Very good food - very good service - great view
A bit pricey and a bit noisey
Actually prefer the ambiance for lunch
We were seated immediately, service from valet to wait staff were awesome. Our table was practically on the beach, so we were happy. The drinks selections were ok, could be better. Food was good. Will be back.
We had a wonderful dinner! We never made it past the list of great appetizers the restaurant has, webwill save the entrees for a future visit!😉
Rolls and potstickers and drinks were ok
Short ribs were dry and potatoes undercooked
Salmon and sea bass were great
Server was great
Spending time with friends - awesome - paid to dine on the beach
Went for the view and atmosphere. Unfortunately, there were a couple of large parties near us, so the sound level was a bit much.
They lost our reservation, and the upstairs patio was booked for a wedding which they didn’t tell me when I called. Downstairs dining area lighting is too bright.
I got compliments from everyone on selecting this restaurant. All the meals were thoughtfully prepared and the view was incredible.
An excellent place for Sunday Brunch! Our party of four found the menu to include many delicious variations on 'traditional' brunch classics. The macadamia crusted crab cake benedict was well received.
A great value, especially its location on the beach.
We went to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. The staff was extremely friendly, food and drinks were delicious, we had a nice seat overlooking the ocean and we received a free dessert for our special occasion. It was a very nice evening and we will definitely be back again.
The staff the food and ambiance is awesome.
Wonderful as always. We have yet to be disappointed by the food or service.
I have been to this restaurant many times and have always loved it however when we were there last night for dinner we ordered the Seabass special which was $40 and it was served on top of a lobster risotto, all of it was delicious but I will tell you the size of the Seabass was no bigger than 2 x 2 it was the smallest piece of fish I’ve ever been served in my life and while I know it’s not a large piece what they served was absolutely ridiculous ! So make sure that if this happens to you you send it back because for $40 it was completely unreasonable.
So noisy we could not hear each other in a booth. Need sound diffusers somehow. Would not go back when meeting and trying to catch up with friends
Loved the food and you can go for a walk on the beach right there▪︎
It was my birthday and they acknowledged it. The server let us take our time, always saying no hurry to order and no hurry to leave, even though the place was wonderfully packed. The food was fabulous. And our server was very handsome. They brought us a small dessert to share and lit a candle. Lovely.
A friend and I went to PCG to honor a close friend’s birthday...she died earlier this year. We ordered mimosas and her favorite Seafood Cobb Salad and even tried the seafood chowder. All was excellent. We were able to reminisce on the patio with gentle ocean breezes. Thank you!
Great view, food was delicious & service was prompt.
Friends we have not seen in s while in a great atmosphere with fantastic good!
Excellent food & service ..
Would highly recommend this restaurant for a special dinner or happy hour in the bar. Great view of the ocean.
We'll be back soon.....
Food was great. We were so happy to get an outside table waiting for the sunset. What you have to realize with the outdoor seat comes direct constant sun at your table. Still love to see the ocean while dining. Just something to think about.
Brunch was wonderful and the view was fantastic! Will return
The worst meal I have had in eight years in San Diego
Despite an initial hiccup with my reservation, the staff really stepped up and made things right! Our server, Adam, was fantastic! Food, service, views.....all top notch! It was a beautiful evening! Thank you PCG :)
Great food great service. Prices are a little high but you get a great view! Will be back
Great food in a phenomenal setting. Always exceptional service.
Shown to our table immediately upon arrival. Noise level uncomfortably loud, making it difficult to converse with people across the table. Waiter was abrupt, rattling off some menu recommendations that we couldn't hear due to the loud ambient noise. Celebrating a birthday, brought some round cake for dessert with four spoons. Waiter never asked if we wanted to order another dessert, another drink or even a cup of coffee. The food was good but not outstanding. There are many seafood restaurants in San Diego area to choose from, especially along S Coast Highway 101. Not sure I'll return to PCG.
It was a fun evening. Out waiter was excellent and kept checking on us.
Great view, delicious food , outstanding service!
We look forward to going back soon.
Amazing food, service and views! Celebrated my son’s 20th birthday!
Great food and service. Unbeatable view. Outstanding fish.
Food was well presented but bland. Service was good but not extraordinary. They had a ton of wait staff present, but most were standing around looking useless. Our waiter did a good job of being patient with the older folks in our party. The real attraction is the ocean, whihc is free if you bring your own sandwich and sit outside.
Excellent brunch and service today. The menu variety is very nice and we will be back to sample more delicious meals. Keep up the good work!
Excellent lunch with a beautiful view!!
The food was terrible! I ordered the seafood cobb and the shrimp was mushy and tasted bad. Three out of the four diners had stomach issues after we left. The server was apologetic and bought us something us but the cost of the nice ocean view was definitely not worth the bad lunch! There are many other better choices.
As always the experience was outstanding. We had Yette as a server and she was terrific. You can't beat the view and the filet sliders and truffle fries are the best!
This place is right on the ocean. Beautiful location and indoor and outdoor seating. The service was impeccable. The entrees were amazing. The appetizers were just Ok. The lobster shrimp chowder was also delicious. U can't go wrong at this place. Great ambiance. The bar is also very good.
Wanted a nice family dinner the night before we took our daughter to college. We enjoyed the food and the ambience. Friendly and courteous staff.
We sat by a window overlooking the beach/ocean which was delightful at sunset. We were in a room with a table of 14 men who were often very loud. The food was well prepared and delicious. Service was excellent and very nice to have Valet car service on site. We recommend the PCG very highly.
