Ambience was great. Food was perfect! One of my fave restaurants for sure
The location has beautiful decor and the hostesses were very pleasant but my waiter always seemed distracted and forgot several parts of our order. Food was just okay we have had better in the area
We just wanted a quiet place for a family Sunday Brunch. Couldn't have picked a better location. Food and service were superb, great value and the live music (piano) was perfect.
All in all, a very enjoyable occasion. We will be back.
Every was wonderful!!!
Excellent service, outstanding food
I’ve had Lunch at 51Fifteen quite a few times now. Everything about this restaurant is above the standard par. From the Piano Player to the Friendly Staff, this place is beyond inviting. Today, I had the pleasure of having the Bartender Santos make my cocktails and they were very delightful. I started out with their Pear Martini and then ended with a side car. For lunch I had a piping hot bowl of Lobster Bisque Soup to Start. Then I had the Red Snapper with Risotto. Everything was outstanding. I truly enjoy coming to lunch her. I would recommend this place to anyone who has never tried it.
Not a good selection of food or desserts. Be to better restaurants for Easter and had a larger selection of foods for less.
We attended for Easter Brunch. While the food is good, the presentation, the service, the variety, and the overall atmosphere was disappointing. This is advertised as one of the best restaurants in Houston but based on our experience it misses the mark.
The buffet was not all of the advertised items. The carving station is the absolute worst meats I have ever tasted. The beef was not chewable. The Eggs Benedict consisted of a poached egg with a less than impressive hollandaise sauce. The eggs were not on English muffins with Canadian bacon. Those items were not even available. I shall not eat there again, nor could I recommend the restaurant.
The buffet meal was not great. I would have preferred to order from the menu.
I took my family for Easter brunch to relax and have what I thought was a great buffet in an elegant environment. What I got instead was a seat in an overflow area with no view or ambiance. Later, when I got the check I was dumbfounded by the exorbitant costed that meal. I wound up with tab of almost $300 for my wife and I and our two children for what was at bed a mediocre meal.
I later found out that where they make most of their money is on beverages (alcoholic and nonalcoholic). This is the first time I’ve been to a buffet where even soft drinks are charged at a premium.
This place is a ripoff and I will never go back again. If you are reading this post don’t try this place unless you want to be ripped off. Terrible experience!
Dined there for Easter brunch. Service was good but buffet selection wasn’t particularly extensive and they were still setting up when we arrived even though they should have been well underway and certain items didn’t keep up with diners, running out often.
Great food, great service but a horrible experience. I made a reservation, called to confirm and stopped by earlier in the day and nobody every mentioned that they were renting out the restaurant for a private party at a similar time to disrupt my dinner event. Could have been a great night but left shaking my head w a bad experience.
It was very pleasant. We were eating with our grand child. The waiter did great to accomodate us. Service was a liitle bit slow if you have a toddler who is very hungry
Overpriced. Terrible menu. My salad was so bad the waiter brought me a new one even though I told him I didn't want one. I miss the old 5115. Bring it back.
The food definitely was not up to par. Lobster Mac and cheese had 2 bite size pieces of lobster. The braised short ribs were very dry. Food was not up to standard for the high end establishment.
Amazing place to relax and have a good time. Great vibes and there is zero noise level.
The overall experience was horrible. It was a beautiful restaurant with a great piano player, but it stopped there. The drinks are expensive, but mediocre at best. The menu selection was limited and although the menu said a number of things were provided in each meal the plate did not reflect the menu. Portion sizes are very small. Also, we had a party of 10, but the restuarant would not split the check. They made us stay there for an extra hour splitting the check manually so we could pay with separate checks. Then they offered a free desert for my birthday. I said cheesecake, they brought me chocolate cake. We made the best of it with our $500 tab. I ate half my food and took the rest to go, but kept smelling this awful smell. I figured out the food was spoiled when I got home a became sick to my stomach.
Never again. Since we are frequesnt brunchers with a monthly brunch ritual for the ladies, I can honestly say we have much better experiences at Grandlux, Graces, Cheesecake factory, Phil & Derek's , The Address and Lucille's.
They are wasting a beautiful space in the Galleria.
