Fondé en 1913, le restaurant italo-créole à la gestion familiale Pascal's Manale est situé dans les quartiers chics de la Nouvelle-Orléans. Il est réputé pour son barbecue de crevettes. First time at this iconic restaurant, meeting a long time lover of the location for lunch. Services was excellent, food was solid but nothing special. BBQ shrimp and grits was watery, catfish well fried but sauce was nothing special. Brad pudding was excellent. Oddly the bread, while warm, was rock hard…very atypical for a Brennan’s place. There was a quite pungent smell in the lobby. Hope to return for the oyster bar another time.

Incredibly loud. Had a very pleasant server but she had too many tables and there were long intervals between ordering and receiving food. Never checked about our drinks- but I think she was handling too many tables. I had the grilled fish which was slightly overcooked and the pasta was so bland, I had to use salt and pepper to get any taste. Bread pudding was delicious. Quality of food and service has decreased over past 3-4 years.

I came in for dinner during Restaurant Week and was totally impressed by the stellar food and service! Keith, Casey, and Dante took great care of us and all of the dishes ordered were truly fantastic! Our favorites were the pomodoro bucco, court bouillon, and fish pascal. We will definitely be returning soon!

Ali, thanks so much for scoring us so well AND sharing your wonderful feedback on the cuisine and service. Looks like you elected to try the Restaurant Week 3-course dinner menu. That Pomodoro Buco stuffed with the burrata and ricotta over polenta with the veal au jus, just speaks to my soul! SOOO good. Went this Sunday 6/15/2025 for Father’s Day.I have been to this restaurant many many times and had great experiences but this time was awful.No one came to our table for 15 minutes no apology or explanation.She took our drink orders and didn’t return for another 15 minutes.Still no bread was delivered.When she finally came back to take our order she neglected to tell us about the specials until I prompted her.Food took 25 minutes to come out and she forgot to bring my wifes salad which took another 15 minutes.When the main Entrees came out my never did.15 minutes later it still hadn’t come out so I cancelled it.I observed the other tables and no one else had the same treatment

Very expensive. $109 for two appetizers two glasses of iced tea and an entrée.

I was very excited to share this place with my husband and had been raving about how good the food and service were from past visits. After a 13 hour drive to make our reservation we arrived to a closed restaurant. Our open table reservation showed we had an active reservation but when we called the restaurant we got an automated message. I left 2 messages and then we returned to our hotel very frustrated, hungry and disappointed. Later that night I received a call from Tony the restaurant manager saying he got my message and they had a power outage and closed the restaurant. He left his number and I contacted him the next day. I told him I was very upset that no one had contacted us. He claimed that they had left a message which I told him I never received. He at no point did he ask if there was anything he could do to make it up to us. He just continued to talk about how much money the restaurant had lost . No focus on us as the customer and if he could book us a reservation at another date. He also continued to stress they had contacted me even though I told him numerous times I received nothing from him or Open Table, so basically called me a liar. The total lack of customer service was shocking and not something I expected from a Brennan property. Based on the lack of empathy, accountability and customer service I have taken them off my list of recommended restaurants and will share with others who visit NOLA.
