A renewed focus on island fresh cuisine promises to elevate the entire dining experience including an artfully displayed breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet each day of the week.
We had such a nice time and the service was great! We also had a great view. Although the food was OK (not great) I will go bad for the service and atmosphere. It’s really a nice place!
Restaurant was very good and food was good too. The only thing was the music was slightly distracting but I understand that it is a bar too.
Excellent food. Best buffet. Server was attentive and really pleasant. The hostess was really terrific and told us when to arrive to get the best seat. The prime rib and Kauai shrimp were highlights as was the sashimi. And of course the chocolate macadamia nut tort was to die for.
Service is always wonderful! Been a loyal customer since Prince Court first opened. Now although 84, & eating 1/3 of what we were able to eat, love the people, atmosphere, & Margaret the hostess.
Devin was absolutely amazing and attentive as our server. Most of the food was great. Only thing is I wish they would bring back spicy ahi poke
Menu has changed. Some good. Dessert skimpy. Bread pudding good. Like oxtail soup.
Harold provides awesome service. Very attentive, super friendly, genuine.
Good options nice.
Valentine’s Day lunch
Better than I remember
Definitely quality over quantity now
Great food selection... it it was all about the prime rib and crab legs for me!!! Plate after plate....even for dessert! Lol
100 Sails is one of my favorite restaurants! The views of the harbor are lovely, the tables are spaced far enough apart so that guests are able to hear each other talk, the service is excellent, and the food at the luncheon buffet is delicious--and nicely presented as well. I especially like the wide variety of salads and desserts (their bread pudding is to die for)! An added plus is that the parking in the Prince Hotel garage where 100 Sails is located is fully validated. Suggestion: To help assure that you get a table next to the oceanside windows, I suggest you arrive at 11:30 a.m. when the luncheon buffet begins.
Excellent service. Very attentive wait staff. Prime rib, tempura, and handmade sushi rolls were winners. Variety was good, and not overwhelming. Wish the salads were more interesting. Desserts were very good, especially the chocolate macadamia pie. My favorite!
Fantastic place to spend with family and friends! I look forward to our next meal at sales.
They need to adjust price to buffet selection - either add more items to justify high price or lower cost if they are offering minimal main dishes for a buffet.
It isn't worth $62. More like worth $25. Some of the food was cold and the only good thing was the steak. The crab was small
Phillip is a gem! We really enjoyed his service and conversation. Both of our kids were not feeling well so he went out of his way to make them comfortable. The food was delish as well!
The presentation of the food is excellent, tasty and fresh. The prawns have great flavor, large crab legs, fresh hand rolls and wonderful prime rib. We look forward to dining here again, delicious deserts the bread pudding is exceptional.
雰囲気がとても良く スタッフが好印象でした。普通に支払いしようとしたら 楽天カード特典でオフになることもスタッフから教えてくれて良かったです。また是非 機会があれば行きたいと思いました。
Food was good, service was good but not at the $60 per person level! The available selections were not up to par with what I've come to expect for this price range. When you consider the other buffets out there, like the Kahala for $65, this one doesn't even come near that level of quality, service, selection or value. Would be much better in the $40 price range.
I’ll start off saying that everything in Hawaii is expensive. The food can’t compare to those in the mainland but based on quality and price for something in Hawaii it’s a decent price. Came here for their Sunday Brunch. Brunch is $55 per person and parking is free on Sundays with validation. Majority of their dish for brunch could be found in their dinner buffet. They had prime ribs, crab legs, sushi station, sushi bar (cold), pole station, pastry station, omelette station, antipasto, salad bar, waffles, orange juice, guava juice, and shockingly oxtail soup.
Our waitress was very attentive. She would check on us if it looks like we’re looking for something. The other servers would check on us too even though it’s not their table and they’re busy. Now that’s wonderful customer service. Don’t be afraid to ask for butter or anything if you don’t see it out.
The overall experience was good; however, I wish there was a little bit more food selection. I did love the desert section.
We had my birthday dinner reservations for 7:45 pm on Saturday February 1st. Soon after being seated we went to the buffet area to get prime rib and sushi. My husband and I apparently got the last 2 small pieces of it. This is where it gets ugly. We had invited 3 guests and 2 of them were only looking forward to the prime rib for dinner. My guests were told they just ran out of prime rib and had steak there instead. My guest frequents the 100 Sails for the prime rib dinner and he purposely holds lunch meetings there to enjoy it and share the experience with other doctors. He was very upset to know that he didn’t have the food he was looking forward to eating- a letdown. He called the manager over and wondered how they could run out of your premier main dish. The manager was cordial and gave us a discount on our dinner tab. The waitress learned of our situation and she was way more attentive to our needs. I’d say she gave excellent service from that point.
