    Crowded and neither the kitchen or the bar could keep up. The drinks took forever and the food was not fresh. We may not come back.

    The food was very good, but I did have to send back my steak because it wasn’t cooked the way i wanted it. Our waiter didn’t fill our drinks very often and I was left with an empty glass most of the time. Overall it was an great experience!

    My first time dining here. For some reason we were seated right beside the very noisy and busy kitchen. I will definitely be sure to ask to not be seated there should I return.

    Went on Mother’s Day. They had a limited version of their regular menu items presented as a prix fixe for $69 per person. Felt like a poorly planned money grab. They didn’t have any of the appetizers I was planning on getting nor the entree I had planned to get. Ordered the curry mussels as an appetizer and the majority of the mussel shells were closed which means they were undercooked or inedible. Tables were squashed together and packed in like sardines. Food took forever. Will never come on a holiday again. Kind of over this place.

    The view overlooking Portland was absolutely breathtaking. The decorations and ambience of the restaurant or superb. The service was wonderful. There were servers constantly refilling water. The food was absolutely delicious. It was a wonderful Mother’s Day for myself. And my mother-in-law and our family. We will definitely be returning.

    Tables were packed so close together that servers could barely walk through them. Noise level was so loud you couldn’t have a conversation with the people at your table. Food was great and server was as well.

    Just ok. Service was great, but food quality was average. Caesar salad was soaking wet in dressing. Sushi was decent and came out very fast despite the restaurant being very busy with prom. Would only go back for the views of the city.

    I don’t know… Seems like PCG is coasting on its reputation. Food was mediocre relative to price, servers were polite but indifferent. Had to send a drink back because there was so much gunk all over the rim of the glass (it hadn’t been cleaned properly). All in all a big shrug of an experience, and a bit tough to swallow given their pricing.

    The food was great, the service was great. The view was amazing. It was a little noisy in our area due to a family with small kids, but other than that everything is great. The only bad part is I booked my reservation through OpenTable and I received an email saying that I was a no-show, I’m not sure why but even at the front desk when we checked in they did not have record of our reservation. Our waitress was Angela ( she was amazing) and we were at table 12/1 so I’m not sure what happened there. It was just me and my husband. We had a 5pm reservation. I received email confirmation of my reservation as well as a text message. If you would like to check into this, our bill was 201 but after using the $50 Landry’s rewards to bill was 151. Thank you!

    Our server was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and delightful. Pacing was unrushed. Our salads arrived cold and appetizers and dinner arrived hot. While the fillets were tender and cooked to the proper temperature, they were under-seasoned and the potato was uninspired and dry. Other meals were great (Cioppino and short ribs).

    I dined here with colleagues while we were in Portland for a conference. Everyone enjoyed their food including two vegetarians and a pescatarian. The one colleague who got a steak said it was among the best he's ever had. The views from the dining room are stunning. Although they make the most of the available space to fit in as many tables as possible we didn't feel crowded and we were able to hear each other over the lively sound in the dining room. Our only complaint, which I am sure was due to dining on a busy Friday evening, is that it took a while after we were done eating to get our waiter's attention to get the check. I definitely recommend Portland City Grill for business meals or special occasions.

    Despite the fact that we did not have a window table it is still a superb view. Our server was wonderful and very helpful in choosing our meal. It is a great place for a special meal and all our dishes were delicious. The Ahi Tuna Nicoise was perfect as were the oysters I started with. The drinks were interesting and tasty.

    We went on a Thursday night and the restaurant was crowded but our service was perfect. Our waiter gave us just the right amount of attention. The food was delicious. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and a seafood dish full of shrimp, salmon and scallops. It was cooked perfectly. The view was beautiful and I think the prices were very reasonable. We would go again next time we are in Portland.

    I took my fiancé here, I ordered a medium rare ribeye. After getting it very rare, I sent it back and it came back just as rare. My brothers fiancé ordered the new York strip, terrible flavor and virtually unseasoned she was not impressed. Waiter checked on us 0 times other then when he took our order. Food was just cheap and mass produced.Not coming back unless it’s just for the view.

    The food, atmosphere and our Server, Raymond, we’re all top-notch! If you can get a window table that’s a plus, but whether your eating at the bar or in the general dining area the “vibe” is great- festive yet elevated. I recommend requesting Raymond to be your waiter. He’s knowledgeable, attentive, and a joy to have serve you!
