Everything we tried was delicious. The vegetarian menu available upon request is one of the best in Houston. Will definitely be back.
They oversold for mother’s day. Many items on the menu were not available and even though they were past the peak crowd, the service was poor. The good thing is the recognized they were having a subpar day and we were given some compensation
Coming here was the worst experience of my fine dining life. Whenever I arrived the party next to me informed me there would be a two hour wait. I came for dinner and they were still waiting for their brunch food. They ran out of crab at 4:30 in the afternoon on Mother’s Day? They told us twenty minutes later which delayed our food further. We ordered the lobster and shrimp. An hour and twenty minutes later they told us they had no lobster. It was only 5:30. They close at 9:00 and have no crab and lobster on Mother’s Day? Most of their dishes required crab. So if you order a dish it would come with no crab if the dish had crab. The manager came over and offered no concessions. He looked like he had a gift card of some kind but didn’t give it to me? I believe somehow he thought I was ok with my dining experience? They finally comped our meal. The substitute crab ravioli was water-logged and had no flavor. It was horrible. My moms snapper was even worse. I will NEVER come back again. I was so hyped up to come here. The bread and dessert were good. Our waitress did the best she could under the circumstances. Great atmosphere with horrible food!
My daughter brought me to restaurant for Mothers Day. However, the experience was very disappointing. We did not receive our appetizer until one after ordering and the entrees another I believe forty minutes. I ordered prime rib cooked medium and received a well done ribeye. My daughter entrée was less desirable as well.
Our reservations were for 1:00pm. They were pushed back and we were not seated until almost 2:00. It took 1.5 hours to get our food. It took about 30 minutes for drink orders. If the establishment was understaffed they should have closed. I went here for Mother’s Day and we had an awful experience.
From the location of the restaurant being next to Saks I thought the ambient would be more breathtaking. No impressed but not a grotesque place. We waited an hour for the food. No one came by to update us on the status of the delay. I had to hunt down the waiter to inquiry on the status of the food. Magically the food comes out 10 mins later. Did they miss our order? I dnt think so. The table next to us waited a considerable long time as well. Food was subpar to say the less. I order the steak and eggs which is described on the menu as New York Strip but I did not realize it would be 2 oz. of cut of pieces of steak mixed in with scrambled eggs. I did not realize I order a scrambler! The price along should warranted a bigger portion of steak. The eggs were close to burnt with grill stain on them. My mom's order the crab Benedict that came out with hard boiled eggs instead of poached eggs. She had to return her plate. Which magically came out after 5 mins later. I had a sidecar which was not great almost as if water was added. Not overly sweet either(I did not want it sweet, just a note) just bottom of the barrel quality drink.
We waited 1 1/2 hours from ordering to receiving our food, server never checked on us or offered anything faster to nibble on. Did not even offer to refill drinks until we chased him down to ask. When our food did get out it was cold. Did not offer any discount or to comp drinks. Total bill $275 before tip.
We go regularly for Sunday brunch, but it was so bad, I do not think we will come back.
We came for Mother’s Day today. Reservation at 11:30. The kitchen was very backed up. Took 6 minutes for our waitress to come take our drink order. Then it took 58 minutes for our food to come out. Many tables were waiting as well. We asked for ketchup. Another 6 minutes. The GM was there and should have come by to apologize to the tables. Ridiculous that they (hostess, waitress, GM) let this slide. Then the waitress asked if we wanted dessert. I told her only if it doesn’t take an hour. She went to check (Another 5 minutes ) and said the white chocolate bread pudding is not available today. Check please. We’re done ! It’s not her fault the kitchen is so behind. But they could have done something. I saw other tables complaining of the wait as well. Oh and our eggs Benedict with lobster came undercooked. The lobster-undercooked.
Love it soo much, food was amazing, prices reasonable and lovely vibe
Carley was great! Food was really good. We had an excellent evening.
The customer service was horrible. Not to mention it seemed as if we were placed in a hallway. When I informed the hostess of our seating arrangements which we were displeased she said nothing and didnt attempt to accommodate us. It almost seemed as if it was because of our race. But I would never tell anyone to visit. We ended up going to the cheesecake factory where the customer service was much better.
Nice place, good food.
Live music with Piano virtuoso.
2019 Easter brunch - disappointing, food quality was poor.
Huge waste of money.
So so disappointed in the Easter brunch at 5115! I was so looking forward to it, but the food was below average in taste and quality. Service was great so want to point that out, but unfortunately, good service can not compensate for blah food.
Took the wife to this restaurant for date night and we were very surprised. Their food was very decent and the layout was very nice. If you want something mellow and with nice scenery ask for the window tables!
