We had an incredible experience at Piste! A unique experience riding the gondola to the top of the mountain and experiencing the phenomenal views before dinner! The food was a 10/10! Do not miss Piste!

Food was good and views were amazing, but the gondola delays and seating system need work. The food was delicious, and the view was stunning. We also appreciated the friendly service. Unfortunately, due to weather delays, the gondola was running late, which caused a crowd to arrive all at once. As a result, it took quite a while from ordering to actually receiving our food. Another downside was that, regardless of reservation times, everyone with a reservation between 5:00 and 6:30 PM was seated on a first-come, first-served basis. It was a bit chaotic as we were all scattered, unsure when the gondola would resume, and then had to queue up quickly once it started again. We had noted that it was our anniversary when booking, but that wasn’t acknowledged at all—no one asked or mentioned it, although we noticed a nearby table being asked if they were celebrating a birthday. That said, after days of disappointing meals in Yellowstone, the food here was a real treat, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner overall.

Amazing staff and views!!! I got the daily soup and the stone fruit salad with burrata. The stone fruit was peaches and was super unripe, so very unflavorful and crunchy. Soup was good ish. My partner got the wagu sirloin and it was amazing. Our server, Jason, was phenomenal.

Our server Lee was great. He was attentive and had a great personality. The food was overpriced for the quantity and quality. You’re pretty much paying for a view.

The view from the outdoor patio is OUTSTANDING, and the gondola ride is no-cost if you have a confirmed reservation. Inside the restaurant, a modern fireplace and efficient heating kept us very warm. Wait staff greeted us promptly and kept water glasses filled. The corner curtain/shades malfunctioned, locked in the down position, so some of the view toward the mountain top was not visible from our table -- we still had 180-degree view down the mountain from the front windows. We shared a starter of butternut squash soup (excellent). The main of trout with lemon butter sauce, capers and roe was served on a bed of tri-color cauliflower. It was beautifully presented and the rich sauce balanced well. But the portion-size of the trout fillet wasn't noted on the menu and it seemed very small & thin - perhaps 2 oz. We shared a chef-specialty dessert of Carribean rum cake - just the right amount of sweet and crunch. Delivery of dessert to the table took 15-20 minutes and our friendly server did stop by to reassure us it was on the way "soon". A table near us ordered a starter meat/cheese platter that looked terrific. Next time... I fretted a bit about dress-code but need not have been worried. Casual jeans to (a few) day-dresses were the norm -- not at all formal.

Went on opening night so figured there could be hiccups. They forgot about us at the bar when we arrived early for our reservation. We were early bc there was no clear instructions/directions how to arrive via gondola. Where to park, board, pay etc. should maybe be included with reservation details. You don’t need to pay for the gondola btw if you have a reservation. Food was just ok and service was good but not the best for the price and location. View was obviously stunning and what you’re paying for.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Piste. The food was delicious, and service was excellent. My only complaint was that we had difficulty resolving an issue using Open Table to modify our reservation. I resolved that by dealing directly with the restaurant.

What makes the Piste is the dining experience. At the top of the gondola with stunning views, it is spectacular. And watching the snow cats dance is so fun. The food was a bit inconsistent - the ribs were overcooked and the chocolate dessert was uninspiring. Cocktails were fun but very expensive. Staff was friendly and fun.
