The main entrance off Berkeley Street leads into the Asian Restaurant. Here cool granite walls complement the striking lacquered ebony bar-counter decorated with a jade stone. Materials used in this area - wood, stone and leather - are all natural. They are offset by subtle features such as a wall of cracked stone and bamboo chandeliers. The atmosphere here is at once welcoming and relaxing, but subtle enough not to distract from the food itself. A real feature of the Asian Restaurant is its open kitchen. Fronted by an amazing display of seafood and vegetables, it evokes the atmosphere of an Asian food market. The Asian Restaurant specialises in Chinese and Pan Asian cuisine, with a menu designed by highly skilled and experienced Japanese-trained Head Chef Luca Malacarne.

It was our first time, and everything was fantastic. Lots of options to choose from, and with the brilliant help from our Waiter Phillip, we ordered from most sections of the menu. Beautiful wine list, with lots of choices and fantastic help from the sommelier. And then there’s the general buzz, load music that makes you want to wine in your chair it was an amazing night

Dishes were wonderful especially the crispy cod rolls , baby squid and seabass in honey,soy & ginger. We were happy with our table overlooking entrance and bar but the better tables are on the outer perimetre though, avoid the ones nearer to toilets as it seems busy.

What a great evening. The front of house staff are helpful, courteous and friendly. The food is delicious and delivers great flavour. The dim sum is a favourite. The portions are plentiful so you feel very much that you got good value especially with the restaurants location. A place you will want to return to.
