   Really fantastic brunch service. Food was delicious, service (Zack) was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Went the extra mile to acknowledge our special occasion (thank you, Carlos!). Gorgeous views - very special experience.

   Visiting from DC. Had high expectations for a great seafood dinner. Great service and great view. Overall the food was not good . Salads (grape pear) were soggy, ahi tuna was cold and not fresh. 2 huge chunks that tasted like they were sitting in soggy water. Waiter informed us that chef would not cook the tuna medium rare. It came out just how he cooks it. Grouper was overdone (although good flavors). Wine (Bella Gloss) was priced reasonably but served warm

   We had a delightful meal celebrating our 35-year wedding anniversary. Service was on-point, with thoughtful recommendations throughout. My wife started her meal with the Orange Sriracha Shrimp, which she loved. I had a half-dozen oysters of various geographic origin. The chef's special preparation was spectacular! We shared a grilled Caesar Salad, which could have benefitted from more time on the grill. We shared the Halibut and Miso, which was flavorful, expertly prepared, and substantial enough for two. Desserts included the "Sticky Pudding" for me and the Creme Brulee for my wife. We had cocktails, including a excellent Smoked Old Fashioned and wine with dinner, including a Marlborough, NZ Sauvignon Blanc, which was exceptional. Wonderful meal all around.

   Brunch Entrees arrived before Appetizers. Waiter was disheveled and looked sloppy. Food runner appeared unprofessional as well. Not enough waitstaff to provide adequate service levels. Food and bisque was barely luke warm. Sushi rolls seemed like they were made hours ago (like a Publix quality roll) and didn’t arrive with chopsticks or soy dipping sauce. No ice tea refills, even after being asked. The view was nice but the restaurant is outdated, scruffy, and not up to par. Doors and wall paint are soiled. Shutters for bathroom doors are tacky. Will not come back.

   The food was very poorly prepared and tasted bad, most particularly the Crab and Lobster Omelette which was rubbery and bitter and even had a vinegar taste that was offensive. The calamari was better but again the meat was tough and rubbery. The crab cakes on the crab cake Benedict were small and almost unable to be seen. The best part of that meal was the poached eggs which were prepared nearly perfect. The service was adequate but not exceptional. Overall the experience was disappointing and we most likely would not return.

   The waiter told us right away not to order the grouper. Apparently, the manager, chef, and waiter are not on the same page. That’s not a good way to begin a dining experience. My wife ordered the red snapper with rice. The rice was undercooked and tasted cheap… like the chef didn’t know how to cook rice or left it out too long. The worst part… I ordered surf and turf. Wagyu steak and shrimp. The waiter asked me how I wanted my steak prepared. I said medium rare. He asked me to define that to be clear. I said “hot, pink center”. He said, then you should probably do medium. I said fine. The steak was NOT Wagyu and the chef left it on way too long. Came out very brown and dry. Looked and tasted like cheap chuck roast. One bite and I sent it back. Manager came over and apologized, but the waiter and chef again are not on the same page. I do not recommend Oystercatchers.

    No one was at the valet. Waited 5 minutes and finally my husband went inside and got the valet. Poorly greeted by hostess. So our first impression was negative. Once we were seated everything from then on was exceptional: the service, the view, and the food! Just need to improve initial contact with customers.

    We hadn’t been here in a number of years. Took our family for Mothers Day dinner. The table and views were great. Our server was very good. But food quality was awful. My fish was not prepared properly, was a thick piece and was both mushy and stringy, tasteless. Thankfully our server took it off the bill. My 3 shrimp cocktail were tough and sinewy and not enjoyable. Desserts were good I expect a seafood restaurant to have quality seafood and Oystercatchers did not. Sad

    This has normally been a place we have enjoyed dining, so decided to make reservations for Mothers Day. They had a modified menu for the occasion that left a bit to be desired in terms of variety. In addition, our service was much slower than we have typically experienced and the food was just average.     Ambience nice had window view to the Bay. The food is to pricey for what is being served. The bisque was $16 which should be priced at $6 and scallops were not seasoned well. The bread should be served hit for the price they charge at Carrabba’s they serve hot Sourdough bread and scallops are seared and seasoned. When seated there was food on the floor that should’ve been cleaned up before we were seated. Waiters not paying attention too cleaning the areas.