This was our first visit to 51Fifteen Cuisine. We were celebrating my daughter's 12th birthday. The service was Amazing, but the food was food was less than stellar. Out of 3 entrees, I would say that only 1 of the meals was worthy of the expense. My daughter is a budding foodie and she was really disappointed with the taste and the plate presentation. She had the seared tuna with Bok Choy. The tuna was seasoned well, but the Bok Choy had no seasoning at all. Our group also ordered the crab ravioli and the stuffed chicken. The ravioli was delicious, but the stuffed chicken was dry and flavorless. All in all, for the price, it was not worth the expense. However, the experience was not a total loss. The staff was fabulous and very attentive. They brought my birthday girl a dessert and lit it on fire!!! She was so excited she was able to blow out a cake instead of a candle. That was AWESOME!!!
Best food in most high end restaurants service is a 5 star. Crab cake is mouth melting.
You will not be disappointed. Food is excellent staff is welcoming and professional. Piano musician is excellent will play any of your piano request.
Best bday dinner
Excellent experience from start to finish! Service was great! Oscar was the best. The food was very tasty and a good price. We will definitely be coming back.
I was entertaining my out of town cousin, who had an entourage of 11 Polk County (FL) School administrators and teachers with her. The restaurant was super accommodating. All of my guest were very pleased with their food, the service and especially the location. You were steps away from their hotel, the Hyatt Regrncy. Thank you for your attention to details during their visit.
What a pleasant surprise! A range of options, and all creative and full of flavor! A real 5-star experience. I was so happy with the food.
Try the grilled octopus - it is spectacular!
This place is top notch! The food was great and reasonable. Above all else for me the esthetics were AHHHHH-MAAAZING!! The ambiance and service was nothing short of luxurious!! Can’t wait to go back.
I truly enjoyed this place, what a gem!! I will definitely return with the hubby!
Food is always amazing! Oscar gave us great service!
Service wasn't great...had to ask anyone passing by to send my server multiple times. I was also provided with the wrong dish when I did finally order food. Overall, unimpressive. The ambiance is nice, but poor service can make or break an entire experience. I wouldn't go back here.
We were celebrating a birthday with a date night - had a really nice time. The staff was very nice and friendly, did not make us feel rushed, and encouraged us to enjoy ourselves and the reason we were out celebrating. They even brought us a special chocolate cake for the birthday and topped it off with a table-side show setting the cake on fire briefly - it was great!
Birthday was great! Food was excellent
I went to dine for my birthday. It was incredible from start to finish ! The hilight was the white chocolate bread pudding. Please order this . It was very quiet and service was incredible. Oscar was an incredible waiter.
This visit was for a business meeting and everything was just perfect! Our server Eder was amazing and the food, the piano and the ambiance as good as always! Great job 51fifteen
Went here for a business lunch. I had seen that there was a piano player but assumed that it was only during evening hours. It was a nice surprise to have him there at lunch time. He even showed the courtesy of checking with our table to make sure he wasn't playing too loud since we were the table closest to him. One party had the salmon entree which he said was very good. Others had the Ahi Tuna salad, steak salad, and Brussels sprout & kale salad. All were excellent. Overall great experience and meal.
This restaurant is one of my regular places to dine!!! The food, atmosphere and staff are always great!
Incredible! Our server Omar was very knowledgeable and made nothing but the best suggestions on what to try from the menu. From appetizers to main course and sides the entire experience is well worth it. The lighting inside is perfect and the noise level is not an issue at all. Me and my wife were able to hear each other clearly and the server as well. The Old Fashioned cocktail was so good me and my wife ordered 6! Lol. But remember always drink responsibly we know our limits so know yours. The staff also at me and my wife's request took photos of us in front of the wine wall which turned out perfect. I would post but the pixels are too large. Lol. Even the valet was courteous and made sure to guide us with precise instruction on how to get to the restaurant, which is by way of elevator on the left as soon as you enter. 51fifteen is highly recommended in my honest opinion. If you choose to go I recommend putting in your reservation first which saves you time and is more professional for an upscale experience. You will be seated immediately I guarantee. 5 Stars from me!! Kudos 51fifteen!!!! I will return. Lol
Good experience . We celebrated our husbands bday and it was awesome .... looking forward to go again .
This is a wonderful restaurant. The ambiance is really nice and the food is excellent. They have recently redone their wine list, which definitely has some better offerings now. Great place for a girls lunch or a date night.
We’re celebrating Valentine’s Day. The atmosphere was amazing. Food and dessert were delicious. The service was excellent. We’ll be back.
The service and food was optimal. The waiter Edgar was the best!
