The ambiance was beautiful. The food was wonderdul.
I was interested in trying out 51fifteen ever since it arrived at the galleria and finally decided to try it during Houston's restaurant week.
The hostess told my date to remove his hat; though it was a dress hat. Yet shorts, sneakers, jeans and half dressed guest were allowed, hmmm...doesn't make sense to me.
The chicken and waffles we ordered were HORRIBLE!!
Both me and my date had to send our food back because the waffles tasted like they had been saturated in orange and were half raw. The fried chicken had a sour smell and was soggy from being cooked in old grease.
The manager offered us another menu option, but to be honest...should have just comped the meal.
Glad I visited when I did because I saved myself a much bigger check.
Food was subpar, not worth another visit in my opinion.

The food was terrible. The beet salad was really a romaine salad with a few spiralized raw beets on top, the lobster bisque was too fishy no one at the table ate it, the salmon with pasta had a few small bites of salmon (not the usual fillet at all the other restaurants), the sirloin steak slices were was too salty and all the desserts were very disappointing. There was not one dish that was good.
Very disappointed! Very limited wine menu, although the wines were popular and acceptable. We were here for my daughter's birthday and came on a recommendation. My son and I ordered off the restaurant week menu. We started with the Lobster Bisque. It tasted like Campbell's soup sans lobster. They stated they were out of the Porterhouse, but would substitute a Ribeye. When the steak arrived, it was a strip. I brought this to the waiters attention and he offered to replace it with the ribeye. Not wanting to waste food, I politely accepted the steak. The strip was not marbled or flavorful. The cut was was not with the grain, but diagonal. This made the steak very tough. It was cooked to the correct medium rare temperature. I ate what I could stomach and left the rest for my dogs. The desserts did not appear house made and were okay at best. The coffee was good and the servers were prompt and attentive. The two star reviews were for the food. It was bland and not of the quality I expect in a upscale restaurant. I will not be back.
Had the 16 oz Ribeye with Lobster Mac and Cheese. The service was phenomenal and the meal was just as good. I later heard that my guests were very impressed with the whole experience as well.
Live piano player in bright beautiful bar area from noon to two. Ask for your favorite type of music!
Food was great. Our waiter was not attentive and was rushing us. They charge my cc twice, I'm waiting on the manager to call me back.
The food was terrible honestly and not worth 200 bucks. I will def. not be back.
51Fifteen is one of my favorates. It is a great place for a business lunch.

I went here for my birthday dinner and to participate in Houston Restaurant Week. It's a beutiful restaurant. I did not love the lobster bisque, but the Porterhouse was outstanding. Hostess and wait staff were amazing!
The lobster bisque taste like tomato basil soup! If this is a cup of tomato basil soup I shouldn’t have any complaint!
The soups were amazing, but the steak and dessert were just OK. I’m glad we went for restaurant week because I’d be disappointed paying full price for the food. The decor is amazing, though!
Great vibes and brunch selections. Staff was very courtesy and food came out very quickly within a full crowd.

The staff was wonderful, but the food was not... We went for Houston Restaurant Week and I'm not sure if that was the issue, but the food was very mediocre. The "avocado" toast had two tiny dollops of what appeared to be grocery store deli case guacamole, but no real avocado at all. The egg on top of the short rib potato cakes was cold and somehow overcooked but still slimy. Tiny mimosas were a whopping $11 each. I could go on, but those were the most disappointing features of what we were served.
We celebrated a birthday there and indicated so, but it didn’t seem to register with them. In any case, food portions were small, ambience more like a converted store showroom (which it was, as part of Saks) and not cozy. Service was very good but it is not what we were expecting...
Went for HRW lunch and the value of the food for the deal was perfect. Thank you!
I am so Happy that we now have a "Fig n Olive" in our neighborhood !!!! Yaaasssss !!!! Loved it, our first visit. We will definitely return. great for any occasion. Food was very good. The complimentary Bread and and Olive Oils were delicious. We started with 2 signature Cocktails (very well mixed)....We ordered Crostinis (3 variety) the Massachusetts Oysters on the half shell.....The Scottish Salmon Crudo.....The Short Rib..... & dessert...The Mini Pot De Creme....Oh My !!!!! We shared all the above and it was Excellent !!!!! I can't wait to go back !!!!! FRANCISCO was our server and did a EXCELLENT job, Thank you !
Lunch at 5115 was wonderful. My daughter and I were having a day together and this was our choice from the list of Houston Restaurant Week choices. The food was yummy and the drinks were cold and delightful.
We always enjoy trying new places during HRW, so although the Galleria isn’t our regular stomping grounds, we decided to try out 51 Fifteen. The service was present, but not obtrusive. We were really able to relax in good food and conversation.
Food is average. Over priced. You will be disappointed. Go across the street to Masraff's. Not measuring price/performance but at least don't make the customer feel like they got short changed.
It taste like the vacuumed sealed frozen steak I get at Waffle House. Oh ! The steak sauce is good call. Almost covered the sour taste in the meat.

The food was really good. However, our server wasn’t the best. Slow and not very attentive.
We had a reservation for 1:00 PM and was not seated till 1:22 PM. The waiter was not flexible on certain menu selection (has a frown look in his face). The food was mediocre for a Sunday brunch. The restaurant was loud., everyone was talking so loud just to be heard.
I recently went here for Houston Restaurant week. The food was good but not outstanding. I had the pork rib and potato cakes for breakfast and my fiancé had the avocado toast with salmon both solid but not exceptional.
We took advantage of HRW to try 51Fifteen for Sunday Brunch. We all ordered off of the HRW brunch menu and we all enjoyed our meals. Definitely a value at $20 for a three course meal, but I will definitely go back after HRW. Good portion sizes, flavor was on point, and dishes were presented beautifully. Our server was attentive, professional, and personable. Overall excellent experience!
I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.
I found that the shrimp risotto was excellent and my friend enjoyed the ahi tuna salad. The crème brûlée was authentic and not too sweet.
Flavorful full, nice presentation, large portion servings,, good service, nice decor. Probably over priced though.
food was outstanding as always. I accidentally spilled my cocktail and it was taken care of immediately. appeared as though it never happened. Music was nice and relaxing. My daughter and i love this place and will definitely return.
Went here for father’s day brunch and the food was phenomenal. The short rib egg Benedict was the best, followed by the huevo ranchero steak and eggs.
Since they changed the menu, from the hot muffin to the brunch menu this place has not been the same. Great atmosphere bad food. I don’t know what happened we were so loyal to this place.

The location has beautiful decor and the hostesses were very pleasant but my waiter always seemed distracted and forgot several parts of our order. Food was just okay we have had better in the area

We just wanted a quiet place for a family Sunday Brunch. Couldn't have picked a better location. Food and service were superb, great value and the live music (piano) was perfect.
All in all, a very enjoyable occasion. We will be back.

Excellent service, outstanding food
I’ve had Lunch at 51Fifteen quite a few times now. Everything about this restaurant is above the standard par. From the Piano Player to the Friendly Staff, this place is beyond inviting. Today, I had the pleasure of having the Bartender Santos make my cocktails and they were very delightful. I started out with their Pear Martini and then ended with a side car. For lunch I had a piping hot bowl of Lobster Bisque Soup to Start. Then I had the Red Snapper with Risotto. Everything was outstanding. I truly enjoy coming to lunch her. I would recommend this place to anyone who has never tried it.
