Amazing food. Really lovely staff. A great experience from start till finish. Can not wait to return.
I used to go to Nobu in London many times. services were always excellent the genuinely greeting and warm welcome from staffs.
last Monday I went to celebrate by birthday at Nobu in LA, most of staffs are nice but one server was a bit rude, took the drink away without asking while I was still enjoying my dessert which is not a good manner for a fine dining like Nobu. when I asked her to bring me a glass of water she gave me the attitude face which is not nice.
when we need to order something hardly see anyone comes to ask but there was one Asian male server noticed that we needed some help. but we were enjoying our meals there were at least three times servers came to ask if we wanted to order more dishes. so I replied that we were not sure that was around 9.30pm so I asked if the kitchen will be closed soon she replied yes around 9.50pm I saw another table just got their food. I curious why they treated us differently.
comparing the food quality and size with the London branch. LA did not satisfy me like I used to get from London.
Never a disappointment! Always fantastic! The service was great, and the food is truly some of the best
This is a really exquisite place to dine!
Always outstanding. We order several items and each and every one was amazing. The bread pudding is sinful!!!
The food is outstanding!!! It’s really good to have testing menus because you have a bite of a lot of great dishes. We loved it
One of our top five favorite restaurants in Los Angeles. The food is always solid. And the service is outstanding. We love Nobu ❤️🍣
Our server was very rude. I guess she did not want to be there. Food was good. First time I feel I don’t want to come back to Nobu.
Great food and service with server selected menu.
We had the waitress create a bespoke tasting menu based on our preferences and it was incredible. We did end up spending $230 each but it was very worth it - tried 15 menu items between 3 of us. Everything was served in threes, which made things very easy to share. Would (in general) always recommend a tasting menu over ordering for yourself.
Our server selected a perfect meal for us, just the right amount of food. She was very attentive but not intrusive. A great dining experience
The dry miso sashimi was honestly some of the best tasting sashimi I’ve ever had. It was inventive and delicious.
That being said, the nigiri was subpar - honestly equal in quality to Sushistop but at 10x the price.
Ambience is incredible - it’s a truly beautiful restaurant.
Service is impeccable.
It’s super expensive, but that comes as no surprise - it’s Nobu.
Overpriced but amazing food. Great Service, our waitress made great suggestions. she was great
Probably one of the better sushi places in LA, but I wouldn’t say it’s fantastic. Poor value-for-money I would say. You come here for the ambience, not the food.
Outstanding taste and presentation! This is not your neighborhood sushi place. We just let our server keep bringing dishes and each selection was outstanding.
Love Nobu everywhere. That day wasn’t the best experience. But the food worth it.
Birthday dinner that didn’t disappoint!
My husband and I went to Nobu to celebrate the end of our honeymoon trip. The food we had was absolutely delicious, but our experience was diminished at the entrance when we were greeted by the hostess who gave us a speech about being 10 minutes late. As we are not from Los Angeles we got lost on our way there. When we were finally seated after she explained the 15 minutes policy, we realized the restaurant was not even full, and it stayed like this the whole evening, which I would have understood the speech for our fashionable lateness. Another comment is about the music which was a bit too loud for me as we had to speak louder to hear each other my husband and I. Otherwise, definitely would go back for the food and the tasting menu, which was impeccable. All the fish were fresh and I accompanied my food with sake which was definitely a treat. The desert was perfectly balanced for a 7 course menu and I loved the fact that we got to share food, I think it is a good formula. Overall, I would try again Nobu, but maybe at another location to compare.
Staff very accommodating for our big group! Thanks for the hospitality:)
The restaurant food was great. The servers were nice.
Nubo, was our first time experience - we will return - perfect
Overall very good, but we didn’t like the fact that there was no dedicated waiter to us or other tables, there were three different taking orders. We were much more satisfied last time.
Suggestions by staff were spot on. The recommendations to start with the trout, scallops and finish with the truffle albacore was great.
Overall, meal and service were excellent. Looking forward to Nobu opening in Toronto soon.
Musique trop fort mais repas excellent
I came here for my 35th birthday and was hoping for a really special experience. The food was surprisingly underwhelming. I'm from San Diego, and the food is better at Sushi Lounge in Encinitas! It seemed very rushed, and small serving sizes were overpriced. The panko scallops were our favorite, everything tasted good, it was just a little disappointing overall.
We have been to a few Nobu’s around the workd and found LA to be one of our top favs. Really enjoyed the experience and can’t wait to go back.
Unfortunately this was a poor meal and poor experience all round
This was not the standard good fare or experience that I have enjoyed in London or Monaco
I dine all over the world and this is still one of my favorite restaurants. I live in SF and often just make the trip down to enjoy the amazing food. This latest trip did not disappoint. If you want the best, this is it!
Yellow tail jalapeño is always good. However, I noticed the presentation of the dish is not what it used to be. The size of the jalapeño has been the same every time I ordered. This time, you’ll see they are different in sizes in one plate. A5 wagyu was way too salty. Service hasn’t been good too. We had 2 birthdays and we didn’t even get any complimentary desserts.
Everything was outstanding. We were a group with different dietary restrictions and the chef made delicious food for all of us .
Food was not as expected. It was average and I have had much better. Service was good to start with but in the end had to get up and find the server to get my check. Probably wouldn’t go back.
Over rated, rushed. Servers not genuine or overly nice. Service felt like a regular mom and pop hole in wall. Sushi is good but not the greatest. Over hyped. Wouldn’t care to go back.
The entire staff is very friendly from the manager to all the servers. Our server Art did a great job with recommendations as well as selecting some great dishes.
Here visiting the area with my son looking at colleges and wanted to try some good sushi.
First of all my initial impression of the restaurant was that it had a really nice special vibe. Loved the welcome from all the staff as we were seated!
The menu is big, so we opted for the tasting menu. Our waitress suggested that she choose some of the more popular menu items and keep the price the same. What a great suggestion!
Food was presented beautifully and we were very satisfied and full after the 7 different items we shared.
All the staff was friendly and efficient.
Had a wonderful experience. When back in town, will definitely come back!
Excellent food and service!! A must go to place in LA!! Terrific food! Not a bad dish on the menu, everything is great!
Great as always!
One of the most singularly unique and amazing dining experiences of my life. Incredible food and service, and the ambiance was surreal and beautiful.
Absolutely AMAZING! Ambience. Food. Fellowship. Service. I will CONTINUE to eat here when I visit from ATL.
Amazing food, attentive service, great experience.
