Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Paragary's in Midtown Sacramento consistently offers "fantastic food and excellent service" with an inviting ambiance. Diners appreciate the "serene" atmosphere, especially on the charming patio. While the "broccolini and goat cheese pizza" impresses, the menu could use more variety. The "attentive staff" contributes to memorable dining experiences, perfect for special occasions or casual outings.

Brunch was disappointing. They were out of two items we ordered; the cinnamon roll and the spinach & mushroom quiche. (We had a 12:45PM reservation.) The eggs on the eggs benedict were so undercooked the whites were watery (runny). The smoked salmon toast was loaded with cream cheese but had very little smoked salmon. Service was slow but they managed to get us on the patio so we were ok to wait a bit. I will go back because I'm hoping this was an anomaly.

Great ambience for a nice Sunday brunch. The service was very slow. We sat down a little after noon. We asked for water and that took over 20 minutes! By the time we got our coffee, we had been there about a half an hour. My friend and I both decided on the eggs Benedict. That took almost 30 minutes! So over an hour after sitting down, the food came out lukewarm and the poached eggs were really undercooked. Most of the whites were just past clear! 🫤 It was our first time there. Great feel and ambiance as I said before but the food was underwhelming. I appreciated our server, David. It wasn’t all his fault but we only saw him twice during all that time and he wasn’t even the one who brought our food. There’s too many brunch spots in Sac to rush back to this one.

The mushroom salad was fabulous. Butter leaf lettuce also. The wine is very expensive: $62 for a $20 retail bottle of Chardonnay. Entree choices are limited. Very good ambience.
