It was good food and mood with my good people. I was just disapointed they have separate menu on dinner and brunch.
This was my 2nd time visiting Pearl's. Unfortunately, the server this time was subpar to say the least. This was the worst experience with a server I've received within the past 10+ years. I literally can't remember a time when I received service this poor. The worst part, is that I was told our server was the MANAGER! He did not refill my water once so for the entire 2nd half of our visit my glass was empty. He never said hello, he just walked over 10 min after we were seated, and stated, "do you know what you want?"
The food was good again, nothing memorable, but average restaurant quality. Most of the appeal is with the ambiance and the intimacy of the space. It was still enjoyable on the rooftop, but I just can't get over how poor the service was. I will probably visit again in hopes that this was a one-off, but if it happens again I won't be back. I really hope the owner takes another look at the management staff they have in place.
Went to get Brunch, and it had ended. They didn’t have a full menu as it was changeover from Brunch to Dinner. Sat outside, which is a great rooftop, but they had a DJ spinning and the music was so loud that I was literally yelling at my friend sitting next to me. Asked if we could move, and the manager was willing to help us out, but table we were going to move to had been reserved the next hour. Manager was giving a little bit of attitude, not a lot, but enough for us to be put off. We quickly had a glass of wine and then left. Won’t be going back there anytime soon, or maybe ever again. Much better options in the neighborhood. Our server was nice and pleasant and understanding of the situation. We didn’t order / eat any food. Ambiance was awful though.
We had a great experience. Enjoyed the food.
A brunch with a mimosa kit can never go wrong. Fun spot to sit and the food was excellent!
The food was too small for the price and our waiter hardly served us. Not even the meal. Drinks were good!
Beautiful setting, very instagram worthy pictures could be taken. Food was delicious (zucchini pasta). Definitely recommend!
Really cute space. The food was excellent but the service was lacking. We waited a long time and never got to order a second round of drinks and waited over 20 minutes to receive our check. However, I would give it another try because the food and drinks were fantastic and the atmosphere is adorable.
The restaurant is cute and eclectic, however the service was awful. The servers/ hotesses were not friendly. The food lacked flavor and was completely overpriced. I paid $14 a mimosa! What was even more shocking was a bottle of champagne was $10 LESS than 4 mimosas! I don't have any intentions to return.
Perfect location on The Strip! The service was surprisingly great and our waiter was so knowledgeable about the food ingredients and wine. This place is actually the only bar I’ve been to with excellent food. Will go back!
Food was very good and atmosphere, but the service was awful. Once i arrived they rushed me to order my food because the kitchen was going to close. I reserved at 6:15 and they close at 7, so i don't understand why they would reserve at that time. On the website it says they close at 12pm that needs to be updated. Then the waitress brought us our bill without us even asking for it. Her excuse was that she had another job to go to.
Perfect spot for a girls' brunch, grad party, bachelorette party, mother's day, or any other girly activity!
The food took a very long time to bring. Our waiter was avoiding the table.
Reserved on Opentable but when we arrived, they would not honor the reservation, and were due right rude (even though they were only half full at 8:30pm). First and last time there. Be advised,
My table was beautiful, the waitstaff was very patient with my large party, and the event planners were very accommodating. The food! The lobster tacos are a must.
Lovely place so beautiful and "instagrammable". The food was delicious we had smoked salmon toast and a pepperoni flat bread. Both yummy and very filling!
The mimosa kits are super cute as well.
Weird, they have guest wifi but when we asked for the password our server said she would check (?) And then when she later returned to see how we were doing she didn't mention the wifi. Strange you'd have guest wifi but not give out the password.
The music could have been louder but maybe it was just drowned out by the noise/buzz of everyone enjoying their brunch
Apart from that everything else was perfect.
Great Sunday brunch place to hang out with your girlfriends.
Cute place but the food is not great. The quality doesn’t match what they charge for it. For example the steak looked like a steak from Norm’s and the Mac and cheese tasted like melted American cheese singles.
