Great food and service. The wait staff were awesome.
Very nice experience to try at least once. The server was okay and didn't have a lot of authenticity, however, had a great experience with the bartender and hostess before we were sat. Also, the food was good, music was nice, and overall nice place with a view.
It was a quick lunch. We ordered calamari, and a sandwich which came out super quick too. I loved the ambiance and the crowd. It’s a good place to sit and have coffee and people watching.
The food is amazing and the quality as well.
My problem was with the waitress who pretty much had her back to me when she was reading the specials and all I see was her behind and could not hear a word she was saying! Food was very good..
Touristy but good! The lobster gnocchi was yummy. Really enjoyed it.
Great place to dine for breakfast when staying on Rodeo Drive. We walked from the Luxe to the restaurant in about five minutes. It's location along the cobblestone street gives you the feel of being in Italy. The food was awesome! This will definitely be our go to breakfast place when staying on Rodeo.
Location, location, location. Food was decent. Lots of upselling on sides and bottled water. My meal was $14 and my side of berries was $14. Don't be shy to ask how much things cost if you don't have unlimited Beverly Hills funds to spend.
Food was tasty😋 sit outside if you can it's much nicer.
We had breakfast here on a trip to Beverly Hills. Extremely overpriced for breakfast!!! Our bill was $220 for 2 adults & 2 kids! On top of the food cost, there was a 15% gratuity added to the bill but the waiter told us that 15% is for the house. Anything on top of the 15% is for the waiter! Food was good, but definitely not worth the amount we paid, especially for a breakfast which mostly included mediocre French toast & eggs! My husband did order the breakfast special which was a Tomahawk steak & eggs. He really enjoyed his meal! View was beautiful on top of the stairs but it was drizzling and we were seated outdoors.
The only reason that I frequent 208 Rodeo is for the amazing balcony view. There truly is nothing quite like it anywhere else in LA. However, the food is not quite up to par with the atmosphere but still worth it for the view!
Amazing place , location, parking, view ..
Etc.. Delicious food. Nice atmosphere. We came for lunch ,but I will definitely come back for romantic dinner with my husband )))
Great food and wonderful location. Great service.
Super location. Super friendly staff. Great food and cocktails
It is romantic place and dinner, however the seats are way too tight. They try to squeeze you in, make use of every inch of their land.
We have gone several times to this place we love the food is delicious they have never served me anything I could complain about and the service is excellent
We went at nigth and it was very cold, they had the door open!! The food was delicious although they gave us the second courses without having finished the first one, everything a bit hurried to close and go home (I suppose).
The staff is amazing!!! Very attentive to our needs and customizing orders to our liking. We were there on Super Bowl Sunday so there weren’t a lot of patrons, and with the rain happening around LA, their gorgeous patio area was closed. Food was served promptly and very fresh (the burger and salmon notable standouts). The only thing that we did notice that was of concern was the automatic 15.5% Service Charge on the bill. Yes, it was listed on the menu that it would happen- and probably understand why being in a touristy area, but there should be other options for patrons to choose to show their gratitude for excellent service.
We have eaten lunch here on several occasions over the years. It is consistently a great place for people watching and the food is consistently good as well as the service.
Great service, delicious food! Had the Roma omelette definitely recommend it!
Excellent food in a location off the main sections of Rodeo Drive. The setting on a pedestrian only street is reminiscent of side streets in Europe. The service was outstanding and the staff engaging. The manager came by several times to ensure the food was to our satisfaction and that all our needs were met. The meals are expensive but very well prepared with a mouth watering presentation.
No brunch available on Sunday morning at 11:15 we were told despite the sign on the wall next to our table saying breakfast until 11:30. Extra bacon and avocado, at the waiters suggestion, were 10 a piece. For $150 lunch ( still water only in a bottle for 9 a pop) for three people? No thanks
First time visiting and it was totally worth it 😊 the food was beautiful and surprisingly good portion size, our server was fantastic, funny and helpful, we had the best seat in the house which made for epic people watching 😊
Great experience , great food , great service , great location , got free desserts for birthday celebration . Highly recommended
My mom and I came here for lunch as to it was her first visit to Beverly Hills. Although costly, it was well worth it. We ordered the soup of the day, ceasar salad, grilled cheese, limanado and truffled sweet potato fries along with the flat spring water and berry sponge cake for dessert.
