When the four of us arrived at 6:30 PM this evening we were told right away that we had only 1 1/2 hour limit at our table.
Service was slow the dinners were very small and the service was horrible. We ordered drinks it never showed up.
By the time we were done two hours in 10 minutes had passed, I wonder what our penalty was?
I don’t plan to go back to this restaurant anytime soon, though I’ve had many wonderful evenings there with amazing service. I wonder what went wrong ?
Mathew is a great server, we enjoyed the dinner and felt very comfortable
always an amazing experience from the setting to the food and amazing service. been loving this place for over 20 years!
Our party of 4 had a wonderful
Enjoyed Sunday brunch with cocktails to start. We had great service and the food was delicious. Happy to be back and look forward to coming again.
What a great experience! Beautiful, welcoming, great food and drink options and just a relaxing atmosphere that made this a great Brunch experience.
Took my mom for brunch at Patagary’s. Great food, drinks, and ambience. My first tine there for brunch, but enjoyed dinner there several times. My mom enjoyed her first time there and loved the food. Friendly and attentive service. Thank you!
Fantastic ! Love the ambiance... the outside patio is totally worth the wait :)
Great service! Thank you again!
The ambiance and service was outstanding! Best vibe. Unfortunately, the food quality went down.
Everything was excellent
The patio in the back is gorgeous and offers a very nice place to eat.
I made a reservation and requested a table in the outdoor space. When we arrived, we were told that outside tables were first come first served. They had one outside table left that they found for us but I was surprised that the reservation would not have guaranteed that. The food was good. The cocktails were well made. The wine list is limited and the gelato on the dessert menu was overly sweet and not edible.
My husband and I had a wonderful dinner on the pretty patio with well spaced tables. We both had the mushroom bisque - very good. I had halibut -- perfectly cooked and with interesting pasta and vegetable puree. My husband a tuscan salami pizza. We shared a pear crusted with lavender ice cream. The whole meal and experience was a great treat after being at home so much.
Get experience as always, the food was absolutely amazing and the service was 1000x better.
We had a great server who was very quick and attentive!! The food was amazing! We ordered the streak and the chicken 10/10!!
The staff made our anniversary dinner a special event.
The food was delicious, the staff was courteous, friendly and professional and we love going there for dinner.
Be happy i took the time to do the stars! A written comment should be optional.
Great food and service. But both of our entrees came out on cold plates and the food wasn’t hot. Too bad -
As distraction from an otherwise enjoyable experience
I enjoy the ambiance of the outdoor patio. Salmon was excellent!
Fantastic meal. Very enjoyable atmosphere and service. Definitely stopping again.
We ate at Paragary's for Easter brunch. Service was prompt and friendly. The leg of lamb and the asparagus salad were standouts. The restaurant was visually beautiful inside and outside.
We always look forward to going to Paragary's. The downtown is our favorite location, although we're driving from Rancho Cordova. We know that the service, food and ambiance is consistently good.
We had an excellent Easter Brunch here it was a little chilly that morning but we had a perfect spot in front of the fire place with wine🥰
The brunch menu was also excellent. The assorted pastries to start off was very good second we had smoked trout on toast and asparagus with prosciutto and the main course was eggs Benedict and Dungeness crab scramble with roasted potatoes
Were cooked perfectly! This patio garden is cozy, romantic and beautiful and the services we had was excellent as well🥰! We look forward to make our next reservation here again ! Thank you
Amazing cocktails and great bar service.
Appreciate bartender's recommendations and craft cocktails.
We've been going crazy not having our date night on Saturdays for dinner. So when restaurants started opening again, I reserved Paragary. I thought I reserved the atrium but alas did not. The service was FABULOUS. I love the tile floors too.
We started with the burrata salad with grilled bread...delicious. Then had the salmon chowder that was tasty. My husband ordered the salmon special and I ordered the spaghetti with Dungeness crab with English peas and a lemon sauce. The salmon was awesome but the spaghetti did not have the flavorful sauce I was expecting. I had to ask for a side of grated Parmesan, thus the 4 star review.
For dessert we split was a Meyer lemon ice cream sandwich. The ice cream was delicious but the cookie itself was very chewy, almost underbaked but maybe not. I was just expecting either a crisp cookie or a soft cookie.
We will go back but will sit in the atrium area and not order the pasta.
was our 38th year anniversary I requested seats on the patio and was told that they couldn't guarantee that but when they went to seat us was at totally inferior table nowhere near the patio was practically in tears and my husband was ready to leave and go to any other restaurant but we stayed and the evening was rescued by our waiter David who took special care of us
We came here to celebrate our 57th Anniversary, made reservation a week ahead of time and when we got there we were told we had to wait and gave reason as to "first come first served" When we were seated, the service was extremely slow and the waiter "Nick" told us it was because of new personnel in the kitchen. One hour before we got our meal!
At the end of our meal Nick brought us a 1/2 grass of Champagne...sorry, I thought Paragary's would have more class than that.
So much for "Special Occasion" that you advertise!
We had a wonderful time. Came down from Grass Valley for dinner. Will do it again.
Incredible food, incredible patio, great weather. What more could you want for a birthday celebration.
The food was great as usual and the service was excellent. Always a "go to" place for a beautiful evening out with my wife.
This is one of my favorite places in Sacramento, and come here often. The food is consistently great, the back patio is lively and beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. The salmon and steak are always perfect, so I highly recommend either of those choices!
Paragary's hasn't lost a step in their fine dining game in the pandemic months! The service at Midtown was exceptional. The food was better than I remembered, and the ambience (we ate outdoors on the back patio) was mellow; not too loud and appropriately spaced tables. Looking forward to returning again soon!
When I booked my reservation, I reserved patio seating. As I walked through the door, the manager stood there staring down at his phone and tablet, without greeting us. After waiting 5 minutes and staring right at the manager on his phone who was blatantly ignoring us, the hostess comes and asks if we have a reservation. I responded with our name and reservation time. She goes to pick up menus and tells the manager that she is going to sit us at a table on the patio. The manager responded “No. They are not going to sit there. The patio reservation is not guaranteed and we will make more money off a 4 top than a 2 top table, you can sit them inside if they want to eat here”. It was disrespectful, rude and unprofessional. We decided to give the restaurant a chance still after the managers unprofessionalism and waited 30 minutes even though we had a reservation for a patio table. Once we sat down, the server was okay... not the best, but good enough to bring us our food and take our order. The food was terrible, my boyfriend got the waygu beef and it was beyond salty, we could not even eat it. I do not recommend this restaurant at all, the only nice and enjoyable thing in the patio ambience. Very disappointing.
Out server was wonderful and the food was absolute delicious!! We were so happy to be able to enjoy a dining experience that was especially fabulous after being in COVID lockdown. Thank you!!!
Wonderful experience from start to finish. Food was great!
Great staff from the host, bartender and waiter. Awesome patio with great ambiance and food is great. I had the breakfast burrito. Would recommend!
We had a great time, we went at brunch and the food was great! Our waitress was so friendly and inviting. Definitely will be coming back.
Went for Sunday brunch. Three of us shared a delicious and huge cinnamon roll, then had two different versions of eggs Benedict and a breakfast burrito, plus shared a short stack of lemon ricotta pancakes. Everything was perfectly prepared and brought piping hot! Our server was very friendly and attentive. The staff seemed somewhat overworked, but we fond that to be common during these pandemic days. We will return for dinner.
