Hostess received bribe from customer to be seated before patrons with reservations. I saw the exchange and the hug, exchange of money and interaction between the hostess and the customer that bribed her. This is unacceptable. We had reservations at 7:30 and was not seated until 8:15

Drinks were spilled, service was awful. Food was tasteless. Drink service was slow. It was my birthday and it was spoiled because of the terrible service and they spilled drinks 2x; as well as overpriced tasteless food. What a waste.

Had not been to this location in 2 years but it is impressive to notice how the customer service and staff competence has declined. We were sat down at our table at 9:00 pm and a chef wasnt assigned to us until after 45 to 50 minutes later. On top of that the lady taking our order forgot to bring out the steamed rice ahead of time and disnt bring it until after we were almost done eating. She also did not capture my daughters chicken order and had to request it after the fact. It was a party of 6 and ended up paying $304 not including tip. All that money to end up with people in my party complaining how they were not even full. I completely regret going there and a lot of years will go by before I ever go again.

It was by far the worst dining experience I ever had. This was a special occasion and I made reservations ahead of time. My family and I have been here before and had a great time. This time not even close. The hostess argued with me about seating and we were sat in a room by the sushi bar. No cook no interaction, horrible experience. We were supposed to be outside on the patio. Also, my daughter is highly allergic to gluten, we let our server know in advance. She ordered the gluten free fried rice to play it safe and she was ill almost immediately. This was my sin's 8th grade graduation dinner and he requested to go Here. We won't be returning.

We have been going to Benihana for years. It has always been one of our favorite restaurants. This experience has changed our feelings about it in a dramatic way. First of all we were seated off the main restaurant, in a side area that had three cooking stations. The noise level was outrageous. We could talk to each other without shouting. It literally hurt my ears. Secondly, the amount of food we received was minuscule compared to what it used to be every other time we visited. We both ordered Land and Sea(Steak and Scallops). The shrimp appetizer amounted to six tiny shrimp pieces. The fried rice was the traditional amount but was under seasoned and had noticeably almost no chicken in it. The Scallops amounted to 5 tiny sea scallops that looked more like bay scallops. The amount of zucchini was pitiful. There were very, very few mushrooms. There were plenty of onions. Thirdly, the quality of the cooking was horrible. The entire meal was over cooked. As I said, the fried rice, which has always been a highlight, was bland and almost tasteless. The shrimp, chicken(my son’s meal), mushrooms and zucchini were all cremated. The chef appeared extremely inexperienced. While he was very friendly, he talked too much and didn’t pay attention to what he was doing. At this point I doubt we will ever go back to Benihana, again. It has been my experience that when a restaurant starts cutting quality and service, they never come back. Fred Rynearson

Used to love Benihana, but it's just not the same anymore. Brought friends for the hibachi experience, and it was disappointing. Staff were visibly upset, the chef struggled with the performance, and the food quality and portions have gone downhill. Way overpriced for what we got. Sadly, none of us plan to return.

We had a 6:00 pm reservation and didnt get seated unil 6:40. The lobby as usual was packed with people waiting. 90 degees in there. When we finally got seated waited another 20 mins for drink orders. And this is pretty standard lately. I hope they fix it cause im not going back.

We made reservations for nine family members in the early evening on a weekend. We showed up a little early and were seated promptly. The wait staff and chef were very nice and made the evening special as we celebrated a birthday. It was fun to hear Happy Birthday sung in Japanese by our hostess. The food and drinks were delicious and refreshing. The filet mignon was melt in your mouth tender and everyone who ordered it was talking about it after we left the restaurant. This is a great restaurant for special occasions and I'm certain that we will return in the future.

Had an 8:00pm reservation and was not seated until 9:00pm. I understand things happen, but there was little to no communication about the issue. I could have saved time and changed plans if I was told they were running an hour behind schedule, even for reservations.

Experience was great, but it took a long time to get seated. They were running behind 45 minutes. It made it be late. Another thing that I had to do for my birthday. Also tried to use my birthday certificate that they give you and cannot use it on Friday or Saturday or Sunday, which I had no idea so I had to come. I have to come back to use it Monday through Thursday, which it was the purpose of going there was with my family and enjoying my birthday. Thank you.
