We had the best time celebrating a birthday with good
friends. It was an excellent choice for Sunday brunch.
We had outstanding service that made the event
extra special. The complimentary cheesecake was so
nice and unexpected. Thanks so much.
We'll be back soon.
Outstanding food, reasonable price. I had no trouble rescheduling when a conflict arose. You could smell the sea food when we entered the restaurant.
Great food and great ambiance. Will definitely dine there again.
Perfect dinner out ! Quiet, friendly, caring and good food !!
The most staffed restaurant in the ST. Louis area. Food and service are always great!
Deliciuio crab risotto. Love their delicious clam chowder. And also their tuna burger was yummy.
Great place for business lunch and a happy hour. Consistently excellent food and well trained staff
It was my 73rd birthday and the service was celebratory and fun. Very professional too. I felt very special.
Beautiful restaurant and the service was great. I liked the food.
Not the best dining experience I’ve had. The restaurant was less than half full when we arrived, and we were seated right next to a wait station with a lot of activity. We asked to move to a different table, and were left standing awkwardly for a minute or two before someone came over to talk with us.
The sea bass was good, the halibut was just OK. The wine menu seemed incredibly overpriced compared to other restaurants we’ve been to in St. Louis. The atmosphere felt very dated; the furniture was beat up, and the ambience did not feel like a mid to upper scale experience.
Our experience overall was just OK. We went to Oceano because it was close to the hotel we always stay at when visiting, but I don’t think we’ll return.
Food and ambience were excellent. Margret’s service was excellent. We would go back for another meal soon.
We had a great time here the food was decent not the best in St.Louis but acceptable. The service was great, and they did a awesome job accommodating us.
We came to Oceano Bistro to celebrate New Years Eve, food and service were fabulous!! We didn’t wait long for our food either. 10/10 would recommend!
Food was so delightful as you could tell from our totally clean plates.
But our server Margaret was OURSTANDING
Delicious food and marvelous service.
Our waiter Jacob was very good provided us with accurate information about the food and the drinks was very attentive to our needs it was great being there.
Always a great choice and this visit was no different.
Celebrated New Years Eve. Food was outstanding.
Enjoyed risotto, salmon, market salad. Excellent
Cory was very attentive and personable!!
Food was amazing. Server Kai was friendly and attentive. Ambience perfect, it was not busy when we were there for lunch.
I’ve gone to this restaurant many times over the years and always had an excellent experience. However this time the service was not up to standard. The waitress forgot the wine then she forgot to bring the soup which then came with the entree . However this will not deter me from returning to Oceana is every other experience was excellent
Oceano had incredible food and incredible service. I was very happy to spend my Christmas Eve there! Get the crab cakes! They're the best!
Food was excellent. One very loud party near us was very annoying. They were so loud I misinterpreted our server’s description of the flounder special and ended up with a plate of green beans. I abhor green beans.
Otherwise, everything was excellent. Probably the best place for fish/seafood in St. Louis.
Great service. Very good food. We were given probably the worst table in the restaurant.
Such a disappointment. If a restaurant takes reservations for 4 PM on Christmas Eve, they had best be staffed to provide excellent service! Margaret, the server, seemed to be the only server working at the time of our reservation. She was nice enough but too rushed - not listening/paying attention, mumbling incoherently from afar, offering up TMI a couple of times and generally just awkward. If your server delivers a check before taking entree orders, more server training is needed. There were multiple confusions/mistakes on her part. And where were the bussers? We waited for water refills a couple times while a gentleman who looked like a busser standing nearby did absolutely nothing, consistently. At one point, we waited nearly 20 min for a second drink while the entire restaurant staff congregated in the kitchen for a pre-dinner service meeting, including a nice visual of staff eating. WTF? The floor manager seemed to be the only member of the staff to recognize there were problems with our dining experience and filled-in where he could. He did also comp two of our beverages. Honestly though, it wasn't enough to overcome the whole of the dining experience. The food was ok - table bread and oil with Harissa was good, Caesar salad was good, shrimp on linguine was perfectly cooked and the tuna was passable. On the flip side, the oysters weren't cut from their shells, crab cakes were mushy, scampi linguini was drowned in too much butter, and a single (1) medium-sized add-on scallop was $16! The restaurant atmosphere was lacking as well - not as clean and well-maintained as one would expect for the location and prices. The view of the dirty kitchen from the back, near the restrooms, was not pleasant. We will not be returning.
Prawns, beet salad and mussels were excellent! Never disappointed!
My favorite for friendliness, food, the kitchen workers, servers. We have been fans fro the moment it opened. A jewel. "Pepe".
Girls Holiday lunch. Was very nice. Our waiter, Vito, was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu.
Great ambiance and delicious, perfectly cooked food. Less $than i was anticipating.
Very nice. Service was good and food was delicious.
Great service and food !!
Wonderful; 4.5 stars if I could. Server was wonderful, but there was a period after the mains were served that it was a long wait for water and check—but really wonderful overall.
Always a wonderful meal, delightful and delicious seafood, service never disappoints.
My husband and I went for dinner. Our waitress, Tia, was outstanding. All food was delicious. The special was a Hawaiian swordfish, which was amazing. Highly recommend and will be back!
Corey was our server and was outstanding. Everything about the meal was perfect.
The food was scrumptious, which is why I went there twice this week! However, during both visits,it felt more like fast food service wise, and not the typical steady but caring service.
Some of the best fish in STL. Sea bass great as halibut.
Really good starters including tuna, crab cakes, shrimp and more.
What a splendid way to celebrate my wife’s birthday! Kai was a wonderful waitress and the food was distinctive and delicious. Most of all the value was there. We ate, had drinks, a complimentary dessert and the evening was not a budget buster. Really nice!
Warm and welcoming