    Went for brunch on Mother’s Day… didn’t seem too busy for the holiday. The food was good but took about 45 min to come out. The server told us 15 min after we ordered something that they were out of the item (it was something we planned to share, so we didn’t order anything in place of it). The server barely came to the table. I hope they bring the buffet back because having to order instead of helping yourself was an awful experience.

    We had reservations but still had to wait so I ordered a dirty martini from the bar. The bartender took my order, pulled out a frozen glass, then ran off and came back and issued someone a check and gave other people silverware. I wasn’t sure if she forgot about me. I waited almost 10 min before she made my drink and it was wrong. $23 for a dirty martini. Def not worth it. The service from wait staff was good and our food came fast however the food was nothing special. My husband had the grouper and it was flavorless. I had the lobster gnocchi and it was ok. The mac n cheese side was dry and not edible. The Brussels looked like chicken wings but were pretty good but I’ve had better. We didn’t complain just chalked it up to a lesson learned. It def screams hotel restaurant. Overall this place is not worth the hype or $. It’s a pretty atmosphere. Go for drinks and a salad at sunset but I wouldn’t waste $ on entrees.

    Limited menu. Ordered seafood trio. The lobster was extremely disappointing as it tasted like paste. A party of 3 and our bill was $258. Certainly overpriced for the value. A new chef who is from Italy and didn’t offer any menu items “blackened.”

    The restaurant we tried to get into was booked until very late. We picked this on a whim and did not know what to expect. When we pulled into a hotel we almost left and went elsewhere. ham so glad we did not. This restaurant is on a separate property and the service and food were spectacular. Complements to the entire staff. This was a perfect evening.

    The food flavor was not worth the money. My pork shank tasted like a pot roast with no flavor. Sea food trio had nothing to it portion wise. They could add a side to complete the meal. Brussel spouts we’re delicious Waiter/staff were very friendly and helpful

    Always a favorite of ours! We had delicious appetizers-cheese board, bread and oysters. Then we shared the lobster crab bisque and had the special yellowtail snapper for our entree. Amazing! For dessert we enjoyed decaf coffee, their perfect key lime pie and also an amazing coffee cheesecake. It’s such a great restaurant and we are seafood snobs, so we appreciate that they serve the real deal every time.

    Oystercatchers is a great seafood restaurant. Not stuffy, but open and airy. The service was excellent. Our waiter was exceptionally well versed on every dish we asked about and even steered us away from one as it just wasn't looking right to him that night. The brussel sprouts were excellent. The tuna was even better. The charred octopus topped it all. Highly recommend.

    My little sister was in town for vacation. I brought her here for dinner since I've always had a great meal any time I've been to Oystercatchers. The crab cakes are awesome. So was the lobster gnocchi.

    I was a little concerned about the potential experience after reading some of the negative reviews. But we had a fantastic experience. Our server Max made the evening for us. He was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable and lots of fun. The food was well made, flavorful and attractively presented. The serving staff backed one another and made for a very pleasant evening. Whenever we're in Tampa we'll be back.

    Arrived 15 mins early. Wasn’t busy. Rude hostess told us we would have to wait until our reservation time to be seated after waiting 10 mins. Came back 5 min later and was told the table wasn’t ready. After being seated we waited 15 mins to get a server to our table. He took our drink order and our meal order. Barely saw the guy after. Our meal took about 40 mins to come out and we got our drinks right before. Very limited menu and was surprised at the time it took to get our meal. Def not the oystercathcher I remember. Won’t be returning.
