The hostess was bad...waiting for an hour to seat on my table
The wait time WITH a reservation is RIDICULOUS and unacceptable.
Come here so much and I always love the steak but that one waiter with the thick eyebrows Italian man so rude criticizes how the steak should be made told him it was unseasoned and he didn’t seem to care brought the bill and told me I don’t wanna argue. Know the manager here very well! He should be glad I don’t complain.
Staff was a little rude and rushed us the entire time. Drinks were overpriced and not good at all. Very nice ambiance and vibe, but overall experience was poor. 10/10 do not recommend.
Very good place
Entertain your taste buds and yourself by stopping by this iconic restaurant. Awesome staff and customer service. Great views centered I the middle of high end stores and relaxing music. This place did not disappoint.
Great environment, wonderful service, delicious food
Very pleasant dining experience. The open courtyard seating was perfect. The food and drink and service was superb.
Started out well, but food came out at irregular intervals and one of our diners had to wait quite a while to get her entrée, and then when it finally arrived it was extremely over salted. Then we had to ask that the entrée be removed from the bill as it was truly too salty to enjoy at all. What started out as a pretty good experience resulted in a mediocre experience.
I am disappointed to have to give this place a low rating after being so excited to try it and so eager to go. We had reservations at 4:45 through open table and a direct contact of the lady at the door who was very rude in the way she was speaking with us she insisted that we did not have reservations and did not even know what the open table App. After later finding our reservation we were seated, Placed order with our waiter, Who came back a second time to ask us what our entire order was one more time. We ordered shrimp and calamari which was good the truffle fries was the best I wasn’t too much of a fan of the pasta and we ordered warm bread which was disappointing because they brought that out as our last dish and every restaurant I’ve been to provide you the bread and butter before your main order comes. The food wasn’t bad but I would never go back for the poor service.
Being in Beverly Hills, expectations are high and this place DELIVERED! ISRAEL WAS OUTSTANDING!!! We had calamari which was crisp and fresh, bolognese pasta which, omg, so good!! The caesar with salmon (wow!), the truffle fries because TRUFFLE FRIES! And the Tuna Tartare was so smooth, paired well with wasabi spread and crisp crackers! The dessert you guys, like, everything was perfect! Would not have changed a thing! Thank you for being on top of everything for us, we will be back!!!
The food was way below standard , over cooked, no flavor definately paying for the location not the food and I really tried service was great though
This place was terrible the food was distasteful it was really cold and the service was very poor I went for Valentine’s Day and I was not pleased at all
Not a good experience.
Very windy and cold. Well overpriced for what we got....poor Valentine’s Day event
Did not like the fact that the food menu was limited. It wasn’t expressed when I booked, and I went there thinking the menu was open.
Beautiful place with a European atmosphere. The food wasn't bad, but very underwhelming. Not worth $400
I received a call on Friday 02/12 to confirm my reservation for 02/14@730pm. I confirmed my reservation. I arrive on 02/14@730pm for my reservation and I’m told my reservation is not in the system. I showed the hostess my reservation confirmation and I was reluctantly seated. After dinner l, I reviewed my reservation confirmation and saw that the restaurant had checked me in at 2:44pm thereby flagging my 730pm reservation as fulfilled. That’s why I wasn’t in the system for my allotted reservation. When you make arrangements to show your significant other a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner and you arrive and they tell you your reservation isn’t in the system after verbally confirming two days prior it’s aggravating. I’m not sure if it was due to my Last name being Mexican and the assumed I wasn’t going to show up to a prestigious restaurant at BH. Dinner was $375 for two people with two drinks each. I even tipped on top of the $375 with the included gratuity and service fees! I will not be coming back again!
Took my girlfriend here for Valentines Day dinner. Food was undercooked and service times were significantly long for not having many customers. Overall taste was underwhelming and with a $300 tab (just the prefixed menu and a bottle of water) it was defiantly not worth it.
