Petersham Nurseries is a lifestyle destination that includes a plant nursery, an elegant greenhouse restaurant offering set menus for all diners, a shop selling exquisite antiques, homewares and gifts and a teahouse offering wholesome seasonal dishes and homemade cakes.

It is a place of calm, away from the bustle of London, that respects and is in tune with nature and positive living.

The Boglione family, who own the nurseries and live in the adjoining Petersham House are rooted to their blend of British and Italian culture which remains at the heart of the business and is reflected in the style of the food that is served. Petersham Nurseries Café is inspired by what is growing in our kitchen garden and by the produce supplied to us by our sister company, Haye Farm.

Whilst maintaining their passion for simplicity, flora, fauna and responsibly sourced produce they have created an unparalleled setting just outside of central London.

                                                      We were disappointed with our 3rd visit to Petersham Nurseries, the service and ambience was excellent but the food and wine pairing was not to the usual high standard we have come to expect. Lamb was overcooked, and underwhelming flavour wise. The beef dish was was good but it was cooked three different ways even thought we all asked for medium rare.

                                                      The food was very poor, some items were too big, eg amuse bouche, my fish soup main course was insubstantial. Flavours and seasoning were not good, presentation wasn't great. The crab starter was largely pasta and didn't taste of crab, the pasta was too al dente. I could make better food at home. It was definitely not worth the £100 cost/person and i would not go back

                                                      One of the best and most unique dining experiences. The dining is in the nursery with an outstanding staff answering every question and being very helpful. The food was excellent and the ambience was outstanding. A dinner we won’t forget.

Burrata bowl was too small and difficult to navigate Mains were sent back as they arrived cold. …. Dessert of stewed apple? Not sure what it was supposed to be. Overall very disappointing and overpriced