I do not understand how your prime rib buffet can run out of prime rib!! Puzzling!! Maybe they can invite 8 of us back to make up for the negative experience for my birthday. I literally only wanted to eat prime rib and temaki sushi that night too.
I hope by sharing this experience, the message does not go to waste- this should not happen to anyone else. Especially since we paid $60 per person for NOT prime rib buffet. Only 2 of 8 got prime rib. So sad!!
We gat a free dinner with our hotel room. I don’t like buffers and overall the food was underwhelming. I’m glad I didn’t pay for it
It was great food and service was amazing!
Expensive price for average food.
Again! Another FABULOUS dinner experience.
Tonight we had Willane (hope I spelled it correct). She was so sweet, attentive and personable. She made our night so pleasant. We’ll be sure to ask for her again.
Billy, the manager , he always has a huge smile on his face. We love seeing him when we dine.
Honestly, the food is always good and delicious but the people is what makes us go back every time.
I haven't been to the Prince in a long time, and it was my first time at 100 Sails. I requested through Open Table, a window table, and got exactly what I wanted. There was a line to the restaurant at 10:30, so it's a good thing that I made reservations ahead of time. All my guests were impressed, and the buffet that is offered is fabulous. If I have to fault anything, the roast beef was kinda tough, and bread pudding a little too sweet. I was hesitant about trying the mac nut flan, but glad I did, and also the tapioca.
The pricier ahi items are left out, but understandable to keep prices down, and the overall selections more than make up for it.
Get away with my Beautiful Wife ☺️ and with super impeccable service 👍 as always
From past experiences with buffets, there needs to be more food options....although service was great
We went for the lunch buffet during Chinese New Years week. The quality of the food was very good. Selection was not as much as the Kahala or Halekulani but for a fraction of the price you expect that. There was both Hawaiian staples as well as prime rib, hand roll sushi and wonderful deserts. You must save room for the haupia/coconut cake. It is amazing. Needless to say I had more than one slice. 😂. The service was also very good. Our drinks were being refilled just as fast as we could drink them. Amazing. I felt like I was eating at a nice restaurant in Japan. If you’ve experienced that, you know what I mean. To top it off we got a Senior discount. 🤙
Felt like a cafeteria. Check in like a group. They want you to do buffet but ala cart is better. Chicken licata was excellent. Service no smiles not inviting just wanted to clean and have you eat buffet.
Taken care by very attentive and friendly waitstaff. Will go again
Great service but food was okay and soft drinks and coffee were Ala carte
Service by our wait staff was excellent (she kept checking to make sure we were okay and if we needed anything), tables were cleared of used dishes quickly, and the Hawaiian lunch buffet food had a good variety of choices and very tasty.
The hot food and sushi lines were really long, ran out of hot foods quickly, and the people who just got their sushi “cut” into the hot food line.
- moving the sushi line to another area of the restaurant;
- having two lines for the hot foods (moving hot food to an area where guests can be on either side); and
- replenish the hot foods frequently so guests are not standing around waiting for the food to come out.
*Maybe do the last suggestion during the beginning of lunch (11:30-12:45) of the Saturday lunch buffet.
overall is nice but bit pricy for the food quality. No need to price down but hope better food
I have been to 100 Sails on several occasions...this time we were celebrating birthdays for two friends ... everyone enjoyed the food and ambiance.
Overall, I will definitely return for future business lunches.
Suggestion; tables could be slightly larger relative to space needed for multiple plates (buffet) setting. Drink coasters would be a nice too.
Restrooms were very clean and in close proximity to the restaurant. Lastly, the view of the harbor through the glass wall bordering the entire seating area was a bonus!
Great food in a beautiful location. Service was excellent especially since it was a buffet. Try to be there to experience a beautiful Hawaiian sunset! Wonderful value for the money. Going back soon!
Breakfast buffet items were limited.
Pastries were delicious and outstanding.
I did standing at Sushi Counter, the day which is Thursday, there person making TEMAKI Sushi, He was not to friendly, I went back two times, when I went second time, he look at me like why you are here again.
He should be more friendly to everyone, he does not say one word, so he was very hard to approach.
Other persons are waiting too, he should be friendly approach.
Out of town family visiting
