North Italia – BLVD
Delicious!! Great service. Fresh and handmade pasta. Never disappoints.
I love North, this visit was extra special because I brought my boyfriend for his first time, he was very indecisive but our waiter was nice and helpful. I will say that it did take our drinks some time to get to us but I figured because it was a bit busy. I work in the service industry as well so I wasn’t bothered by it.
The food just wasn’t good. Way overpricedFor the quality of food. Will not go back.
Frequent customer of this restaurant. Food and service outstanding as usual but no coffee, expresso, or cappuccino available.... at an Italian restaurant?
Food and service were great but it’s very loud in there
Service was a little off - received our salads and entrees at the same time.
We had great dinner and service at North the other night. The only challenge is that is it always very loud and very difficult to hear even across the table to have a conversation. If they could put some better sound acoustics in the restaurant to cut the noise it would make a big difference in the overall experience.
Portions are small for the price but the food is good.
Great service! Food was delicious!
Really enjoy North Italia every time that I visit.
The food is wonderful and the servers are always polite.
Definitely suggest making reservations, especially on the weekends as the restaurant does get busy.
This is one of my favorites in Houston!
Too loud great service. Good food
Buzzing on a Wednesday evening. Not for a quiet conversation but worth checking out. Serving is quick and most people seem to be quickly on their way again
Terrific date location. A touch loud but that required us to get cozy.
It was amazing... Ray truly sets the standard for great customer service!
Everything was great, all food is made in house even the pasta. The service was outstanding. If there is a negative, it's the noise level. The noise level is fairly high on a Saturday night, but it's all what you are looking for in your dining experience. If you are looking for good food with great service, then this is your spot.
Great service and great food! The food was taking longer to come out and our server brought us complimentary appetizers. We didn’t even ask or notice that the food was taking a long time but it was nice they noticed! Love this place
Food and service were great but the noise level was so high
My umpteenth visit since the soft opening over 5 years ago. Hit or miss sometimes, but overall a favorite of mine! Cin Cin!
Amazing every time!
The staff was rude and seemed inconvenienced by any requests (more water, a plate to eat the pizza on). The servings were small and expensive, but the food was pretty good.
Always great food and great service. Vibrant atmosphere leaning toward loud.
Excellent food and nice atmosphere. Service was okay
Good until the end.
Forgot to bring out coffee. Then cold. Brought out ice cream melted
I got a reservation at North Italia very last minute when I was looking for a new Italian restaurant to try. I have to say that this was one of my favorite experiences at any restaurant, period. The atmosphere and style of the restaurant were absolutely wonderful and my waiter was friendly and fantastic (I, unfortunately, cannot remember his name at the moment). I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and family in the future.
Food was very disappointing this experience considering I brag about this restaurant as its my favorite Italian spot in Houston.
The food and see was great.
Service was great but food was a bit salty. Great place for a late lunch with the family.
Had a great time! Food was so good
Very noisy but food was very good. Would not recommend if you want to do for a date or something intimate
Amazing food and the service was great! The food came quick and we couldn’t get enough! Highly recommend!
We really appreciated our waiter Juan who was exceptionally awesome! The food was great and tiramisu was uniquely decadent oh wow will return to try other dishes
Food was exceptional and so was the service! We will be visiting again. Highly recommend.
Great atmosphere and the best happy hour
Great service is the game here, consistent food, wonderful attention to detail in the presentation, superb in house made products!
North Italia should the standard other restaurants should emulate!
Food is great and the atmosphere is so fun!
Enjoyed a great lunch- yuca chips, arugula salad with avocado and short rib pasta.
I have gone to North Italia a number of times. What prevents me from going any more often is the crowded wait times and noise level inside the restaurant. This visit, I decided to sit in the outdoor area which is MUCH more quiet than inside the restaurant. It's nice to have a lively atmosphere inside a restaurant, but there comes a point where the lively becomes way too loud and becomes something to be endured. I ordered my usual appetizer (grilled cauliflower) which was as usual. I tried something different from my usual short ribs: grilled salmon. The staff was accommodating and respecting my wish to keep my carb intake to a minimum, the pasta/grain portion of the dish was substituted with broccolini. The grilled salmon was very beautifully presented. It was a tad dry around the edges of the salmon filet, but the sauce rescued the dish.
I look forward to cooler and less humid weather to make sitting outside even better.
Usually it is very good but I don’t know what happened last Sunday, the food was a disaster. I hope that everything will be as before.
Our server Taylor was outstanding. One of our appetizers came out very late, manager delivered and apologized along with comping. Was extremely loud inside, recommend sitting outside if you want to have conversation.
Felt like the Charcuterie platter was lacking in many ways. Meats were great, but one cheese that wasn't fresh and in the right temp. This item is pricey and needs work!