Took my dear friend to brunch for her birthday and we had a wonderful time . Really enjoyed Michaelangelo playing “Happy Birthday” and all the show tunes we requested. We were entertained and deliciously fed. Can’t ask for more.
Excelente Restaurante dentro de la tienda Saks en la Galería.
Se come Muy Bien y el servicio de primera
Vale la pena
I think we caught the restaraunt on an off night. Let’s just leave it there. I would recommend it, but not on a Sunday evening.
Awesome place! Great service. Michelangelo was amazing.
Loved the live show! The band was awesome and we couldn’t stop dancing!
The waiter was great about suggesting dessert options and bringing the dessert in a timely manner. Loved to find two glasses with iced water waiting for us at the table after nonstop dancing!
Best seared tuna salad I’ve had! Wonderful service and atmosphere! We will definitely return!
We waited an hour past our reservation to be seated. Everything was incredibly slow. Food was Wrong bi think they need new management. Go somewhere else.
I took my wife there for Valentine’s, we were seated in the back left of restaurant with about 12 other tables. It took one hour and fifteen minutes to get our food which arrived raw and cold. The waiter and wait staff were running around without any direction bring food to the wrong tables etc. My wife ordered a coke which arrived 30 minutes later after asking 3 different waiters. The food wasn’t even as good as cafeteria food; dry, raw, flavorless and cold. I spent $200.00 and didn’t even have drinks. WHAT A RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!
We had a very lackluster evening at 51fifteen on Valentine’s Day. We walked into a half empty restaurant at 6pm and were offered the worst table in the place - a table for two right next to the kitchen. We asked to move and were only offered a spot two tables over. Then for the next hour we watched other couples be offered bigger, better tables.
Our server was nice but kept forgetting parts of our order. The food was fine. This restaurant is definitely overstated and rated. Nothing made us want to visit again. Thankfully in a foodie town like Houston, we have lots of other options.
Was expecting higher quality meal. Appetizers and salads were up to par but entrees fell short. Service was good and like the new decor
Interesting location as you need to walk through Sak’s to get there . When leaving, the mall was closed and had a hard time finding someone to let us out of locked doors to the parking garage.
The burrata was the best thing we had all night and came with tomatoes. The base salads were fine and nothing special.
The beer list is awful with nothing of any interest beyond macro beers.
The snapper was ok and the scallops were good but a bit over seasoned.
Everything was great except they ran out of shrimp the night before, which affected several dishes, particularly on the special Valentine menu
This is a beautiful restaurant. I've enjoyed it many times during the lunch hour entertaining clients or simply being with friends. The food/service is always good. The high point, is the fabulous pianist, which adds so much to the experience. Feeling confident, I made reservations for an evening birthday celebration. After so many accolades, my guests were really looking forward to the event. Approaching the entrance, the sound of a steel drum band playing calypso music was deafening. A group ahead of us declined their reservation. Then, the host had to ask me 3 times to repeat the name on the reservation. He then suggested a table as far away from the music as could be found. Not possible. The music was completely out of context for this elegant restaurant. Seated, we ordered drinks but hurriedly asked for the check. There was never a gesture, or even an appearance, from the management as to an apology or even a wish for a return visit. Gives the sense that a happy guest is not important.
Awesome 👍 great place & awesome time @ galleria
👍great location, good food
This was my second visit at 51fifteen and both experiences were great. Great food and great services! I will be back again and would recommend it to others as well.
Very nice! Good food. The snapper & asparagus risotto was delicious. Steak ok. Pork chops good. Shrimp appetizer could be spicier. Great service.
Great for girl’s lunch
Ruth our sever was exceptional and provide top not service.
I booked 51fifteen for a birthday party for my nephew. He and his friends LOVED the bacon wrapped shrimp! The portions for the appetizers are actually family size so there was plenty food to go around. They got the stuffed chicken as the entree and it was flavorful. The service was excellent and the decor is gorgeous.
We were spoiled for our 20th anniversary lunch! The food, drinks, service, seating was FANTASTIC! Live piano music!
Simply love this restaurant for brunch. Great selections. The lobster bisque was delicious with abundant lobster meat. Wedge salad very fresh. Double cut marinated pork chop was equally good.
Of course, there is the great shopping after.
