Incredible! Our server Omar was very knowledgeable and made nothing but the best suggestions on what to try from the menu. From appetizers to main course and sides the entire experience is well worth it. The lighting inside is perfect and the noise level is not an issue at all. Me and my wife were able to hear each other clearly and the server as well. The Old Fashioned cocktail was so good me and my wife ordered 6! Lol. But remember always drink responsibly we know our limits so know yours. The staff also at me and my wife's request took photos of us in front of the wine wall which turned out perfect. I would post but the pixels are too large. Lol. Even the valet was courteous and made sure to guide us with precise instruction on how to get to the restaurant, which is by way of elevator on the left as soon as you enter. 51fifteen is highly recommended in my honest opinion. If you choose to go I recommend putting in your reservation first which saves you time and is more professional for an upscale experience. You will be seated immediately I guarantee. 5 Stars from me!! Kudos 51fifteen!!!! I will return. Lol
We’re celebrating Valentine’s Day. The atmosphere was amazing. Food and dessert were delicious. The service was excellent. We’ll be back.
The service and food was optimal. The waiter Edgar was the best!
It was delightful! Beautiful atmosphere and the Piano Man was AWESOME! Food and service was very good. Very conducive for business.
Lunch date with my son
Piano was wonderful!!!!! Lovely lovely!!! Great way to start the New Year! Decor was outstanding....cuisine delicious and presentation exceptional.
Great ambiance, good cocktails and the food was delicious!
We were expecting a better live band!!! The music was bad.
Wanted to have a "fancy" NYE dinner with husband and tween daughter, and surprisingly, this restaurant had plenty of availability. We were seated right away for our 8:15 reservation, however service was slow. Waters came to the table after about 15 minutes and this trend continued throughout the night. Restaranut wasn't overly crowded, so we can't use the excuse of holiday hustle and bustle. Husband ordered an Old Fashioned that didn't arrive until after we reminded the server well after the food arrived. It was super watery, so he sent it back to the bar. Ribeye was also sent back because it was super red even though we ordered medium-well and the portion of snapper was pretty small. Average brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes, but poblano bisque was good. The ambiance, live band and amazing Christmas decor is all I can rave about.
We were greeted and seated promptly! The food was excellent. Our server was nice and attentive. He was well versed on the menu and also made suggestions that were spot on. Great B-day experience.
First off the food was delicious. Service was a little slow. Typical of a Houston restaurant, they tell you what they ran out of instead of the specials. Inventory management in this town is the worst I’ve seen.
The duck was very tender and sides were perfectly seasoned. Soups were very tasteful and the creme brûlée was delicious! We will be back to try other menu options and for the duck.
One negative is I put it on the reservation that it was my GF birthday but not one mention of it. Most places will say “Happy Birthday.
The carb meat ravioli was outstanding as was the white bread pudding. The ambiance is lovely--especially at Christmas time. A pianist was playing Christmas tunes. The key lime pie was also a hit. This is a hidden gem of a resteraunt and we are sure to return.
Decent food for a break from shopping, but I wouldn’t go out if my way unless I was at Galleria.
Wonderful location, elegant environment and good food, it’s one of the best place to meet friends. Will use more often.
Enjoyed the food and drinks
I really like it the restaurant. It's in a great location and the wait staff was really nice. It's perfect for date night.
The view is amazing and the food was delicious! I highly recommend!
Had some issues, server and manager did best to resolve, comped one of the entrees...kitchen error.
Gorgeous, elegant surroundings with beautiful piano music (soft) and attentive service. I'd call this place a soothing oasis in a very hectic neighborhood (Galleria) and am looking forward to returning soon.
The ambiance was beautiful. The food was wonderdul.
I was interested in trying out 51fifteen ever since it arrived at the galleria and finally decided to try it during Houston's restaurant week.
The hostess told my date to remove his hat; though it was a dress hat. Yet shorts, sneakers, jeans and half dressed guest were allowed, hmmm...doesn't make sense to me.
The chicken and waffles we ordered were HORRIBLE!!
Both me and my date had to send our food back because the waffles tasted like they had been saturated in orange and were half raw. The fried chicken had a sour smell and was soggy from being cooked in old grease.
The manager offered us another menu option, but to be honest...should have just comped the meal.
Glad I visited when I did because I saved myself a much bigger check.
Food was subpar, not worth another visit in my opinion.
Food selection for restaurant week was excellent. Lovely ambiance.
Great environment ! Great food. Great service .5 stars
The food was terrible. The beet salad was really a romaine salad with a few spiralized raw beets on top, the lobster bisque was too fishy no one at the table ate it, the salmon with pasta had a few small bites of salmon (not the usual fillet at all the other restaurants), the sirloin steak slices were was too salty and all the desserts were very disappointing. There was not one dish that was good.
Very disappointed! Very limited wine menu, although the wines were popular and acceptable. We were here for my daughter's birthday and came on a recommendation. My son and I ordered off the restaurant week menu. We started with the Lobster Bisque. It tasted like Campbell's soup sans lobster. They stated they were out of the Porterhouse, but would substitute a Ribeye. When the steak arrived, it was a strip. I brought this to the waiters attention and he offered to replace it with the ribeye. Not wanting to waste food, I politely accepted the steak. The strip was not marbled or flavorful. The cut was was not with the grain, but diagonal. This made the steak very tough. It was cooked to the correct medium rare temperature. I ate what I could stomach and left the rest for my dogs. The desserts did not appear house made and were okay at best. The coffee was good and the servers were prompt and attentive. The two star reviews were for the food. It was bland and not of the quality I expect in a upscale restaurant. I will not be back.
Had the 16 oz Ribeye with Lobster Mac and Cheese. The service was phenomenal and the meal was just as good. I later heard that my guests were very impressed with the whole experience as well.
Live piano player in bright beautiful bar area from noon to two. Ask for your favorite type of music!
Food was great. Our waiter was not attentive and was rushing us. They charge my cc twice, I'm waiting on the manager to call me back.
The food was terrible honestly and not worth 200 bucks. I will def. not be back.
51Fifteen is one of my favorates. It is a great place for a business lunch.
Good food and service, but cold, impersonal ambiance.
I went here for my birthday dinner and to participate in Houston Restaurant Week. It's a beutiful restaurant. I did not love the lobster bisque, but the Porterhouse was outstanding. Hostess and wait staff were amazing!
The lobster bisque taste like tomato basil soup! If this is a cup of tomato basil soup I shouldn’t have any complaint!
The soups were amazing, but the steak and dessert were just OK. I’m glad we went for restaurant week because I’d be disappointed paying full price for the food. The decor is amazing, though!
Great vibes and brunch selections. Staff was very courtesy and food came out very quickly within a full crowd.
We went for Houston Restaurant week. Good choice!
The staff was wonderful, but the food was not... We went for Houston Restaurant Week and I'm not sure if that was the issue, but the food was very mediocre. The "avocado" toast had two tiny dollops of what appeared to be grocery store deli case guacamole, but no real avocado at all. The egg on top of the short rib potato cakes was cold and somehow overcooked but still slimy. Tiny mimosas were a whopping $11 each. I could go on, but those were the most disappointing features of what we were served.
We celebrated a birthday there and indicated so, but it didn’t seem to register with them. In any case, food portions were small, ambience more like a converted store showroom (which it was, as part of Saks) and not cozy. Service was very good but it is not what we were expecting...
Went for HRW lunch and the value of the food for the deal was perfect. Thank you!
