Typical Hawaiian moderately upscale beach dining. Unfortunately food was only fair and not good value. Don't mind paying three times as much at St. Regis in Princeville because food is really good.
Liked our waitress and enjoyed being right on the beach. Low noise level made it quite a comfortable evening.
Beautiful open air setting in view of the waves breaking on the beach. The food is fairly expensive, but they also offer half portions at half the price. The burger made of locally raised beef was a real hit.
The waiter only took the order, never followed up, never checked our drinks, never asked about our food. He went to his other tables more than 2 or 3 times. We had to go to the front desk to get our check.
Won’t be back.
Great quiet spot on the beach. Their specialty cocktails are well made and the service was prompt and non-intrusive.
We were sat immediately. Service was very prompt and attentive. Food was delicious. The night we went it was raining and windy so the place was buttoned up which made it a little noisy but not bad and we enjoyed our experience. Can't wait to come back on a warm and sunny evening.
Amazing food. Everything we ordered was delicious & spot on
Service was very slow. Bean soup was excellent!
Fantastic location, great food, friendly service, and the best Mai Tai's we had on Kauai!
The wait at this restaurant after we were seated was unacceptable. We had to wait 30 minutes for a bottle of wine and another 30 minutes for dinner (hour total wait for meals). This is a loud restaurant and unfortunately we had a table of friends near us who were extremely loud. As for food, 3 of the 4 meals were good and the one fish dinner was overcooked. We would not go back to this restaurant.
Great place, wonderful food.
Great ambiance and good food too. Henry was our server and he was fantastic!
the fresh fish appetizers and entrees were great. The Thai Martini is amazing.
It took a long time to waited on and then our waiter was not very attentitive.
Mediocre food and menu choices - wait service was good but slow
We had a delicious dinner at the Oasis. Our server, Henry, made great suggestions from the menu. The carrot pumpkin soup was outstanding. Even our 11 and 8 year old girls loved it. The local catch of the day was very very good. The half-portion option was perfect for us because we were not super hungry. We really enjoyed our experience here.
From the moment we walked up to the hostess, to the end of our night, everything was fabulous! Best food I've had at a restaurant in a long time! We were celebrating our 25 anniversary and they made it special. I can't wait to visit again!
Great food, beautiful environment near beach, outside, farm to table local food and wonderful service. The only constructive criticism was the size of the appetizer, very small.
Wonderful evening at what we thought was best seat in the house. Only reason we say 4 for service is that it seemed busy. She was great
This was our second time here and it did not disappoint. The drinks were wonderful and the sweet potato chips were wonderful as well.
Pleasantly surprised with the menu and service our waiter was knowledgeable and fun
Food and service were great, but we had to wait for a long time for food to come. They brought drinks after the food came and forgot about my kid's food.
Very attentive, friendly staff. Delicious food, spectacular location. Highly recommended.
Very nice place right on the beach. Accommodating staff and very friendly. The food was very good and well priced. Would definitely recommend.
The view, before dark, was beautiful! From there it was down hill. The service was far below what we expected. The waitress. ... it was as if we were doing her a favor to eat there. The food took forever to come and once received it was mediocre. It took a long time to even be served and they really weren’t that busy. The choice of fish was limited and the steak was tough. It also took a long time to get the bill. We were very disappointed. With all the wonderful restaurants on the island, this isn’t one I’d ever go to again!
Wine and food both highly over priced and unimaginative. Service and welcome were very good, but not good enough to compensate. Will not be back.
My girlfriend, her family and i went here for dinner one night we were in Kauai for a conference. We are gluten free and we split the quinoa and curry dishes because we couldn’t decide. Both were really good! It’s on the ocean so the views are wonderful especially when they open up the glass doors. The service was really nice and helpful.
Food and ambience was amazing. The sweet potato chips are a must!
The Worst meal I’ve had ever at a restaurant. Really disappointing. Left restaurant hungry.
We wanted to go big on our last night in Kauai and Oasis delivered. The place is gorgeous and had we come an hour earlier, Im sure the view would have been spectacular (it was dark by the time we sat down). Short rib was very tasty, quinoa had wayyy too much butter, but the grilled catch of the day won us over. We topped it off with some ice cream and sorbet. Really enjoyed ourselves and the mai tais are not to be missed!
Eveything was wonderful. We had a table outside and had a beautiful view of the ocean. Our server was attentive and food very fresh and flavorful. Would definitely go back!
Arrived and the restaurant was ready with our reservation. The service and food were excellent. The restaurant is very open and we love to listen to the ocean while we eat. We come here every year during our vacation.
Food mediocre for the price , do not recommend.
The first night we were treated wonderful and it was a special experience. I made a reservation to come back for breakfast reserved a table and it wasn’t even honored. If Sharron is in charge she goes over and above whoever was there the next time basically laughed at us when we told him we had reserved a certain table. Sad to say I’m a come back
What a surprise. We decided to ditch into the resturant because of snarled traffic and Yruely came upon an oasis.
View is excellent and so was the good and service.
Best place to eat in Kapaa!
Fortunately, the happy hour crowd and music was ending when we had our reservation, so we had a wonderful experience looking out to the ocean with the waning full moon reflecting on the water. Delicious bar drinks. Unique appetizer of sweet potato chips with poblano cheese sauce and a local green bean salad with orange vinaigrette started the meal. Delicious vegetable curry with added marlin and Kauai steak were delicious- fortunately, half portions were offered , which was enough for the curry, after the appetizer. Desserts were mango sorbet and a grilled fruit dish- both a great way to end the meal. Very friendly and attentive service!
Meh. I’ve had much better food and service in other places. You are simply paying for the view. Service could have made it a much better experience. They didn’t seem to care.
Final night in Hawaii
Knowledgeable waiter. Great food. Happy hour drinks were well made. Really nice meal for 2 for under $100
Excellent innovative meal, wonderful open air setting, and friendly knowledgeable service. Best mai tais ever. The beet salad was exemplary as was the perfectly cooked fish. We’ll be back.
What a fantastic place! This place is literally right on the beach. Great seating, warm and friendly lights, and an overall comfortable and inviting ambience. Service is quick and friendly withou being intrusive. And the food is top notch - fresh, well prepared, and most importantly, delicious! I had the boneless short rib and it was excellent. Wines are superb and fairly priced as us the food. And don't forget desert!
