I brought my friends from Chicago here and they LOVED it. We went early so it was quiet and we could easily talk. I had a pizza with artichokes, zucchini and prosciutto and it was
scrumptious especially with the crispy crust. The salads were tasty (what IS that dressing?) and the chicken was perfectly cooked. I can't wait to return.
My wife and I chose Il Fico for our last meal in LA before emigrating. The staff made the night extra special, surprising us and being talkative without being overbearing. This place is LA’s best kept secret, the food is outstanding and the charming ambience is relaxed and perfect for a date or talking - not for loud obnoxious groups. Most highly recommended
a very nice restaurant. great food. one recommendation is that they have too many tables in a small area so constantly having to move your chair for guests/servers to get around is a bit uncomfortable.
but overall a great experience.
Hands down, one of the best Italian restaurants in LA. Go there. You’ll be glad you did.
Overpriced wines and excessive corkage charge. Service was good but slow.
Consistently great food and service
This is a cozy restaurant, homely, nice ambiance. Food is excellent. Not overpriced. One of the best pizzazz in town.
Service is amiable
Great food, good service, warm atmosphere. A neighborhood delight.
First time visiting for brunch... really enjoyed it. Lots of wonderful pizzas, pastas and special entrees. Fresh and flavor salads for those who want something lighter. Staff is always great, and accommodating. Highly recommend!
I eat at Fico regularly and also recommend it to my friends. The food was as good as ever, but entirely too noisy on this past Saturday night. It is really important to keep the music, especially rock music (and I question whether loud rock is good for dinner music) to a bearable level. The noise level almost ruined our dinner. Please remember this in the future. Additionally, it's too noisy when the door is wide open and cars are racing up and down the street.
Food was excellent, as always. Service is just okay. The waiters are quick to take your order but it's difficult to get waiter's attention thereafter. Had to ask three times for a second glass of wine. Ambience is lovely, especially sitting outside.
Food was delicious and our server was very nice
Il Fico never disappoints! Had a lovely evening on the outdoor patio... food, wine, service... all wonderful. Their specials always are, and they're regular menu offerings are always spot on. It's comfortable, never fussy or snooty, always welcoming. Looking forward to my next visit...
Wonderful lunch with my dear friend - service excellent , food really fabulous and music so fun!!! Love this place !!
As always Pizzeria il Fico does not disappoint! Delicious food, great specials, the pizza is amazing and gluten free, the chef is creative and talented. Good wine, beer and the service is great. It is a great value. One of my favorites in LA.
Delicious, straightforward food from top to bottom of the menu. Dessert is weakest offering here, so enjoy the pizza and a pasta, some wine, and call it a delicious night.
This was a first time for my husband and I. We couldn't have been more pleased. The service was excellent and the food delicious. My husband had fish and I had pasta. Both were great. We dined early so the restaurant was not too busy and not too loud. We would definitely return again!
The food is delicious is delicious and the staff is awesome. Been here a bunch of times and will keep going back.
Service? We were an afterthought. Waited and waited for a waiter. Pizza average. Salad average. The poor service ruined the evening.
Love this restaurant. Food is amazing!!
We tried this petite local place for a "friend's get-together/reunion" because it was close to Cedars Sinai (where my friend had treatment), not too fancy (but upscale nice) and not too pricey (though not cheap). We were delighted. We split the arugula and fig salad but it was so delicious I wanted my own. We each tried pasta; my friend the Strozzapreti with sausage and me the Tagliatelle veggies with burrata and pesto. (All the pasta is hand made) It was so good I wanted more (but it was a good portion). We also had an incredibly decadent warm chocolate Tartine with vanilla ice cream sprinkled with chocolate dust. It flowed like lava. The service was impeccable, unobtrusive and friendly. I was so happy I can't wait to return.
Took the kids for a quick happy hour meal. Pizza was stellar and the meatballs were a hit with the kids (and me!). :)
Time and time again Il Fico proves to be the best Italian restaurant in Los Angeles. If you're looking for incredibly fresh ingredients, authentic Italian dishes and the best pizza in town, this is your place.
I come often with friends. The ones I brought with me this week had never been there before and are ready to come back.
Took 3 friends to celebrate my birthday before going to the Hollywood Bowl. The food was outstanding, great wine and bubbles, very fast service. It was the perfect Sunday evening dinner celebration. Casual and delicious!
Hmmm. This used to be one of my top five restaurant choices, after the last stop there I must say it's dropped in my opinion. The meatballs used to have cheese inside- delicious! No cheese this time, weird. Okay, maybe they just forgot to throw it in so let's move on....
We always get the fig and prosciutto pizza and it's been wonderful, this time the prosciutto is different and gross! It's sliced thick and hard to eat, definitely not the same quality as before.
Do I dare say they are cutting costs? Cause it shows.
I LOVE Il Fico. All the food is excellent. The wine list is excellent.
The "strawberry shortcake pizza" is devine!!
I just love it!
We just moved into the neighborhood and are trying everything within walking distance. We were very happy to have discovered Fico and plan to make it one of our regulars. Every single bite of our meals was perfection and very authentic. Homemade pasta that was the best I've had in 35 years in LA! And that is saying a lot since Italian is my favorite. Our waiter was charming and gracious and the room was not too loud. Had a great neighborhood vibe, but could also be a special occasion destination because the food us just that good. We will definitely be back soon AND often.
All of the food was delicious and we loved the many gluten-free options. We shared an appetizer, a salad and a pizza with a GF crust that you would never know was not wheat based! The wait staff was friendly and very attentive - we will definitely go back!
We're fairly frequent customers. It's always delicious, the owner and staff are great, the ambiance is cool and comfortable. I do recommend this restaurant all the time.
Service was awful - we sat for almost 1/2 hr before anyone took our drink orders. Two other tables that came in after us were served, and had apps before our drink orders were taken - very disappointing. We asked several times for service and were repeatedly told 'just one minute'. I will not return.
The gluten free pizza is delicious, as well as the eggplant appetizer. I've only tried two salads here but both were fabulous. Can't wait to try many of the other menu items! Pizzeria Il Fico is my new go to place to have a nice, moderately priced dinner with a date, a friend or my children.
Every time we are visiting LA, we get a fix from fico!
A gem that never disappoints with excellent cuisine. Tops my favorite Italian restaurant list.
Always great food!! We have tried many items and everything is delicious.
Great neighborhood gem with amazing food and friendly service!
Have been to this restaurant previously and loved the food. The second time didn't rate as highly due to the inattentive service. No one asked if we wanted anything after our food was served and the waiters congregated in the front of the restaurant visiting among themselves. Had to wait a long time for the check!
Great food! The service was also really good. Would recommend to all my friends and will be a regular there!
