N'Tini's Ratings and Reviews
Food was disappointing. The appetizer was greasy. The salad had entirely too much sticky sweet dressing. The fish entree was thin and over cooked and had several bones and too salty. The waiter didn't offer dessert menu or bother to explain or offer us dessert The lighting was awful. It was too bright and impersonal. We won't be back
Thank you for having such a wonderful wait staff AND kitchen! Your wait staff realized the neighboring table was a bit loud and was interrupting us having a conversation. Thankfully, she immediately took care and moved us to a much more convenient location. The food was outstanding!!!! We enjoyed Thursday night so much, we went back for Sunday brunch. This will not be our last visit to N'Tinis! Loved it!
The food was only lukewarm, the tea water was tepid. I had chicken and waffles, a dish you'd think would be hard to screw up. The chicken and coating were completely unseasoned. It may have been the worst fried chicken I have ever had.
The servers were friendly, efficient and quick. But while good food can forgive bad service, no level of service can forgive bad food.
I will not return to N'Tini's
This was our first visit to N'Tini's and we were so disappointed.
Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The ambiance was comfortable. We sent the spinach and artichoke dip back, it was nothing more that creamed spinach and bad creamed spinach at that. While rib eye is a well marbled steak, the entire steak should not be completely fat. My husband and my oldest sons rib eyes were awful cuts of meat. Not what you would expect at the prices that you are paying. I had a filet that was prepared Oscar style with crab meat and hollandaise sauce. While the few pieces of crab meat were fine, I'm still trying to figure out what the thick, pasty, very yellow substance that they poured over my steak was. I had to scrape it off with my fork. The lasting impression was my 16 year old son. He loves his cheeseburgers and never leaves anything on the plate. He barely ate half of his burger and stated it just did not have any flavor. For a restaurant that came very highly touted, it was very disappointing.
Although N'Tini's food was satisfying, the service was terrible. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip which came with very few pita triangles. This was disappointing because we did not have enough bread to finish the delicious appetizer. My husband and I both ordered steaks, and we both enjoyed them. Our waiter was nice, however, we had a several long stretches when we did not see him. He was slow in taking our entree order (it wasn't taken until he brought out the appetizer) and he never checked on us once our food came. When we asked for our check, we waited for at least 15 minutes before we had to go ask the hostess to print it for us. At this point our waiter must have noticed that we left, and he approach us at the host stand and asked if we got our check, but offered no apology. I should mention that our waiter did have two large tables of which he was taking care. I feel as though management should not have allowed this to happen because obviously he, most wait staff for that matter, could not handle the large parties in addition to his smaller tables. Despite the decent food, my husband and I have decided that we will not be going back to N'Tini's.
We had an early reservation. Service was way too fast. Unfinished salads were removed when the entrees arrived. We were not ready for the entrees and the waiter should have known that. I had the ribeye which was disappointing. It tasted ok but was too thin, not even 1/2 inch, not steakhouse quality. Steak was over cooked but it's hard not to on a thin piece of meat. Lastly, the waiter removed my wife's unfinished martini when the entree plates were removed!
Sorry to report that our experience was negative. Food came out lukewarm at best. Fish was over cooked. The pork chop entree landed on the floor and had to be returned to the kitchen. Ribeye steak was not flavorful either. Additionally, friends went the next night and had a similar experience. Want N'Tini's to be successful but we won't be going back anytime soon.
First of all our server was wonderful and attentive as was the hostess. The best part of our experience was Michelle. They were very accommodating of our large group.
My food was on the verge of being inedible. I had to pick out the excess garlic out of my scrambled eggs to make it edible. The other two ladies who ordered the same item I had ordered got through less than half of their meals due to the garlic. The patty melts were described as okay. The prime rib sandwich was described as "well day old prime rib." The Benedict that my husband ordered was good enough but available for $5 less at another local restaurant.
The only thing that looked good and was well liked at the table were the kids chicken and waffles.
My wife and I had date night here. The food was great and the service was better. I had the chocolate moon which was blue moon with chocolate rim seemed interesting so I tried and it was excellent. I went with the pork chop and my wife had the steak. Both were excellent. We will be back.
I made a reservation here for Valentines Day dinner. The special menu was amazing, as well as the items we ordered off the regular menu - red velvet bread pudding changed my life. Our server was extremely helpful with dinner selections and apologetic when things were moving slowly (to be expected, the place was packed). My only critique is that we made a reservation for 7:15 and weren't seated until 7:45. Again, this was because it was packed that night. What really peeved me is that we showed up on-time, and after 20min of waiting the hostess clearly gave our table to another (middle-age) couple so they could get their reservation on-time. I may be younger (23years old), but that doesn't mean I don't deserve as good of service as a 50 year old. Overall, I would go here again on a less busy night!
