restaurant so it overlooked the dining area, which was great for people watching (always interesting) The restaurant totally has that Ralph Lauren/Tavern look which is really cozy and inviting. The staff were all super friendly and personable; the hostess even went out of her way to come to our table to thank us for calling to let her know we were running late for our reservation that evening and to let us know how helpful she found it. It's not often you get a thanks for common courtesy. We started with salads, which were both really tasty and substantial in size; my husband had the Caesar salad and I had the Autumn Harvest. As a salad lover, I was very pleased to see quite a few salads on the menu because I definitely plan on making 56 Tavern a regular place to go and like to try out new dishes. There were a number of meals on the menu vying for my attention so it made my decision difficult, obviously a good thing! My husband was thrilled that there was prime rib on the menu, which isn’t something we can often find and he felt that the seasoning and preparation was perfect. He couldn’t have been happier with his meal. I was torn between the 1927 burger and the salmon, both sounded exceptional; I decided to go for the healthier pick so the salmon won. I couldn’t have been more pleased, it was fresh and cooked perfectly. We ended our meal by splitting the caramel apple cheesecake and both agreed that it was exceptional. The restaurant was completely packed, as was the bar, and there was also an event going on in a back room so you would think that the service and /or food might suffer with all that was going on but neither did at all. I highly recommend the 56 Tavern for date night or gathering with friends, you won’t be disappointed!!

   First time here with friends. Super impressed with the renovation of the space and food. Highly recommend and we will definitely return!

   Our first visit at this location. We did have a 20 minute wait beyond out reservation but the staff was very nice about it. They could use some seating in the lobby for those who might wait a bit. Our server was very attentive and followed our request although needed to be reminded to bring one guest ice. She seemed busy with a number of tables. Our dinners were very good, generous in size and did not disappoint. My onion soup was outstanding and the pewter mug salad huge and tasty. Drink refills were automatic for non alcoholic beverages. We certainly will return to try different items on the menu. Thanks for opening in this location. Wishing you well!

   We have dined at the restaurant on a regular basis since 56 Tavern opened. We have been very happy with the quality of our meals. We ordered salmon with a side salad and the prime rib specia l with mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was prepared perfectly. The prime rib was delicious as were the mashed potatoes. The green beans were crispy, not overcooked. The salmon and roasted potatoes were delicious. Service was very good as usual.

   Our Easter dining experience was AMAZING! The food was excellent as was the service! The whole process of making the reservation, payment, and receiving the confirmation was very simple too. We will definitely be doing this again… hopefully for Mother’s Day!

   We had Dakota as our server on the patio and he was extremely attentive and caring about our dining experience. Multiple people checked on us during our stay to make sure things were tasting well and we had everything we needed. We ordered the goat cheese flatbread, brussel sprouts, cauliflower w/tai sauce and crab cakes. All the apps came out and hot and had excellent flavor and I would order all of them again! Delectable!!!! For drinks we had the pear martini, cosmo, and gin martini and they were delicious! The price point was perfect for happy hour! Thanks 56Kitchen for a relaxing and enjoyable Friday night.

   Good food except for the French onion soup my friend ordered. It was cold, everything else was very good. Service was very good too.

    Lexi is the best! We had her as our server twice and she’s personable and attentive and helps make the experience fun! Food is good, with some meals better than others. Atmosphere is great, not too loud but with enough action to feel lively.
