A great view, good food and great service. I highly recommend.
Food was mediocre, lighting was almost nonexistent, but it was quiet.
The food was very tasty however prices were rather steep for this type of food selection. Its a nice place to eat for a special occasion, but there is no need for those prices.
Pre cursor to our honeymoon vacation dinner. It was perfect!
Waiter was inattentive. Food was good
Excellent food and superb service. Gotta come back when there’s still light out to enjoy the view.
This was my first time here and was not disappointed at all. Food, service, activities and staff were great. I will be returning very soon. The brownie with ice cream was delicious and so was my dinner. I ordered the meatloaf and my boyfriend ordered the pork chops both plates were delicious.
We were very disappointed in our meals at the Peaks. My Caesar Salad with Chicken as tasteless and the chicken had the texture of tuna fish - the meat fell apart and was mushy. That was not a freshly grilled chicken breast! Service personnel were very nice but slow. We had our meals five minutes before our wine was served. All in all, this experience did not live up to our expectations.
We had a great dinner with friends and a fun ride up the gondola. The lamb was fantastic, as was the Salmon, and the Pork chops. Coming down we had a gorgeous view of the lights of Palm Springs and a rising full moon.
Great time as always at the top of the mountain! The usual restaurant was closed for reservations but the forest view in the other restaurant was pretty nice too!
Food was delicious and was more than enough. If you want dessert, don’t finish your dinner! We couldn’t do both!
Some tasty cocktails too!
Enjoy it all!!!
The peaks restaurant was very nice and our waitress was very friendly! The food was outstanding and it made our anniversary dinner very special.
Visiting from Canada
what a pleasant surprise
given the location and what it takes to get supplies up the mountain, i would have expected mediocre food and maybe marginal service.
it was just the opposite. a very good wine list to start with. not a whole lot of choices but good wines. the service was spot on and the food was very good. given that it was New Years Eve and we were the last one's in the restaurant we didnt feel rushed. WE WOULD ABSOLUTELY DO NEW YEARS EVE AGAIN ON THE TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN.
P.S. the ride down was a real treat. the operator put on some great dancing music and we had the tram rockin' !!
We really enjoyed our evening at the Peaks Restaurant. Everything was exceptional from the service to the food to the ambiance and all staff were so friendly. I understand they will be closing for a renovation, but we will definitely be back once they reopen.
It was the worst restaurant I have even been to. The food was literally the same frozen food they serve at the fast food cafe. The grapes were frozen still! The hamburger was smelly and disgusting. Worst experience ever
The food was really good! I had the meatloaf with Demi glaze sauce and it was “delicious!!” I will definitely go back for more! My actual server could have been a little more attentive but the experience was so great with the ambiance, food and people around me that it didn’t even matter much by the end. I didn’t tip as well as I might have for that very reason but I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant! I would definitely go back and plan to do so!
My only wish is that they would serve dinner entrees during lunch hours!
Getting up to the top of the Mountain was an ordeal. Word of warning, Christmas holiday week is very busy. Plan accordingly. Food was good and the staff were amazing. The view of Coachella Valley from the Restaurant was beautiful especially at night.
Our first camping trip together! ❤️
Our server was fabulous however the gentleman that delivered the food literally tossed our bruschetta on the table and the tomatoes of one of them all flew off onto the table and we all said oh and he said sorry and left. Not oh I am so sorry let me get you another one and then we complained to our server and he offered to get us another one and we said no but I would have expected that they take it off our bill and they didn’t.
We do love the restaurant and the experience but were definitely disappointed.
Food very expensive and just so so. Service very poor
We loved this place! Mgr. Marina and Christine were lovely....food was yummy! Definitely worth a visit again and again
Wonderful and attentive server. Food was great and the view was wonderful. I had the salmon salad, which was tasty. The strawberry dressing was very refreshing.
Food is delicious, waiters took a long time to bring water or to acknowledge our presence. Once he came it got much better. It beautifully decorated for Christmas 😀
We enjoyed our 45th Anniversary at the Peaks restaurant.
An awesome view and the food was wonderful. We started by splitting a wedge salad which was the best I have ever had. I had the filet mignon cooked perfectly and my beautiful wife had pasta which was really good. She enjoyed the bread pudding for desert; while I had a sundae.
The tram ride up was exhilarating and the ride down in the dark was fun. The tram attendant had us sing songs which distracted everyone and made the ride enjoyable.
The tram up the mountain is a wonderful experience and the best way to top it off is to enjoy dinner at the Peaks.

Our Annual anniversary celebration… We go up the tram every year to have dinner at peaks and the experience always is even better than we remember it being the last time… The food is wonderful the service is excellent and it makes for a memorable evening!
You can't beat the view! Service was a little slow but the food was good for the price
We were celebrating a birthday and chose Peaks restaurant because it advertised fine dining and great views. What a disappointing experience! The restaurant is dated and deteriorating, food was served cold/undercooked on butcher paper over a linen tablecloth. The friendly staff were no compensation for the overpriced menu and worst of all was the disgusting restrooms, which are desperately in need of remodeling and sanitation. I would not recommend the Peaks restaurant, this the furthest thing from fine dining and more like false advertising. Disgraceful!
It is hard to beat a Tram ride to the top of a mountain and dine at 8000+ft. The service was a little slow, but the wait was worth it. The night we visited was busy and I recommend having reservations as many others did not have them and were turned away.
We loved our experience! The reason for the adequate food rating was due to almost raw pork which was a problem with others that night. However, I feel that it was an isolated case in which they comped that dish.
Worth it for the view but I wouldn't go back just to eat at this restaurant.
Great Experience, Service was very friendly and the view was spectacular. Definitely an experience to repeat.
Great spot for a date great ride to restaurant, great seating, food very good, service was a tad slow but didn’t dampen the evening.
Christine and Tommy took provided attentive service...amazing views, good portions, and romantic ambiance!
Food was good. Dessert was just OK. View was amazing!
Worth eating here after exploring the area. Tram ride up and down is cool and food was prepared solidly.
My husband and I had a lovely time at Peaks. Our table was on a raised area offering a wonderful view from 8000+ feet. The restaurant is a quiet escape from the rest of the busy mountaintop. We had the hummus and olive tapenade appetizer and veggie burgers - all delicious.
Had a wonderful waiter, the view and food was amazing! Recommend the steak sandwich, butter cake and sangria!
The view was amazing. Our waiter was out of the word (sorry - cannot remember your name). He was tall, wore glasses and short/shaved hair. Anyhow - we had a wonderful time.
After we were seated for five minutes the server came over and took a cocktail order which took 10 minutes to arrive. I had the wedge salad chopped excellent. My second course was the linguine which was swimming in a pesto sauce such a turn off . My two guest had similar experiences with Their meal. My background food and beverage director for Marriott hotels San Francisco retired now
Great view & very friendly staff. Seating was nice & nice to be able to make reservation ahead of time.
Unfortunately, the Rib Eye steak was very chewy & tough for a $40 item. I have had better Rib Eye steaks from Walmart. Sorry.
