A great neighborhood gem
Great restaurant. Food was delicious and the service was very professional. We would definitely go back.
We enjoyed our total experience. The waiter (Harry) was knowledgeable, personable and remembered each of our requests. The food was fabulous. We happened in on the special, but we will plan to return even without the special pricing.
The food is consistently good. Great menu choices. Service is always friendly
We ordered prime rib medium rare and it came almost raw. Sent it back twice and it still wasn’t done enough. It was also very tough.
Good food but ran out of key lime pie. :(
Trout and halibut were excellent
Took the family to Northside Kitchen while on vacation. Had a fantastic dining experience - food was great(had the tuna tartare, Filet mignon and tiramisu for $40 total! Also had a couple glasses of wine - they have a great wine selection; 50 different types of wine available both as a taste and by the glass
Best meal and best deal in Eagle County. Three course fixed price meal is amazing!
We were surprised at the interior compared to the outside "coffee shop" appearance. How many times have we driven by and thought "coffee house". We were celebrating a friends birthday, who was then going on to a concert so it was a great rendezvous location . We were early diners. There was very loud and rock out music and we were unable to make our point that we'd really like it to be turned down. The music did not fit the ambiance. It really is a pleasant dining atmosphere otherwise. Our food was also a surprise. Very nice. Everything was special, but the tuna tartare was the big hit with all of us. The wine list was exciting and so were the by the glass prices. But I guess, nice to have options.
We will go back.
Disappointed in food quality...they ended up comping the trout that was dry and encased in 1/2 “ of grated potato. Other diners with me thought their meal was fair at best. Waitstaff were great. Mainly disappointed because breakfast is soooo good and the burger place across I70 is great .
Our server was great, but the food was very mediocre, so we will not go again.
The food was good as usual. The servers while pleasant were clueless and need TRAINING. Finally how does any restaurant not have any vanilla or other ice cream for dessert?
Great food, value, and a hidden gem. Wine list is fairly priced and not a ripoff like most Vail Valley restaurants.
Great food, outstanding service. Have to go, if you are in town
Great ambiance. Love the white table cloths and the server dress code
Great dinner for Mother's Day. Liked that fact that the meals were 1/2 price.
Saw glowing reviews and we were looking forward to a nice dinner here.... BUT found it located next to and across from gas stations and close to a busy access road. First seated at a cramped space very close to a family in midst of their meal, despite seberal other tables being open (and most did not fill the remainder of the evening); had to ask to be reseated, and did not happen readily. These tables were in a screened in porch overlooking the very noisy road. Did not get explanation of the night's specials until we asked. French onion soup was tasteless and winter greens salad wilted and like the dressing had been applied hours before. Shrimp were overcooked and rubbery with unremarkable angel hair pasta. The fried chicken also overcooked with bland and thick crust; I only ate a small portion, and the same for overcooked and greasy potatoes and awful brussel sprouts. Should have followed my first thought about leaving after the poor first impression....
A hidden gem in Avon. Well worth the effort to find.
The food is aways delicious and plated very nicely. The wine by the glass is not a great deal anymore. Seems a bit high.
We went for the advertised 1/2 entrees special but I had pulled up the menu on your site and theirs to see the menu THEY HAD CHANGED THE MENU PRICES AND ADDED AT LEAST $10.00 TO EACH ENTREE! Foul play
Kind off the beaten path in Avon, but well worth finding. Owner is there and engaging and checking the quality.
One of our favorite go to restaurants. Food is excellent
Great meal with family & friends.
Ordered prime rib medium, came back well done. Ordered sea bass, not sure what it was but it wasn’t what we expected (Chilean sea bass). Too bad, we really wanted to love this place.
Our guests were surprised that we were taking them to what looked like a coffeehouse and were delighted when they discovered the wonderful 3-course fixed price dinner. Two more converts for this great locals' spot!
This is a solid restaurant with a very good food and very good service. Would strongly recommend the set menu as you get a good sampling of many good dishes.
Always great food and service would recommend it highly
Great as usual!
We were excited to try this place because of the good reviews, but we really found the food lacking. We ordered the scallops appetizer, my husband had the lamb chops, and I had the sea bass. We found them all to be very bland. I never salt and pepper my food, but I had to use them to season the sea bass. Our waitress was very nice, but she had several tables, so we waited a good bit on drinks, etc. Kids ordered burgers, and they said they were awesome... maybe stick to the simple stuff.
Excellent food! The 3 course meal is easily the best value in the area.
We had a wonderful meal, great variety, well presented and cost friendly. The setting was beautiful.
We visit BC 2-3 times a year and just discovered Northside Kitchen. My only regret is that we didn't discover this great restaurant sooner. It is worth the drive from Vail, Beaver Creek, Edwards, Eagle or wherever. The waitstaff was knowledgeable and helpful. From the Tuna Poke appetizer to the Prime Rib, Lamb chops, Shrimp Scampi and chocolate cake...all of it was fantastic. The menu has something for everyone. We will be back.
Anything you order is fantastic. Just really pricey!
Second visit to Northside. First was exception. Food delicious, and the best waiter I’ve had in many years. Truly exceptional. This visit not so. Food was still delicious. Service was extremely slow and inattentive. We waited one hour for our food. When the owner stopped by our table to inquire, we shared that we had waited for an hour. His response was simply, and rather unapologetically, “we’re really busy.” After a night of having to garner the waiter’s attention about a dozen times, we asked for our check, paid, and left rather unsatisfied and disappointed. Hopefully this trip was the exception and they’ll problem solve until they get it fixed.
As usually Great place for food and drink!
We go here ll the time and this is a great place to dine. Better prices than Beaver Creek and better food by far. The fixed price 3 course menu is a great value and 40+ wines by the glass is noteworthy. One of the values is the Caymus by the glass for $20.
We always come to Northside and we are never disappointed. The staff here is great and the service is steady and consistent.
Excellent service from Marco for dinner this evening. Everyone loved their dishes. Marco went above and beyond to take care of us, even helping our children pick out donuts for dessert.
Excellent food. Fun casual atmosphere.
