The cleanliness was a problem. There was a dirty napkin under my chair and food on the table from previous customers that hadn’t been washed off. Service very slow. But the food was very good and the view is nice.
Service was extremely slow.
Wonderful, fun experience. The aerial tram is fun and the view is beautiful, the service and food were excellent.
Great food and wonderful food. Server Allen was charming and friendly. Can’t recall ever enjoying service so much in other restaurants.
Beautiful views and great food. Enjoyed the tram ride up to the restaurant
There was something wrong with the heating. We were all freezing and some of the good was cold too.
Total waste of time and money. This restaurant needs a serious update. No ambiance at all, gross food and crappy service. The food was so awful and took forever. I sent mine back and didn’t even bother to get anything else. We ended up to have to stop at another restaurant on the way home so I could have dinner. Complete waste of time, energy and money. Save it for somewhere else. Would never recommend the tram or eating at this restaurant to anyone, EVER!
We had an enjoyable dinner but they did not have beer as they ran out. That was a little odd.
Excellent food and nice portions, great view and worth every minute of your time
Stunning views and good food- big burgers, great fries. An unexpectedly nice meal given the touristy nature of the location.
We've eaten here several times. The food has improved since our last visit. Unfortunately, the service has not. Our waitress was excellent, but the food is delivered by other staff. My soup and entrée were delivered at the same time, as was one of our guests. It is a beautiful setting, especially with the snow outside. Definitely would recommend for the food and view, as long as you don't mind a few quirks with the service.
Would have given 5 stars but they had to seat us away from the view of the desert down below.
We had dinner at Peaks after the sun went down and had a nice view of the lights in the valley. The restaurant is set up so that every table has a good view. That's the upside.
Our waiter got my wife's order wrong and there really wasn't time to correct it, so she had to eat something that was ok, but not one of her top choices. He was very apologetic, but really could not fix it. My meal was mediocre, too.
I think the lunch menu is better than the dinner menu, and better priced. If you would enjoy seeing the valley in the daylight (the scenery is spectacular), go for lunch. It is a better deal.
Always get the hamburger!, You can’t go wrong. It’s nice and tasty. Have had other items - hit and miss.
The service was super. It was not crowded on a Saturday afternoon. My wife loved her steak. She said it tasty yummy. My grilled cheese was fine. It came with fruit that was fine. The food cost more but look were you are. Love the views from up here.
Albert our waiter was outstanding without being intrusive in my opinion the key to being a gemreat waiter
Restaurant desperately needs updating. Food was not worth the cost, reminded me of diner food, my steak was covered in gravy.
Food was great, service was fantastic, ambiance was casual yet pleasing. Visiting during a non-peak time was a good approach and allowed for ease of access to this great restaurant with no waiting.
Beautiful vistas marred NY mediocre service.
It was wonderful! great food and environment
The scenic view was amazing. It felt as if wherever you were seated you had a great view through the huge glass windows. The tables were placed very close together so you were bound to hear the conversation from the person next to you as they heard yours. The menu was very sparse and had only a few options under salad, meal, and appetizer. We had great service and the food was delicious. We were told our plate would come with broccoli but instead were given asparagus and it was cold and hard instead of cooked and soft. Very pricey restaurant but it was a great date night place.
Love Peaks, only wish they would give tram ticket discount, etc. we paid $150.00 to ride the tram to have a $600 dinner. That kinda deters is from eating there more frequently.
The food at The Peaks was very fresh and tasty. We split the beet salad and a burger plate. The portions are large so splitting them worked out well. The view of the valley below the tram is amazing and the ride on the tram is very cool. Make sure to make a reservation for The Peaks because it is a small restaurant. The service was just okay. I think our server had to many tables that were far apart. Otherwise it made for a nice afternoon.
The Tram Ride was fun. Our visit far exceeded expectations. Wonderful menu. Delicious!!
Service staff was engaged and so hospitable. We felt like our experience at Peaks restaurant really mattered to them.
Food was better than expected, as I assumed the view was the major draw. Service was a little slow, especially with drinks. Not very attentive, never asked if we wanted a second drink.
Food fine but the view was amazing!!! Very nice
This was our first time to Palm Springs and friends had recommended us to come up in the afternoon to see it in the daylight, stay for dinner and then go back down at night. It was spectacular... We will be back to stay for the day and hike around.
Thought the food was ok and not worth the price. I understand we are paying for the view which is spectacular.
I think if someone really took the time and effort and revamped the menu it would make a huge difference.
We got shrimp for appetizers and it was ok, 5 shrimps with a bit of Napa cabbage on the plate but it cost $16.00 . Way to crazy expensive for Ok taste. We ordered medium stak but it cooked medium rare. Too expensive for not good taste at all. We went there so many times but this time we are so disappointed. Never ever eat there again.
Dirty wine glass replaced by another dirty wine glass. Dirty plate. Half enough menus.
Our food was delicious, the service was prompt. We had a wonderful meal.
Server was very nice but quality of food, service on getting the basics like water & warm bread lagged & overall just a bad experience.
Great Christmas Day option to add to the experience of the Aerial Tram and State Park!
All in all nice. Food was good, not great, but good. Above average service. Very nice view of the Coachella Valley.
This is a nice restaurant with a spectacular view of the Chochella valley. It takes a ride up the Palm Springs tram to get there, but its really worth it!
Our server was very attentive and friendly. I had to remind the hostess during the meal that we were there for a birthday...I wish those notes made on the reservation site were actually read when they check you in. They did bring out the ordered dessert with Happy Birthday drizzled on the plate rim and a candle, but you still have to pay for it. The brownie sundae was great but pricey for its simplicity. For our dinner, everyone enjoyed what they ordered. It's a nice different kind of place for celebrating, but not somewhere I'd go often because of the cost.
The restaurant was very basic - seemed to be an extension of the cafeteria. Hostess was indifferent and dressed in very casual street clothes. Wait staff was adequate but never made eye contact. The food was poor. 4 people in our party and no one enjoyed their meal - quality of food was subpar. The meal was grossly overpriced. This restaurant is advertised as a fancy high end experience and was extremely disappointing.
We decided at the last minute to do the Palm Springs aerial tram and made reservations at Peaks. You simply can NOT beat the view! The food was excellent and we had fantastic service from Chris. It was a very fun and romantic evening. It does require riding the tram to the top so make sure you take that under consideration. Our tram wait was 1 hr 30 minutes. Thankfully we knew that when we made our dinner reservations.
My husband and I were celebrating our anniversity, riding the tram and spending the day in the snow. To finish the day, we had dinner at Peaks. Our waitress was very friendly, everything was going wonderful till our food came and the mashed potatoes were cold on both our plates. I informed the waitress and she said she would get us hotter ones. My husband and I told her not to worry because we were trying to cut back on the carbs. Later in our meal, the manager came by to see how our meal was, I told him about the potatoes and he investigated. In the end, 20% was taken off our bill. I appreciate them trying to make our experience a good one.
