We enjoyed the food, our server was nice but forgetful. Personally felt like he had other more important people he was attending too. So that was frustrating. Honestly, we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. My only wish is that our server paid attention to us
Loved it. The cocktails are THE BEST!
Our meals were delayed, but the manager made it up to us. For a holiday the service was good, if slowed by the crowd.
Love, love, love North!!! Always my go-to. Easy to make reservations, great prices, convenient parking, and most importantly great food and service. Highly recommend.
North Italia was easily one of my favorite restaurants when it first opened in Houston. While still good, it seemed that the attention to detail and quality of the food was not as great as I remembered. Our server was forgetful and could have been more attentive, but not indicative of the service we typically receive at North.
The pasta is awesome. Perfectly cooked and flavorful. We had the strozzaparti and kale salad with salmon that was perfectly cooked.
Went to North Italia because i figured I’d get just what expected, EXCELLENT; food, drinks, wine and the usual attentive service. As usual, that’s exactly what I got!
A great meal and a wonderful experience. Thank you!
To die for white fig and goat cheese pizza. More of a dessert, server recommended the shared sweet appetizer came after our entrees. Perfect balance, will be back for just this item (but other menu items were nothing to scoff at...).
Great atmosphere, the food was delicious. At first, it was pretty busy and service started a little slow but we were moved to a new table and everything improved. Overall, a nice spot for a nice dinner occasion.
Have to yell to talk to each other! Calamari clumped together, had the been in the freezer awhile taste...
Always excellent food and a fun place to go. Nice outside dining when the weather is cooperating. It’s a little loud but that adds to the fun. Impeccable service and Juanito has been our server on a couple of occasions and he has been great.
This is one of my favorite places to have lunch.
Unfortunately dependes who’s serving you, several times I have had totally opposite experiences, as they “make faces if they have a problem understanding customer’s orders., just to mention one. We expect more comprehension from the waiters, as I have never had a bad face coming from a hostess.
Houston is a diverse city with people from all over the world, so we may have an accent o may have an unusual way of saying things, but doesn’t mean is wrong or in a disrespectful way. We are in one of the 5 biggest cities in the US and we expect much more.
Other than that, we love the consistency and quality of the food.
I’ve been to this restaurant about 6 times over the past two years. I travel to Houston on business, and have never been disappointed with North Italia. The food is amazing and the service is exceptional, even when they are jammed. My only complaint, and it would NEVER keep me from recommending it, is that the noise level is high. I love it and will be back.
Food was great. The mushroom tortellini as amazing.
You definitely need a reservation. Appetizers are actually sizeable and perfect for sharing. There was 3 of us and the bill came out to be 70.83 we had the mushroom tortellini, the pig pizza, 1 more pasta dish, and the cheesy garlic bread. The food over all was good and the portions are fairly sizeable. Both pastas were very rich and flavorful and the pizza was good but a little too thin and soggy By the time they brought it out. Our waiter was a little hassled and hurried which is understandable with how busy they are. Overall a good experience
As we are at 3:30... the restaurant was not busy at all.... still was always looking for our server... twice had to ask another server to find ours.... no excuse for that
Our server was attentive and full of answers. The artichoke was delicious and a nice size for an app for 3 people. Served with a lovely aioli.
Delicious and the perfect place for a birthday dinner! We enjoyed everything!
We made a reservation and were seated right away when we arrived. I felt silly making a reservation at 6:15 on a Friday but I'm glad I did because it was so busy! However despite it being busy we were helped right away by our server and she was never far away whenever we needed anything. We shared the grilled artichokes, chicken pesto pasta and The Pig and everything was delicious. I loved that the kitchen was open so if you walked to the back of the restaurant you can see what they're up to.
I dine here regularly there must have been a new kitchen staff. Food came out slower than usual but still acceptable wait time and the truffle bread was slightly dried. I will be back next week.
Very good wait staff
Great service, great atmosphere, amazing food. Highly recommend the short rib radiatori!
Food was great service excellent would recommended to place to anyone
Two visits and everything we tried was delicious. Already have a third visit planned! My only wish is that the noise level be taken down a few notches.
Great service, even during busy lunch times. Food is always delicious! Been for lunches & for happy hour & enjoyed both. I would recommend getting a reservation.
Great food! And you can't beat half price wines on Sundays.
Food and drink were great
Did not get the bar seating as requested. Now I know it can't be reserved. Had to grab a table on my own.
Georgio the manager is absolutely the BEST! He truly put the “C” in Customer Service!
I have eaten at North Italia quite a few times, but it had been a while since I ate there last. I was delighted to find their food quality and customer service is still top notch!
Great food and wonderful service. Looking forward to returning soon.
I have been to North Italia many times for lunch to do business but until Saturday morning I had yet to sample breakfast. Wow! I was surprised at the variety and how delicious it was. Our eyes were bigger than our stomach but we started with the Nonna Casserole which has some of their red sauce mixed with bread sausage and egg! Married to a beautiful Italian women who makes her own tomato based sugo / gravy - I am picky with my sauce and this one hit the spot. The coffee was spot on as well as the egg sandwich. On top of the great food the service was spot on. The manager checked to see how our food was and Madeleine’s our server withe her incredible welcoming smile and top notch service we will be back soon. The wife has mandated a trip back for lunch or dinner.
I would recommend this place.
A great place to lunch
Jessica was our server. Great service, amazing food! A little loud in the restaurant, but a great ambience! Overall, I give it a 10!
Food was fabulous! Service was perfect. The noise level was pretty high so that it wasn't as easy to carry on a conversation as I would have liked.
Great Chicken Parmesan & great well informed waitress
Enjoyed sitting outside
Food was good
Every the lighting
We first dined at North Italia in Los Angeles when we were visiting last week and it was there that they told us they had a branch in Houston so we decided to compare the two. The experience was quite similar at each of them. Everything was excellent except the noise level which was terrible and exhausting--it really takes away from what might otherwise have been a perfect evening.
This place is just too good!!!! Is one of my favorites restaurants in Houston!!! The food is absolutely delicious!!!! I tried so many things and everything is tasty! My favorites are bolognese pasta and the meat ball sandwich! But the salads and pizzas are very very good! Oh get the bread on the appetizer list!!! And tiramisu for dessert!!! Worth every calorie!!!!!!! Love it!