Worst experience and worst restaurant I ever ate at not only was my food cold my steak was horrible and chewy my girlfriends food was cold it was Valentines dinner I spent $300 on a dinner which was horrible and then I go home and check my email the next morning and get charged $100 for it supposedly not showing up to my reservation when I showed up and I attended my reservation on time the worst service ever
Came for a Valentines dinner and enjoyed the food. Tuna tartar was very tasty. Stake was juicy and the way I requested. The only issue is $9.00 for a bottle of water. I think it is a little over the top.
the service was terrible for being Valentines Day, bad management.. should have had more waiters. When you spend $490.00 you should not have to ask for bread 5 times, refill your own wine glasses and wait 40 minutes between appetizers and main meal.
I wish I could recommend this place, but the service was extremely slow. My husband and I were expecting to have a small wait on the food due to it being Valentine’s Day, but to have to wait OVER an hour and a half just to receive our entrees is just unacceptable ! We didn’t even order appetizers. Also, the food wasn’t even good. It was like outback or Applebee’s quality. The pasta sauce tasted like it came straight out of the jar. The manager never came over to apologize or anything. Our server was nice, but he would keep saying our food was coming next, but the food would never come. I think he just didn’t want us to leave so he wouldn’t lose out on his tip. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are many other restaurants in the area with better service and food quality.
Check the bill for wrong drink charges!
This was the worst restaurant I have ever been to.
It was very windy and cold, not typical LA weather however they ensured every table had a heating lamp! The drinks were good and strong, the food was good and despite the cold wind it was served nice a hot! All the staff were nice and accommodating! The set up outside on the cobble stone pathway surrounded by high end retail shops made you feel like you were some where eating in Italy! I will definitely be back!
Our server was inattentive and a little dismissive. We thought we ordered surf and turf with a filet and it arrived to table with a tomahawk steak. The food was tasty but cold and it was not worth sending back as the restaurant was very busy. I believe our experience would’ve been completely different with a different server.
Loved the experience, I will return soon.
They had availability for our last minute trip to LA for Valentine’s Day Weekend. Their COVID-19 outdoor dining was amazing. Spacing creating the perfect intimate setting. The food took a little while coming out due to the busy night but our waiter kept us informed. When dinner arrived IT WAS OUTSTANDING! Thank you for a beautiful night!
Started off great. Then they forgot we had ordered drinks, then they forgot our side dishes, and lastly they gave us the wrong tab. The food was okay, a little too salty for my taste. Location was nice. Prob won’t go back.
Loved it! Food and service was amazing. It was an over all great experience. Can't wait to return.
We went to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday and the host staff was rude, we had 3 different waiters which caused confusion and when we ordered steaks medium his came out raw.... I mean like just completely red and cold. Wouldn’t recommend it wasn’t worth it for the bill I payed
Was the worst service I’ve ever had.......had always walked by and wanted to try it. Massive disappointment !
I had one of best dining experience that I’ve had on quite a while. I highly recommend you park at two rodeo parking lot which takes you directly upstairs to the restaurant. The outdoor seating is set up so well. The food and service was incredible. The beer was nice and cold. This was during Valentine’s Day so I was expecting to be packed but they had everything under control. I’ll be dining here again very soon.
Outstanding service and food
It was ok. A little weird at the hostess table - made a reservation and showed up about 10 minutes early and the hostess said “well, you’re early and we don’t have any tables so you’re going to need to wait”... even though there were many tables open and when they did seat us it was at one of the open tables that were already open. She should have just said “welcome - let us get a table ready for you and we will call your name”. Who scolds people for being early? They usually appreciate that. Food was really good. It did take an hour though. Yes - 60 minutes. But they were super busy. Waiter was awesome. Dining outdoors was great. They had to bounce the heaters around but it worked out. Dessert was good. We’d go back for sure - but just make sure to show up exactly to the minute of the reservation... lol.