They also serve their bread with an oil which is a delicious way to build your palate and start your meal. Very delicious !
The grilled cheese was crisp and taste met up to perfection.
The soup of the day was a lobster bisque with shrimp. It was very flavorful.
The ceasar salad was good. Nothing which would differ from any other salad but good.
Limanado was a mint lemonade. Although refreshing, it could have been blended better and have a bit of sweetness in it. The water was just what I needed to hydrate. I'm starting to become a water snob so any crisp and fresh taste gets kudos !
The hits were the truffle fries. My goodness, I was extremely impressed. The price made it worth it as well. I loved every bite of them and cannot forget the taste of them. Highly recommend !
The sponge cake was extremely scrumptious. It was delicious and more so, I loved the layout of the desserts they present versus bringing a menu out.
I would recommend this place and giving it a 4/5 overall. 4 because it is a bit expensive but still well worth it. I'll be back !!!!
208 Rodeo is in a great location specially if you're a tourist in LA, and visiting Beverly Hills and surrounding areas. The food is really good, location as well, but probably the best thing is the amazing service provided. I highly recommend to visit 208 in your next stop in LA, you won't be disappointed!
The food was excellent. The waiters were nice, one of them talked french.
Had the worst experience for me and my family!! Didn’t get offered water or bread like everyone else by the way I had to pay for a bottle of water ,food was great but waiter service was horrible took my waiter 40 min to come to my table and offer us anything.we spent $320 on food didnt mind caus food was excellent but don’t think I will come back or recommend anyone to go there .BTW maybe if I was dressed more elegant and no kids I think service would be offered differently
So fixed price for a mediocre food, a waiter who rushed the food and bill on New Year’s eve, when the idea for booking was to Tiara at midnight. $800+ bill for a party of 6, wasted. The food was just simple, nothing special, the sauces on the gnocchi and the filet mignonette so scarce. Not worth it at all. It make me so angry to even think about this!
Its one of the best restaurants in Beverly Hills, it has a selective menu and delicious food plus wonderful staff.
Have been staying across the street at the Beverly Wilshire and have been to 208 every day so far. First, amazing brunch, then amazing coffee, and now an even better dinner. Beyond the location at the steps of Via Rodeo, the food is absolutely delicious. Surf and Turf with lobster tail and truffled Tomahawk ribeye steak was to die for. And then top it all off with fantastic, friendly and entertaining service from Joey G!! A must dine place in Beverly Hills.
We were sat near the door to the bar and kitchen so there was a lot of traffic from staff. Most of our food was good my Cobb salad chicken was dry. I had to drink water to get it down. It just didn’t meet my expectations for a great salad it was just okay. The calamari was really good and the butternut quash soup was amazing. Wasn’t the relaxing lunch I wanted.
I had the Steak Frites and it was great!
Went to 208 for the second time and was very upset. While the food is very good, the service leaves much to be desired. Our waiter when taking our orders suggested to my 12 year old (while I wasn't listening) to add lobster to her pasta. He did it in such a way that she thought it was included with the dish. I was not made aware until the dish arrived and I was confused since I hadn't seen lobster in the description. I then proceeded to hear this particular waiter doing the same thing to his other tables. Also, they tack on a 15.5% pooled service charge for the rest of the staff that IS NOT for the waiter! I did not see this anywhere on the menu. So needless to say, although the food was quite good I will not be returning to 208 due to their shady practices. Sad.
I requested outdoor seating, when we arrived to the restaurant they told us we had to wait half an hour to get an outdoor table. We had to seat inside
They brought me a different dish from the one I have ordered. Food was ok, nothing special. You pay for the location of this restaurant and nothing more.
Unaccomafing waiter and no gluten/lactose free options.
Food was good
Server pushed us to order expensive food.
Excellent food! The truffle fries are to die for!! Expensive and slow service. We got our food quickly but it took forever to get our bill. I’ll go back for the fries.
