Ordered artichoke for appetizer. It was just a boiled artichoke with sauces. Very flavorless.
Salmon with green beans. Beans seemed to be boiled too...no seasoning. Salmon was cooked well. Also ordered muscles with blue cheese. Pretty good. Fries came with everything. They were fine.
Thank you for your review. Artichokes are steamed, the flavor is in the dipping sauces. Look forward to see you again.
CONTINUES to be a favorite! Wonderful location, marvelous selection of food & beverage, "and a good time is had by all."
Thank you for your nice comments and support.
Just had not been here in years. Fabulous menu, great service,
Everything was fabulous!
Thank you very much for your very nice review. Good to see you again.
Nice little place, good food, very nice service, but you are seating outside either on the sidewalk, or on the street, they have set up a cute outdoor area for Covid-19.
But, they are Nextdoor to a Club that plays the loudest head banging music that is very distracting and annoying while you’re trying to eat and speak to your husband. Lol
Thank you for your review about food and service. Complaints about the nextdoor went to the City. Hopefully we see you soon again.
For what we are going through with the Covid, I think they did the best they can do. I recommend this restaurant. The staff did an excellent job. And they were so up beat. And for sitting next to the street it was ok. They made it work.
The food is truly amazing here and so is the service. I had the Branzini-- the whole fish and it was absolutely perfect.
Only draw back here is the street noice which is certainly not the fault of the Restaurant.
The City of Palm Springs should outlaw the ridiculosly loud motor cycles cruising down Palm Canyon Drive --- similiar to Laguna Beach which outlawed them--- and tickets those with the modified muffler system which creates the irratating noice
Love this place!
Covid has really impacted the dining experience. This has been one of my more ap
Very pedestrian. Just ok food. We would not return.
Waited 1/2 an hour for our table. Waitress very confused. Food just ok. Wouldn’t rush back.
Food was excellent. Would return next time we are in town for sure.
Food was amazing and service was excellent!
Really unique experience! Great food and excellent service. Make sure you make a reservation because it gets busy around 6.
What an amazing experience! Great food, cocktails and the best service. Will definitely be going back soon.
Some of the best food in Palm Springs. Recommend to everyone, romantic, delicious food, great service.:)
We were 1 minute late for our reservation due to the Halloween traffic. The manager scolded us for being late, then said we will have to wait for a table. We gave no fuss and waited patiently.
We later learned that he put us at the very bottom of the waiting list as punishment for being 1 minute late. We had to wait until every single person from the waiting area had a table (including those who arrived after us). We didn't get a table until 1 hour after our reservation.
The food was good, but still left with a bad taste in my mouth. Won't be going back here.
Great food and great service! Loved all of their fish!
Had reservations for 2 weeks, called day of to request not to be seated on street. Also asked what corking fee was ; woman I spoke too was not pleased with either subject. Once we arrived we were 1 of two tables on the street. Guess it doesn’t pay to think ahead, call and make a request.
Friendly dedicated staff. They ensured the table was cleaned properly. Waiter was helpful in picking out food. Didn’t feel rushed at all.
Love this restaurant and how they are following guidelines. Food and service very good. Unfortunately the night we went the City decided to jackhammer the sidewalk right in front of the restaurant right at dinner time. It was LOUD! Not the restaurants fault. People did leave. We stayed and wound up having good meal but it would have been nice if the restaurant had bought the tables a drink or desert for hanging in. They were definitely apologetic and will be back for sure.
The staff was very good. The food was delicious! We will go here again when we are in Palm Spring
Our party of two were very understanding and waited for an hour even we had a reservation. We walked away after the hostess seated the second one-person party at a two-top table. Both parties came after us. The hostess had a strange way of sitting people when she kept us fixed on a table that people was about to leave, but obviously they were not ready to leave. We understand that she couldn't break up large tables because she needed to accommodate some large party, but sitting other twos and ones before us was very rude. We were waiting with about fifteen people, and were the last that ones that didn't get a table, even with reservation and came in before some of the others.
Food was great service was slow and the WORST waiter ever
Unfortunately, this restaurant didn't honor my reservation, and unapologetically told me I had to wait 20-25 minutes. After 25 minutes, there were still three groups ahead of me. I gave up and got Thai next door with no wait. I probably finished my meal before Pomme Frite would have seated me.
Excellent evening - the service, food and atmosphere created during these COVID days was safe and perfect. Nicole handled Palm Springs' sudden change from Red to Purple stages with grace as she shuffled people's reservations (no inside dining). She and the staff made sure we were all taken care of while on a short wait. Great job!
The dining experience here was delightful as usual. Service is always outstanding, friendly and prompt, and the food delicious. Items are a bit pricey, but then again so are most restaurants in the Palm Springs area.
Excellent service---not obtrusive and let us take our time. Older gentleman---forgot his name. Martini-9$ and G and $8
Gazpacho-8$---really good amd great presentation
Small House salad 9$..nice sized portion and good flavor.
Vou la Vont (?) 22$---excellent---gpd [protion creamy and flavorful sauce...mosit chicken--would order again.
Coq a Vin $23--good but not great...good portion and lots of ingredients and moist chicken..but lacked any flavor. Needed more seasoning and perhaps more vegetables that enhance flavor.
Nice night dining on street Great expediter and busser. Host or manager came to our table to ask how things were. Everone in masks and good covid procedures. Very busy.
All in all a good dinner and we will return. Corkage is reasonable at $15...We bought our own wine. Check was $108.
We enjoyed the snails, olives and salmon tartar. The mussels and clams were OK. There were a few ordering and reservation issues that we forgave because of the stress of the pandemic. However an apology for making us wait nearly an hour past our reservation time would have been nice.
Got seated two hours after our reservation
Very special restaurant with French/Belgian food.
Love this place, one of my favorites. Took friends who were from out of town, glad to see the extra outside dining space.
Food French food- extremely pleased with the meal, value, and wine. The manager was on it , so welcoming attentive- wait staff a bit slower. Overall, excellent.
Over an hour to get our food. People that sat after us had already left by the time we got the food. You think they would of comp the desert
Best French food in Palm Springs! Love this restaurant and always bring friends and guests.
Great French/Belgian food. Authentic and delicious
Always love coming here for clams and a great wine selection.
Love the food and atmosphere
This was our first time here. We sat on the patio, which was lovely. Service was excellent throughout the entire meal. Our food was fantastic and we will definitely go back!
Came for dinner with friends.excellent food and service. The escargot and mussels did not disappoint.
Two words for this restaurant: freaking amazing. We absolutely loved everything from the appetizers to dessert. I have been to Paris and this restaurant helped me to remember how amazing it was to dine there. We can’t say enough. Thank you for the wonderful dining experience Pomme Frite! We will be back every time we are in Palm Springs.
