   Our chef Shane was amazing! What a great experience, food was phenomenal, he was super interactive and really great and engaging with the little girl we had at our table. I plan to request him every time we’re there. And our waitress Chelsea was great as well, super attentive and kind and funny! Love them both!

   Had reservations at 6:15 didn’t get seated until 7:30pm. The cook was friendly but not engaging like they normally are with all their cool tricks and interacting with the guests

   Our reservation was at 830, we were not sat till after 910. Once sat we got drinks and waited another 30+ minutes for a waitress and cook. We were told multiple times they were short staffed, computer issues, not enough tables and more. We were very polite about all of this even though we were celebrating a birthday. During the meal one of the main items was missed divided and had to be remade ( Rocky’s choice and chicken was skipped) we were informed that only sherbert and green tea were available and yet we were still accepting and understanding, but at the end of the meal I tried to use my $30 birthday coupon on my $141 meal and was denied…because it’s Friday. No way I was put through all of that and still they refused to accommodate us in any way and it ruined my birthday which had already been terribly and I was literally taking myself out and they couldn’t help us at all. I almost don’t want to ever come back and my family and I have been coming to Benihanas for years.

   We had a 7:30 reservation and was told they were running an hour behind. We were told that it’s typical for them to overbook the restaurant now because corporate wants to show higher numbers. Not good!

   We had a 7:00 reservation on a Thursday night. Our cook didn’t START until 8:40. They apologized but we all had work the next day and didn’t leave until almost 10.

   Reservations was at 6:30PM. We did not get a chef to our table until 8PM. Portion for yakisoba which we eat on a regular basis was half portion. All menu items had a $3-5 increase. Terrible experience compared to pasta. We have decided to try other options moving forward.

   We had a great experience with a wonderful chef, particularly entertaining, a two-year-old at the table Our only trouble was with a senior guest and hearing issues . The noise level was pretty intense at times for him. House, the restaurant emptied out, and the tables opened up of course this  improved significantly Not sure how this could be better controlled

   Chef Alexis was incredible. He helped us celebrate our daughter’s birthday with the perfect mix of humor, kindness, and witty charm. We actually remembered each other from a visit nearly a year ago, and the energy was just as great this time around. I really appreciated his attentiveness and just the right touch of light sarcasm—it made the whole experience feel fun and memorable. Even the moments of “hotness” became part of the comedy, which we loved. The wagyu options on the menu were top-tier, especially the American ribeye. Chef Alexis prepared it perfectly. My entire family was pleased—not just with the food, but with the overall vibe. We’ll absolutely be back—and next time, we’re requesting Chef Alexis or Alex :). No question.

    We waited a long time for the cook to come. The meat portions are small - do NOT order the fried rice with Wagyu beef - as it is a very small portion of meat that you pay $21.00 for. The seafood melody was also disappointing as I had to hunt to see if the scallops were in there - and I guess they were. Finally, IF you have a birthday notice - look on the email as it says WAY down the disclaimers that it is only good Monday - Thursday for dinner - and I went on a Sunday not knowing the $30.00 coupon was invalid until the check came. Check before you go in to order.