Had a lovley dinner here with friends! Our waitstaff Winston, hooked it up and was always checking on us, kept the mood lively with his energy and warmth! The food was flavourful, from the deviled eggs to the Lobster Mac and cheese, the food is divine.
My favorite had to be the Hip Hop / Rnb Vibez the Dj was on! Really set the mood for a fun Saturday night!
Only thing I was sad about was ... the amazing hot chicken sandwhich was NOT on the menu that night! Bring back the chicken!!! *cries* Other than that, all was amazing!
Food and drinks took forever to come out. Our waiter was great!
Cute place to hangout and good food!
The chef messed up my friend’s order twice, she did not want to go through a third time, instead, she just kept the food the way it was even though it was not the way she asked for it.
Lovely rooftop with views, great food and service. Perfect for a date night groups or even a work dinner
Food was mediocre the service took a while and so did the food. Drinks were good I would go back only for the drinks
Really cute place, great view of Sunset Blvd if you get sat by the edge. Menu had good selections, it is a bit speedy though- $16 for a burger and it doesn’t even come with the fries. Overall great atmosphere, would definitely go back when I’m in town!
Pearls messed up 2 orders out of our group of 6 people... And then it took a while to get the correct items back to the table. We've had better service here before, but it was pretty bad this time around.
Terrible service. Bad energy from our server from the word go. Super slow, not friendly... sucked overall. Will not be returning, largely because of the bad service.
Perfect location if you're seeing a show at the Viper Room or Whiskey a GoGo. Good drinks and great burger with open air "ceiling" and nice view of Sunset Blvd.
The whole experience came as a happy surprise. Walking distance to the Roxy. Balcony table with a view of LA. Food was very pleasing ... Mac and cheese with Brocolini was delish. And an amazing fried chicken sandwich - both very tender and quite large. Added a salad and pizza/flatbread too. The Happy Hour prices made this meal affordable. And Abby, our server, was on point and very friendly. We really enjoyed our meal, vino, and the atmosphere!
Everything was great, except our waiter was pretty dry. It just seemed like something was going on with him. He just seemed he didn’t want to serve us, or he didn’t want to be there. He was just “over the day.” But great place though!
Easter brunch- had amazing oysters and cocktails for a nice, light brunch.
Nice low key place with great menu
I just love the food and the vibe here! Always look forward to Pearl’s Rooftop when I visit LA 😄
I mainly went because of their mimosa’s kits. Before they used to be very colorful, cute and very girly so I brought me girlfriend to experience it but unfortunately the mimosa’s kit were alright. Not as cute as before just very plain but their juices were good to mix with. Wish they go back to their gorgeous kits. Food was great though :)
Took my sister to Pearls for a Birthday brunch. The food and ambiance were great, but the service was extremely slow. Hoping it was just an off day
The place is lovely and ideally located on. The food was delicious. It took a little while for us to get our drinks, ice tea and water. Apparently, they were brewing the tea. Overall it was great, but the music was up at a pitch that fights against conversation and ambience. Not sure why the volume has to be cranked, especially at a Sunday morning brunch.
Slow slow service. Took 53 min to get our eggs.
This reservation was a last minute decision... Looking for a celebratory place that had vegetarian/non-alcohol options/view of the Sunset!
The communication between Open Table and Pearl's Rooftop as to our request was not conveyed and led to an awkward moment when we checked in at 6:45pm on a Friday.
The Host(ess) and everyone of the waitstaff went above and beyond to make up for the miscommunication created by the difficulties the original reservation's failed to convey to the restaurant.
It was a tremendously lovely and satisfying night, nevertheless, and we intend to return frequently now that we've been made aware of this establishment. I hope that OpenTable will do what they can to correct the miscommunications that their site has overseen.
Went here on a date during happy hour before watching a show at Largo on Coronet. The Nashville hot chicken sandwiches were excellent and the prices were even better. It was a really cool ambiance on the rooftop, but it wasn't as high as I originally thought it would be. I would definitely go back and I highly recommend.
