After years of wanting to try it, I finally booked a reservation—for myself—for my birthday, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I believe my server’s name was Selene, and they were truly exceptional. I was a bit nervous going in since I’d never been to Afternoon Tea before, and I was going solo. Selene immediately made me feel welcome and completely at ease. They walked me through the entire process, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable and cared for throughout. The tea: bottomless. The food: divine. The service: perfection. It was such a special experience, and I can’t wait to come back—next time with friends and family to share this gem of a place. We enjoyed each course—from the popovers, peas, pastas, to the granitas and dessert. The strawberry cake was the best cake my wife has ever had 😀! We enjoyed the 70s decor and music as it transported us back to fond memories of more peaceful times. We don’t dine out often, but what makes Don’s standout is culinary skill and attention to detail combined with passion to make each customer feel special.
