Great service and food. Same as always.
I usually refuse to eat pasta but totally cave when I go to North. The strozzapeti is amazing. If you’re more of a red sauce person you can’t go wrong with the bolognese- I even ordered that one to go after the meal and blamed it on my “bf at home.”
Been there many times. Management (Jose) attended to my needs and once again it was a pleasurable experience. Highly recommend for great food, service, and atmosphere.
I had my birthday brunch here and we had such a great time! Our waitress, Hope, was amazing, we will definitely be back!
I really enjoyed my experience here. Good foo, nice service, food came out in a timely manner. But its so loud, I was basically screaming at my friend who was sitting across from me. It's almost too loud to have a normal conversation during their peak hours. That was the only thing holding me back from giving 5 stars. Otherwise, its a great place to eat.
The Restraurant was very noisy. I made a reservation for two and the Restraurant seated my guest and me in this tiny corner. It was such a tiny place I had to sit sideways to allow my friend to stretch his legs forward. Half the time waiter seemed to forget we were stuck in this corner to service us. I selected this eatery because of location / food reviews. I was a bit embarrassed in the selection of North Italia for my out of town friend's dinner his first time to Houston..... terrible atmosphere rush, rush service and noisy. We were hoarse from shouting to speak when we departed. Sad to say best thing - Valet Car Service
I will not return. Definitely not a Positive Customer Experience.
Love this place! Food is delicious and the service is always wonderful!
Nice atmosphere, good food, good service and very enjoyable.
I made a reservation thru here without knowing the account is under my husband name. So when my daughter and I arrived I gave them my name and they couldn’t find it. 🤦🏻♀️ The owner was who greeted me and he right away got us a table. The staff was so nice and friendly! Great place! Love it!
Used to love this place
Food was ok
Service was ok
Feels worn out
Needs a face lift
My only problem was the noise level. We will go back again, despite the difficulty talking. Our waitress, Christina, was a sweetheart. Food was absolutely delicious too!
North Italia was amazing! I’d definitely recommend to a friend, best chicken parm ever!
Fantastic location in Houston. Ample parking and valet. Service was excellent. Ambiance was great! Food was salty.
Carrie was an incredible server & the food was delish! Can’t wait to go back!!!
I made a reservation for 5 for my dad's birthday. I've been here several times and was excited to bring my parent's along to try for this special occasion!
The host called the day of to confirm the reservation for 5 and I confirmed, but there was a slight hiccup once we walked in for our reservation. But hosts were responsive and had our table ready in no time.
Food was fantastic, like always! My dad had a great birthday meal!
Excellent food with superb and knowledgeable service; we followed our wait person's recommendations. All were great, especially the Squid Ink pasta dish that had a nice spicy kick.
Everything was delicious! Especially the zucca chips and white truffle garlic bread- amazing. Great restaurant!
Great food as always !!! We had the meatballs , the chicken Parmesan , the short ribs radiatore , and the bolognese ... for 2 people ! Wonderful
Great place to get freshly made in house pasta and flavorful dishes! Ambiance was really unique and industrial!
Wonderful time for Labor Day, Food was excellent, Service was exemplary and attentive!
Please give provide pay raises for the great job & kudos to the management for quality training and focus on perfection!
Very noisy. Service was extremely slow. We ordered dessert which never came not to mention the fact that I requested a candle in my dates dessert for her birthday in the open table notes. This might be a nice place to pop into after work for a drink and a bite but not a place to have a nice dinner with a bottle of wine. Also I couldn’t figure out the expensive wine offerings, if I was going to spend several hundred dollars on a bottle of wine, I would expect a nice atmosphere.
Bottom line, not knowing anything about this restaurant, I took my date there for her birthday. Food was fine but atmosphere and service was terrible. We could not get out of there fast enough.
We probably will not return.
Food was very good, service was exceptional. Biggest drawback is simply the noise level. Not a place for a quiet reflective meal but definitely a place to enjoy friends, family and fine food.
Food as great. Service not so great
Spectacular service and accommodating since we had our pets with us.
Food is always Top Notch & this restaurant is not like a classic chain where food and service vary; consistent food quality and stellar service is the norm here!
I liked North Italia. The ambience was very nice. I had a good lunch and talk with my friend. The staff was very friendly. Excellent service. The food was good but felt it was overpriced. But overall I liked it very much.
Scott always does an amazing job. His recommendations are always perfect!
Love this place! It has to be one of my favorites!
Only downside is that it may get loud when it’s busy and sometimes hard to have a conversation!
Amazing food, consistent as usual! Great service, but has an audiologist myself with normal hearing I couldn’t believe how loud it was.
This is by far the loudest restaurant I’ve been to. Not suitable for a business lunch.
Came for a fun date-night out. The food was good, but the vibe of the restaurant was even better. Such a fun atmosphere!
One of my favorite places in town! The gluten free pasta option is perfect for my dietary needs!
This is our go to place when we want a very casual atmosphere and good food. The staff is always great and very friendly. We usually go for dinner but it is great for Saturday and Sunday brunch. It is always noisy and not good for quiet conversation. However, fun and good and we continue to go back.
Food is consistently good; service is spotty at best.
Food serving was slow. Also they gave me the wrong food. Ordered chicken but they served salmon. Ordered a black mussel as appetizer and they didnt bring it until we finish all the food. No small forks for mussels. Also the mussels were much smaller than before.
My husband and I were in Houston visiting our son and meeting his girlfriend. I made reservations at North Italia because I found it on Open Table and the reviews on Trip Advisor were good. We were not disappointed. We had Friday evening 7pm reservations for 4. We only had to wait about 10 minuets or so past otime, which isn’t bad and was well worth the wait. We ordered pruschito bruschetta for a starter, which was fabulous. With the waiters help I ordered a bottle of wine for the table which went well with the meal. Everyone ordered something different, and nobody was disappointed. The noise level is a little loud, but to me it is part of The homey vibe of a large family. We really enjoyed our meal, the wait staff and the prices were reasonable
It’s just too loud. My girlfriends all agree that we will not be able to go back because it is too hard to talk and hear anyone. I have encountered the same issue many other times. I love the restaurant wish they could do something about the level of noise.
Buen restaurante con comida italiana bien preparada y sabrosa. Buena atención y ambiente agradable
We had a delicious dinner at North and our service was fantastic. HOWEVER, the noise level at the restaurant was simply unbelievable. It was a wall of sound that hit us when the door opened. We literally could not hear the waiter speaking to us, nor could we have any type of conversation. We will absolutely go back but will wait for cooler weather when we can sit outside.
As far as food, we had the artichoke and calamari appetizers. Both were absolutely wonderful and I would say that the calamari was some of the best I have ever had. I had the scallop entree and it was delicious as well and a nice serving size - not too much.
This was our anniversary and we were looking forward to a nice leisurely dinner with good conversation. That simply wasn't going to happen. We were in and out in one hour and 15 minutes just because we couldn't talk to each other! To be fair, we are almost 60 years of age, so perhaps not the demographic that they are looking for (we were not the oldest people in the restaurant, but we were not far off!). Also, we were there at 6:00 p.m. so the happy hour crowd was still in full swing. Our waiter was fantastic and was very sympathetic when we had to ask him to repeat what he was saying!
Truly one of my favorite spots to eat. Great cocktails and food!
Only down side is the noise...it is really loud in the restaurant if you are eating inside.
