Food was great. View is awesome. Food was very slow to come . Took way too long.
The staff and especially the bartender at Piste are incredibly helpful and friendly. The food is fabulous !!
Nicest staff, awesome food! Amazing views! Only problem is it is hard to ski after such a wonderful lunch!
Nice alternative to the food court style dining. The food isn't quite as good as we experienced in France, but I wish every ski resort would have something like this. Allowing guests to change out of boots into slippers would be a nice touch.
Chicken French Dip sandwich is a winner! The chili too!
Great lunch spot on the mountain.
I eat at this restaurant often for its high-quality food and ambiance. Its only flaw is the time-consuming wait for food to arrive.
Very disappointing. We were sat for our reservation at noon and then asked 50 minutes into our reservation to vacate the table within 10 minutes (it was also a special occasion - a birthday). I was not even half way through my entree when we were surprised with this information. So, we dropped $250 on lunch in 50 minutes. No offer for coffee or desert. At no time was I informed when I made the reservation, confirmed the reservation, or when we were seated that there was a table time limit (and even if there were, it’s generally 90 minutes for fine dining). If this is the operation they want to run, they really should eliminate appetizers as an option (of which we ordered 2). Skip this place and grab lunch at The Handle Bar at the Four Seasons instead. We had a MUCH better on mountain dining experience at The Handle Bar.
I recommended this place to friends and brought them for lunch. I was embarrassed I made the recommendation. Two in the group ordered burgers which come with bacon. The bacon was undercooked, grey and fatty.
When we pointed this out to the waitress she asked we put the bacon on a plate so she can show the chef as he demands to see the undercooked food. My friend asked if she was going to reheat that bacon and she said no. In fact, that is exactly what the chef did. The waitress brought back the same bacon now burnt. We were horrified. Extremely low class food management. Not what is expected from a fine dining establishment nor at this price point.
Very disappointing- will not return and will advise others to avoid.
Excellent food in a wonderful atmosphere. It was surprising to find that quality food at the top of a mountain! We loved it!
We loved Piste Bistro! We had lunch there twice while skiing. It's a lovely spot to warm up and have a gourmet lunch before returning to ski. The menu is great and service is also good. We were seated on time. But you can't be in a hurry. It's a place to enjoy the ambiance and relax.
The food took way to long- as dud beverages.... but yummy!
Such a nice lunch break treat on the mountain. The biscuits are so yummy along with the kale salad we enjoyed very much
We were visiting from Georgia and had a fabulous time in the village and at the restaurant. We are not skiers but we enjoyed the ambience, great food of and a wonderful view. A big shout out to the ladies at the reservations desk! Somehow we got on the wrong Gondola and they accommodated our group once we arrived. Thank you !
Great food and service. A real treat at the top of the mountain.
When you compare the Piste food quality / pricing, to the cafeteria upstairs... it is a really good value: superb food, excellent sit-down service, relaxed atmosphere, nice bar options. It is our go-to lunch spot. The duck wings, edamame and chili are all great.
Lunch on vacation. Took the Bridger gondola up on non skiing
Great food, creative menu. awesome views, professional and friendly Service.
Great place to recharge and refuel with lunch while on the slopes of Jackson Hole. Compared to other casual eateries, the food is way better, and the premium in price is worth it.
This is a really fun place. The view is spectacular if the weather is good. Food is good and service attentive. Do be advised that to get up there you must ride the Bridger Gondola. Free in the summer but it costs $16 per person in the winter. I have eaten here several times and I must admit I like it much better in the summer. They often have live music and the patio is outstanding. Winter is great if you’re skiing but otherwise not as enjoyable.
One of my favorite restaurants in JH...always good service, great atmosphere, and good food.
Views were amazing but dinner was mediocre. Very small portions and too expensive. Limited choices.
The night started well with attentive service during the order taking process. We ordered champagne, starters, and mains. The champagne arrived promptly and at proper temperature; the starters arrived soon after and were well presented and delicious. Then the night broke down: we were forced to get up and pour our own champagne---twice---and then the main courses didn't not arrive for over 30 minutes. To make the situation worse, once delivered to the table, the fish was less than warm and the steak was at best room temperature. The first 3/4 of the evening was flawless, the last 1/4 implosion ruined our evening. No compensation was offered after speaking to the manager. I had the pleasure of spending over $250. to pour my own drinks and eat cold food. Never again.
Our server Austin was fantastic. The view is amazing!! Great food & wine.
Katie is a great waiter. Both professional & personable & very knowledgeable about the menu items. Would recommend this eatery to everyone.
The best food in Jackson. Loved the whole experience from the tram ride to the dinner!
Excellent overall. One exception, the desk staff screwed up the Open Table reservation and canceled it. Open Table corrected this after I told them about it.
The food was wonderful and our Server was very attentive. The noise level was a bit too much for the type of evening we were expecting but it was tolerable. I would recommend Piste Mountain Bistro.
Really impressed by the Quality of the food. Had a delightful waitress and enjoyed our entrées in our cocktails. So glad we got up there before the season ended. We look forward to returning at Christmas time for a nice Wintery dinner!
Our server Mamie was fantastic! Great evening! Will be sure to pass our recommendation along!
Excellent. Did not expect the food to be as good as it was. We were more excited about the location and view that we were going to experience but we were pleasantly surprised that overall, it was an excellent experience from the food to the location. Service was wonderful. Would highly recommend.
The service was not good at the bar and even at the table. The server seemed “checked out”
We visited this establishment for dinner to celebrate our anniversary at the end of August. We made reservations in advance, rode the gondola up, and showed up early to have a drink on the patio before we were seated.
This place is awesome, from the atmosphere, and location, to the hostess, the server, and especially the food! Jackson Hole and Teton Village are wonderful, but we definitely notice how expensive everything is...When it comes to Piste Mountain Bistro, however, money is no object compared to the value they provide their customers. I believe the money we spent was 120% worth it due to the exceptional quality of the food, service, and over all experience.
Great restaurant❗️Really inventive dishes, sunchokes with all kinds of things and a main course of fried kohlrabi with delicious but unidentifiable delicacies❗️You have to love a place where you could never reproduce at home what they serve❗️Friendly service. Great views from the mountain. Super elegant version of S’mores for dessert. Don’t miss it❗️
We had a lovely meal at Piste. Our server, Mamie, was terrific. Funny, helpful, knowledgeable about the menu. Excellent food, creative with a great view and fun gondola ride.
We live in the area, and have been to a number of restaurants in town. It is rare that we are both pleasantly surprised when eating out. Our server was knowledgable, informative, and sensitive to my partners dietary restrictions. The food was exceptional - both in the effort to source and supply local options and in preparation. Additionally the view from the mountain is always a fabulous backdrop for dinner. Great work! Thanks
Lovely view. Great menu. Attentive service.
Absolutely worth the gondola ride to have a drink on the outdoor patio while waiting for a superb meal in the “nouvelle cuisine” tradition. Portions are small but exquisitely prepared and presented. Nonetheless the atmosphere is casual and friendly.
Food was excellent made with local fresh products.
Andy our server was great.
Can’t get a view like that anywhere. Food is delicious
I will begin by saying the service and location was amazing. I am happy to spend extra money on a meal providing it isn't totally reliant on it environment as opposed to the actual food. In this case the location makes the place, it's clear upper management/ownership spend less on the quality and resources of the food. Piste had an upscale environment however a simple place like the Jackson Hole playhouse offered better food and they are two COMPLETELY separate ends of the spectrum.
I will recommend this place and come back when they spend more resources on their product and not totally rely on the view for the experience.
