Our waiter was very efficient and polite but have to say we were disappointed with the food. We both ordered the chili which was Luke warm but tasty. We also both had salads which consisted of romaine as opposed to field greens and very little in the way of promised add ins. Overall an underwhelming meal.

Greeted and taken to our table right away. Waiter greeted us right away and got us water. He had great recommendations for beer. Helped us pick out good food as well. Food was served hot and in a fine amount of time. We were checked on at a good interval. Checks were split without being asked. Paid in a timely manner and then we were out in time for the show. The only not great thing was there is no noise dampening so as the time moved on it kept getting louder. By the end conversation was difficult but it was time to leave anyway. All in all it was nice and I will be going back.

Understandable when dishes fall on the way to your table. Mistakes can happen. However, when it nearly fell on top of a 2 year old and ketchup covered four people at our table and food came out piecemeal it ,should not be a surprise to know that we were not happy. Shockingly, a member of our party heard the waitstaff laughing about it afterward on her way to the restroom. It literally ruined my husband’s birthday dinner. As “compensation”, we were offered dessert which hadn’t even ordered nor we could eat. Our bill was the full price. Only grudgingly did the restaurant deduct a small amount from the bill. Sadly, this restaurant won’t last long.

My parents came into town and we brought them here. They loved it! The music was overly loud and for some reason songs kept cutting off before ending. Our server also had to bartend so it took some time to get drink refills. Otherwise, it was a great experience!

First thing first, our server Chelsea was amazing, she was honest and professional. Chelsea was able to inform us about the city of Roanoke. Her knowledge of the menu was very good. Restaurants need more servers like Chelsea, who actually take pride in their job. As far as the food, I had the 12oz ribeye and mash potatoes it was lukewarm. The wings as a appetizers was good. I would still recommend this restaurant. Their menu has a lot of variety of dishes. Again, KUDOS 👏🏽 💐 to CHELSEA!!!

We’ve dined at 202 many times. Our server was excellent and the food quality was good except for a salad my daughter ordered. The lettuce was so pitiful. It was almost white, absolutely no good, healthy dark greens and no variety. It needed a transfusion at Carillion, I think. My daughter was very disappointed at its lack of quality.

This was our first visit to 202 Social House in downtown Roanoke. We dined at 4:30 before the after-work crowd. 202 is primarily a sports bar with a bar area and table dining area. We were seated at a table by the window with a view of Roanoke's market. Large-screen TVs are prominent throughout 202, a great place to enjoy March Madness or Saturday football games. The menu is varied with burgers, flatbreads, pasta, salads, and more. We enjoyed pretzel sticks with awesome cheese sauce, salads, a burger, and fish and chips as recommended by our very attentive and helpful server. The burger was perfectly prepared. The fish and chips were excellent. 202 is the perfect place for casual dining and to enjoy sports. We will return.

The quality of the food is as good as it gets. Nice take on the Chicken Marsala. Chop house burger blend was nice. Service was great. Disappointing to have a reservation and then placed directly in front of the front door.

Service was sluggish. Portion of food was small for entree. It was hard to hear with our table of 6; it would be even louder in a full capacity/non Covid environment. I am not sure if this place wants to be a sports bar or a restaurant with decent food. Right now they are really neither.

Went here in years past for valentines day dinner when they had a nicer menu, with three coarse meals special menu, which was great in the speakeasy room. This year they only had the regular menu (high class bar food with 4 nice dishes) and only had the option to sit in the front room with opening and closing doors with cold drafts the whole dinner, even though we reserved 3 weeks ahead of the dinner. I was just planning on a nicer menu for this day and to walk us to the table, not point. Don't get me wrong the waiter was really nice and there was a free rose, I just wish they planned a little more on seating and menu if I'm going to pay 20 plus dollars a dish on this day.

I have been to this establishment multiple times for brunch lunch and dinner so when I was planning my work holiday party I chose here instantly. I made reservations online and confirmed in person (although there seemed to be some confusion in finding it they eventually did see my reservation and let me know I was all set) our party showed up @620 for our 630 reservation. We were not seated until 645. Fine As it was busy. A waiter finally made his way over to let us know he would be taking care of us but was also helping a party of 15 in another room -an indicator to how the rest of the night unfolded. He came back after 10 minutes to get our orders. At this time we had decided on our meals and ordered drinks and food. We waited another 10 minutes before a member from the party went up to the hostess asking where our waiter was we hadn’t even been given waters. She grabbed silverware and gave them to us. Another 5 minutes and most of our drinks were arriving. The waiter stated the beer I ordered was no longer available but 2 minutes later he came over with it. He also didn’t remember who ordered what and almost gave a beer to a 13 year old. Her mom ordered a beer and had to remind the waiter multiple times that she was still waiting on her beer. It showed up right before our meals were delivered, a near hour since we had gotten there. 4 of the 7 dinners were delivered by a kitchen staff member and asked if the other 3 members in our party had ordered food as they were just helping deliver. The food was delicious and correct but our party was incredibly frustrated. The only time the waiter seemed to be attentive was when checks came and he stood there waiting for us to all review our receipts and pay. Overall completely disappointed in our experience, which was a first and unfortunately last time for some of those who attended. I do not recommend for larger parties or for busy times that the staff clearly can’t handle. I do enjoy the food and atmosphere.

Food was excellent. Server was attentive and had moderate knowledge of the drink menu. A lot that she hadn’t tried so insight to try something new was limited. Cool place and I would recommend.

Menu was not as listed on open table. Very limited for a Saturday lunch! Not impressed...
