The food and service was amazing. We It is very loud in the restaurant and hard to talk.
We tried with our relatives from Houston and everyone in our group of 5 loved their pasta lunches. Hubby had gluten-free and all was yummy. The view was beautiful , our server gave us 2 4 1 tastings at the winery. Overall we'd recommend this restaurant and plan on returning again soon.
This was Mom’s birthday lunch and recalled an excellent lunch years ago for my dad. We were not disappointed this time although the menu had changed from before, with less Italian dishes.
The food was very good. The servers were just going through the motions. We had to clear our plates so the entrees could be served. I had to refill my wine glass at a winery! Had to ask for a bag for our leftovers. This time of year the vines are barren. If we come back, it would be at the end of summer or just before the harvesting of the grapes.
Nice location. Good views. Great burgers. Everything else was just okay. Don't do the Seafood Portofino. This is not a seafood place.
The view was great considering that it was a cloudy day and had just rained. The service was excellent. The appetizers were excellent as well. The cheese plate was really good. We had burgers, grilled salmon, Osso bucco (meat a little dry), and seafood pasta. All the dishes were very good based on the comments from everyone at the table. My seafood pasta was just ok. The artichoke was too vinegary. I believe it came out of a jar or can. I would recommend rinse out some of the vinegar from the artichoke first. It was too overpowering on the rest of the seafood.
We went to the wine tour and I had the wine tasting. Both were excellent. The tour guide was very informative. Became a member.
Food was great, service was great, restaurant was beautiful with amazing views!
Excellent food and wine!!
Fun place for lunch after a cheeky wine tasting. Excellent service.
Went with a party of 6 for Christmas eve lunch. The special, Osso Buco with pumpkin risotto was very tender and tasty. The service was exceptional. The only downside is the noise level, as it is a very lively space. It has many windows with lovely views of the hillsides as it sits atop a small hill. The wine special at half off bottles of Merlot was a pleasing surprise, especially on a holiday!
Tina was fabulous! The food is the best in Temecula wine country! Lobster Mac and cheese is superb! Flavors & freshness of the food are amazing. A must try! Restaurant is clean. The view is Spectacular! Syrah was so good.
Great food and service. Would recommend some type of window shade for that " in your eyes" sun.
Great view and delicious food.
Our first visit here, probably not the last—the savory chicken chowder alone would ensure a return. Mr. Man thought his three-mushroom soup was excellent also. They were both huge bowls, so I ended up taking home most of my entree (a substantial shrimp crepe dish) to make sure I had room for dessert. The creme brulee was indeed lemony, though more like pudding than custard—still tasty, though. We came at a late-lunch time when the room was fairly empty and had extremely prompt service. We look forward to trying it again in a warmer month when the vineyard view is a little livelier.
Wonderful food and incredible service! Highly recommend this great sport with a beautiful view!
I have to admit the view was wonderful.
However, everything has garlic. If you are allergic, don't bother because they do not make accomodations for it. My burger was good. My dad liked his chicken sandwich and my mom would have liked the Santa Barbara salad if there was a dressing without garlic or balsmic vinegar. The walnuts in the salad were rancid.
The service was average and the restaurant was not busy.
We have dined here twice and enjoyed it both times. The last time we were there, they were setting up for a wedding towards the end of our lunch. That would really be my only complaint because it was a little loud and slightly awkward for us. Other than that, I recommend this restaurant when visiting wine county; mostly because it is easier to get a reservation than some of the other establishments.
Great food & service! Usually only open till 3. Great foe
A midweek lunch getaway, celebrating a special event or a romantic bite for 2.
Pinnacle restaurant has beautiful views overlooking the winery and food options are plenty. The Mediterranean chicken plate with risotto was excellent! Recommend reservations on the weekends.
We had a lovely lunch here. My son claims that his burger was the best he has ever had. (it was quite tasty) They had bottles of Sauvignon Blanc on special, which we ordered and it was lovely. I had the shrimp caprese salad which was delicious and my husband had the seafood cannolli. The service was fabulous. I definitely will dine there again and recommend that others should too.
Second time here & didn't disappoint. Try the shrimp appetizer
One of the better winery restaurants with a nice view from the windows. Winery is across the parking lot so makes for a nice visit for tasting and then lunch after. Burgers are tasty and they have wine pairing suggestions with each entree.
Pinnacle offers a fantastic view with wonderful wines. Chef Jason is amazing ! Every dish is prepared fresh, served at perfect temperatures, and don't forget the yummy desserts, paired with champagne or dessert wine ! Server Tina is excellent, she will make your dining experience the Best !
Overall good experience, nice menu selection. Was expecting a better view of the vines. Will be back when we visit Temecula wineries again.
I and my 3 friends each ordered a different meal, while sharing an appetizer of cheese, grapes, olives, etc. We also had a bottle of the excellent Viognier. Our waitress, Tina, was terrific, and did not rush us at all, even though we had lots of catching-up to do. She made our luncheon even more special, for which we all thank her.
Waitress warmed up and realized we weren’t McDonalds eating. Food was amazing but the noise level was annoying and they sat us at a card table which means we couldn’t pull up to it fully. Really? Great food, just an disappointing atmosphere.
This is my favorite restaurant in the Temecula Wine Country area. Unfortunately they are not open for dinner only lunch. The food is very good and I always go there when I am in the area.
The presentation, food and service were outstanding; but the noise level was so high that we had a hard time hearing the waiter, even though he was at out elbows. You need some acoustical treatment in the ceiling to reduce the noise level!
Wonderful restaurant on a hill with an extraordinary view of wine country and its lovely vineyards. Delicious Mediterranean food served with a flair. Classy surroundings are fit for a romantic date or anniversary.
Lovely setting with a view. Very attentive and friendly service. Great and unique menu choices, food was fantastic’
Food excellent, service excellent. Wine is excellent also.
We love Pinnacle and dine here often. The food and service are always excellent (we love Tina) and the views are wonderful. It's especially nice in the summertime that it's indoors and makes for a nice break from the heat!
Food and wine were delicious. The service was excellent.
I come here regularly and it's one of the very best restaurants in Temecula Wine Country.
My manager and co-workers were very impressed and although they live out of the area, they want to come back.
Lunch was great and our waiter Matt was very attentive. The views of the vineyard is amazing.
Food is very average with small portions and hefty pricing. You get the feeling wait staff don’t care about you.
We had a wonderful lunch here. Our server, Matt was so helpful and one of the best servers we have ever had. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered great suggestions when we asked. The food was delicious and the views add to the ambiance. We enthusiastically recommend this restaurant
The shrimp caprese was excellent! Brussels sprouts ok. Lobster Mac and cheese was a bit fishy at first but it mellowed and was delicious. Rich but delish. Wine was very good but would really rather have a choice of a flight of wines.
Had a lovely salad with strawberries on it and a side of salmon - delicious and perfectly prepared ...
