We made a last minute reservation for Father’s Day and was able to get a table. The service and the food was fantastic! Such a quaint little place that I believe gets overlooked! We all really enjoyed it!

Went for our anniversary, service was outstanding, food arrived quickly. Had the jambalaya and crab cakes, both were sensational. Will definitely go back.

2 hours no food. Took 10 minutes for the manager to make it over. No explanation for the delay. Won’t be back.

We booked a Mother’s Day brunch for seven. This is our second visit to the restaurant, and the first time we had slow service, but overall a good meal and experience. We were seated at 11:15. Our food came out at 12:15. Eggs, bacon, grits-a very limited menu. We ordered a cup of soup and the wrong soup was served, only to learn they actually didn’t even have the other soup- wouldn’t you let customers know that immediately after ordering?! We were clearly disgruntled and told “We’ll remove the soup from the bill.” Oh, how kind of you, considering we neither ordered it nor ate it. Unless you have 90 minutes for a meal, don’t bother going here. Cute place, but severely understaffed, under-prepared, and not super friendly.

Mid level. Salad good. Salmon good if cooked up to the line of over. Jumbalaya way over priced- like a rice porridge with a bit of sausage. Steak, OK. I think they are better than the previous owner, but it is not a slam dunk. It seems like it’s trying to be the off Kirkwood version of Uptown, but doesn’t quite reach it. New decor very good, real cocktail- good mixologist. I think a few adjustments as they settle in and I give them good odds to improve into a contender. In a personal note - it would be great if there were a gluten free version of the cornbread ( not that hard to do) and a gluten free bun for sandwiches- Uptown, Bru Burger, Upland - all have these and they are all on my list ahead of 55 Southern at the moment.

Felt Manager “rushed” our anniversary experience attempting to close early. Food arrived quickly BUT “off temperature”. Crew started cleaning up floor and stacking chairs at table proximate to us. NOT a great anniversary dinner experience. 😔

First time back under new ownership. Very much improved. Food came out hot, well cooked and nice presentation. Thank you Lucas for taking care of us.

Lucas was our server and he was very helpful guiding us through the cocktails / specials. We settled on the fried green tomatoes and the sweet gem salad for starters and the St. Patrick’s Day Appletini / Pot O’ Gold for the cocktail selection. Both my wife and I decided to go with the surf options landing on the Mahi and the Sea Bass, which were outstanding. Will be looking forward to coming back to dine again, hopefully soon with friends. Highly recommend!

Food was awesome!! Service was great, we sat at the bar. It was fun watching the bartenders make drinks all night. The atmosphere was beautiful, we will def be back!
