Excellent Brunch! Food was delicious! We had the hash, and the baked eggs w. sausage. Couldn't decide which one we liked the most! Also, the chicory salad was perfect, and a huge portion. More than enough for 2. The service was great, and lots of precaution with covid social distancing.
We sat in the Atrium, which was light and bright with high ceilings, and people very well spaced apart.
We had a wonderful experience!
Food and Service was sublime. The outdoor seating was nice only complaint was It was to little dark. Would be nice with more lighting and had a train go by so little unlucky with that in regards to train horn. But would highly recommend.
It’s always a treat to visit Portland and stop in at Olympia Provisions. The food and hospitality are amazing and make for a phenomenal experience.
The beef tartare is a MUST.
Charcuterie board was surprisingly mundane given that this is their specialty. Both of our main dishes were not great given the prices. I had planned on spending a some money on a nice meal, but the food was not worth it.
In a word .... DELICIOUS!!!!!
Delightful meal, excellent attentive service, wonderful wine selection by the glass and bottle, just a totally enjoyable dinner.
Enjoyed a great lunch at an outside table on the sidewalk. Great food as usual, and very attentive service done right! These guys really get how to create a safe experience for both employees and customers. Can’t wait to go back.
First time eating at this location. Outside dining on a warm fall evening was perfect! The food is so well crafted. Charcuterie board is always a must. So divine! Their take on a Caesar salad with chicories was delicious. We also both enjoyed our house cocktails with bourbon! Amazing meal.
We booked brunch, arrived with a reservation and sat outside. This was our first time at Olympia Provisions SE. Terrific food, best eggs bene. I've ever been served. Because it was our first time there the wait staff were frustrated that we did not know to go into the building through a door that does not sit adjacent to the outdoor seating. They rolled their eyes at us and everyone else that found it confusing. I know this world has become almost impossible for folks in the service industry, but we worked in the industry when we were young and are previous restaurant owners. I felt embarrassed and your staff, with the exception of one person, acted defensive, entitled and annoyed with guests during our 10/27/2020 visit. We had been at the Lucia Hotel all weekend where we experienced nothing like this and had a wonderful visit. We won't be back. Franco
Great dinner. Ok service, but understand it is difficult given covid and staffing issues. Overall a great dinner
We had been looking forward to having dinner. But the entrees ended up being very underwhelming. The cioppino was absolutely disappointing. The boards are great as always, and the server was lovely. But we won’t be back for an entree again.
Turned out to be a great day, so we were able to sit outside. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional.
Everything was wonderful; service; ambiance and the food and drinks were so good I hurt because I couldn’t stop eating. We each try different menu items each time we go and we’ve never been disappointed.
Our waitress is hands down the best in Portland, we go out to eat a lot, especially now to support small businesses, and she goes above and beyond to make sure all patrons feel safe while still getting great customer service. I’ve specifically went to the SE location multiple times during Covid because of her service, the fact that they allow dogs in the atrium and of course the delicious food. Thank you for being so amazing!
OP was exquisite as usual. Laser potatoes are the best breakfast potatoes in town. Their Italian sausage is rich and complex with excellent snap. The english muffin was wonderful. Sourdough with a brioche texture. You can never go wrong with OP.
We initially had trouble getting into the building because the outside door was stuck. However, an employee let us in and we were seated right away. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable about the food. We got the French charcuterie board and the Octopus. They were both delicious. I was especially empresses with the wine menu. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Wonderful food and service in a challenging time.
There was a little bit of a wait even with the reservation but the complimentary juice helped. The food was delish. It was a great way to start a Portland vacation.
We’re dined here several times and had a great experience but this time the coffee was cold, English muffin was burnt, the omelette was not how we asked for it. The service was great and the host is wonderful but it was a long weekend and perhaps they weren’t staffed right? I’m not sure what happened
Delightful experience even in these COVID times. We sat outside and had the best brunch we have had in a long time. My husband and I both had the BLT on brioche and can’t wait to go back and have it again! Super yummy!
Excellent service too. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful brunch at Olympia Provisions SE to kickoff our anniversary celebration! While the food and service were superb as usual, the complimentary toast with sparkling rose was a lovely added bonus. The outside seating was great on a sunny Sunday morning, and all the safety protocols made us feel very secure. Just so happy that we can visit one of our fave restaurants again. Thanks for a wonderful time!
Everything was great! The food took a while but the host acknowledged it and gave us some great snacks and coffee to go while we waited. This was an all-around great experience despite COVID.
What do you order when visiting Olympia Provisions? Meat. Meat and cheese. It's their 'jam' and what they do perfectly.
This time, we went with the Spanish board and 3 cheeses. An order of marinated olives, a couple rounds of excellent and stiff drinks, followed by their version of Tiramisu, and you would have the makings of a fine evening, where the food you eat is full of flavor, fresh and satisfying. You'll leave, not stuffed, but satisfied.
The service was excellent. Still amazes me how they remember the specifics of all the items on the table. The 'Covid-19' impacts have been absorbed nicely into Olympia's business. Everyone had masks. Tables are well spaced. The entire environment felt clean, safe and enjoyable, for all.
Absolutely fabulous pre-COVID and now. Will definitely be back again soon. Love that the menu is pretty on par with how it was before. Still had my favorites .
This has become my new ‘go to’ for weekend brunch. Everything was awesome. Started with an Olympia Mary - delicious. Must get the Laser potatoes - Unique take on the potato. And of course their biscuits, meats and charcuterie are fabulous. Nothing was a let down. Highly recommend.
Choose between a strict mask wearing policy OR providing short service. We’re outside wearing masks for crying out loud! Take a moment to remind people why they enjoy eating out!
Service was so slow; our meal took approximately 3 hours.
Took almost an hour to receive our large plate dishes. And the pasta dish was excessively expensive for the difficulty of the dish as well as the portion size. It was $19 for a pasta dish that has a serving size for 1, doesn’t include any meat. And the bread with the steak tartare came out burnt. I’ve been a huge fan of OP since it was first opened but this experience didn’t live up to their usual quality
Amazing! Loved the outdoor feel indoors. Food was exceptional!
Fun meal, excellent cured meats
Drum noise unceasing. Not enough servers. food good enough. quantity not great. I enjoy this restaurant in normal times so I will go again but I was not so pleased this time for the price!
Great food and drinks. Worth a visit for sure if you are into cheese, wine and food.
Great tasting food, and good service. Just a bit of waiting for the server to return on occasion, but good attention when the server was there. Absolutely recommend reservations, and good adjustments to COVID.
You’ll never go wrong with a meal at Olympia Provisions!
Love OP! You guys are awesome. Be safe and we will keep visiting your amazing restaurant! A++++
The biscuits and gravy with perfectly cooked eggs was the highlight of our meal. But you can't go wrong with any of their charcuterie boards.
Food was on point, delicious actually! I would highly recommend! However...... the barking of rules upon checking in was a bit much. When seated at a table I do not appreciate being told to put my mask on when the waiter approaches the table. No other restaurant in all of Oregon has treated us like children! Hopefully this wretched virus will pass soon and this establishment survives. And remembers those that put on their mask!
Stuart was excellent from setting up our reservation to service, offering numerous outstanding recommendations and complementary pairings. We had a wonderful time, with a great amount of effort to keep us safe, socially distanced, and respectful of all of the guests. The food was delicious - bright, flavorful, and beautifully balanced.
Rude service. Wow.
