    This was our first visit there and I was excited because I googled for the best calamari. I was not able to even eat it it was so rubbery it would not chew up. I tried a few pieces and brought the rest home eat it my dog snore the crows would even eat it either. My husband had the pizza and it was the sausage pizza only one that seemed to be available with meat and he was very disappointed in that. The fact that our bill came to a total of $76 was shocking. The salad however was excellent. I ate every bit of it. This was our Monday date night and we drove all the way over from Northeast Tacoma but sadly we were disappointed.

    The steak was done just right (i.e., rare). Have had the chicken before and it's quite good too. A dinner companion's lamb was tough and had to be returned.

    We frequent Primo Grill and never regret it. Frankie is so welcoming and kind whenever we go to Primo- we love him! He even called us to let us know he would be seating us near the window on a sunny day. The service is great, the food is amazing.. zero complaints about this place! Highly recommend.

    The food was amazing the cream sauce with the mussles I could drink lol. The service was also amazing the women serving us was kind an so on top of things my water glass never emptied

    Delicious market/catch of the day - a type of salmon - excellent. The beet salad was delightful, and the non-alcoholic mocktail with botanical infusion was beautiful.

    As always, the service, the wine, the excellent menu -- exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed a bottle of Malbec, a brussel sprouts appetizer, a Caesar salad, and an amazing mushroom pizza, followed by a lovely chocolatey brownie/ice cream dessert. Thank you Primo Grill! We'll be back!

    Enjoyed our early Mother’s Day dinner. I had the black cod and it was good but not as good as the ahi that I had the time before. My husband and mother enjoyed their pasta. The appetizer of mussels were excellent

    Been here multiple times always order the ribeye, unfortunately this time everyone at the table received it far over cooked. We ordered 3 rare and all 3 came out medium. Service was slow that night was we decided to eat them anyways :/

    We sat near the back-of-the-house (grill & prep area) and it was plain to see the well choreographed mindful production of everyone's meals right in front of our eyes. We especially liked how the owner (Chef McManus) oversaw, in a professional unobtrusive manner, everything that was going on in the kitchen and also how he was not above delivering some of the dinners himself to his patrons. We enjoyed the hot-n-crispy Fongi Pizza, grilled lamb chops (4 of them!) and the roasted brussel sprout appetizer (balsamic kissed) , generous enough in size for 2. This place is consistently good! Thank you, Chef Charlie!

    Server was excellent, noise level was very high, definitely not easy for conversation. We’re given table right by door so incoming patrons were around us which makes for very uncomfortable experience. Probably wouldn’t return although food was good.

    Super busy and we all seemed to have been seated at the same time however the team at Primo handled the rush well. Swordfish was perfect. Not sure the rib-eye was worth the price as we can grill the same at home—was expecting it to be much more than it was. Coconut cake for dessert didn’t disappoint. Primo has always been our go-to restaurant. It still is as you can count on them for great food and drinks.

    I had high hopes for Primo, and the wait staff was pleasant and professional, but the food was moderately to high priced and felt very phoned in. The special - porcini dusted halibut with lemon beurre blanc and roasted vegetables was completely under seasoned, veggies were so soft it seemed like they were boiled and the sauce was scant and also very very thin, presumably because of liquid omitted from the soggy vegetables. There wasn’t any salt and pepper on the table, so… My partners pasta entree was a small’ish portion of carbonara. He liked it, but wished there was a bit more. Our entree’s arrived before we were finished with our starter and before my partner’s glass of dinner wine. Hazelnut brownie was scorched at the corners (not in a good way) and the apple hand pie was still cool in the center. The desserts arrived at our table literally 4 minutes after we ordered them (much like our entree’s). Great if you’re at Red Robin with screaming kids, but we drove an hour to visit this restaurant and were looking forward to an evening out. Primo missed the mark for us.

    Easter dinner with 9 family. Food is prepared appealing with local influence. Attentive staff that called to make sure arrangements were properly provided. Price is reasonable and food was delicious. One of my go to restaurants when having a large group.

    It has been awhile since we have been to Primo and were very happy with our server and the food. Everyone at the restaurant worked to make sure we were comfortable. The food was very good and they gave us good sized portions.

    4 dinners were deliciously as always! Pork clop, ravioli, nero spaghetti were all prepared well. Service started out with a couple of rough spots (server seemed rushed and didn’t hear two requests and didn’t take 4th drink order) but she recovered. Primo is one of our favorites restaurants and we look forward to coming back again.

    Had a wonderful experience! My family and I were visiting from out of state and we found primo grill through OpenTable. So glad we did! The food was delicious and our server Alison was very pleasant. Will definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

    We have enjoyed Primo more than a few times. But today we were told they had a certain entree special that my wife ordered. The entree was not available yet, so we couldn’t get it and the wife upset. Food is always good but don’t say you have it if it is not available.
