Die besten Restaurants, für die sich eine lange Anfahrt lohnt, in Beaverton

Service and atmosphere was great. We felt like the steak frites (especially the steak was not up to par compared to what weve come to expect there). The steak came out cold (lukewarm) and a but under cooked. As we look forward to the steak frites the most this was disappointing. Otherwise, everything else was great. Tough to see the food quality diminish slightly.

We’ve been eating at this restaurant for 20 years and there’s a reason for that. The servers always remember us and that adds to the experience. The food is always good, although some meals are better than others. The prices have gone up recently and so we were a little hesitant but the meals blew us away (Wild Boar Lasagne and Seafood Risotto). There is a family vibe there that we don’t experience at the other restaurants near us. Outdoor seating is a huge bonus too.

Salty's has, in our opinion, the best view in town. I just wished the food was reliably good. Today I had oysters as an appetizer, the wedge salad and the prim rib sandwich. Everything was good. However, my wife had the warm seafood salad and the steelhead was raw (we cook a lot of fish and there really is no excuse for a fish house to serve raw, not sushi grade, fish. The server took the raw fish and brought two prawns as a substitute - but the meal experience for her was already set to disappointing and, sadly, we have been disappointed by the food more times than not (and we've been going there for years). The coffee was excellent and the servicer was first rate. All things considered, today I would give it 4.5 stars for service and 2 stars for food quality/value. We will likely go back but it will be primarily for the view, and hope we get lucky with the food quality. I told my wife on the drive home, if Salty's could get there kitchen's act together it would be a top destination restaurant.

The perfect spot for a girlfriend lunch. Two of us shared a feature salad and one of the juiciest burgers I’ve had in ages. All-day breakfast for those who want it, with a generous dollop of homemade jam that was licked clean. Excellent service!
