    Overall, really enjoyed the food. The experience of the place however was subpar. The music was too loud inside which made it hard to have a conversation. At one point, our waiter was taking orders around the table, then he left in the middle of taking orders, and said "He'll be back". I found that odd and unprofessional, I have would have not expected that to happen at Nobu.

    This was quite the disappointment. Our food and drinks took very long, our server rarely checked in and they were mixing up orders with nearby tables. Not to mention the food was standard, nothing exciting. For a restaurant that is highly spoken of, we will not be returning.

    It was our first time here and the food blew us away! Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful too! We arrived a few minutes earlier than our reservation but the seated us immediately. The best parts of the whole night was the food for sure! Thanks for having us.

    Service provider did not look very happy as we arrived there just for the desserts. Her expressions were quite weird to understand that and although we paid too more than she expected that was not for her. Also, almost all the desserts have alcohol burned off which is not acceptable for Indian parents specially. So they should include some normal desserts in the menu. Or May b the service provider was off not to understand the requirements.

    For a $225 Omakase experience, this was quite disappointing. Food emerged slowly and was quite subpar given the price point and service was inattentive and lackluster. Ending on a literal bowl of shaved ice for dessert was pretty lame for an upscale place like Nobu.

    I had an amazing experience at Nobu. The servers were amazing Rachel and Chris. Food was delicious and great quality. My friends and I had blest day. I would definitely recommend to everyone to go Nobu LA and myself would come again. Thank you for everything!!

    The waiter was nice. That was the best part of the evening. The restaurant itself is underwhelming. Open floor with the sushi counter on one side. Food was below average. Rolls were room temperature and bland. A blob of wasabi and ginger was the garnish. The chicken teriyaki was a lukewarm chicken breast with a wing attached sitting in a pool of bottled teriyaki sauce. No rice, no garnish. I’ve had better at the mall food court. I think the restaurant probably goes all out for celebrities, but the average diner will be disappointed. The place lives on its over rated reputation. Even our concierge when we returned to the hotel said the place was not somewhere he’d recommend We had much better food elsewhere in LA.

    Food and service was amazing, toban yaki was delicious, don’t mind paying for excellent food as chef has to cook it but $12 for half pint of beer is overpriced even if it’s LA.

    Poor experience! Dined here numerous times before and decided to celebrate my birthday with 5 couples. Made reservations for 8:30 and when we got there, there were out of almost all of our favorite dishes and fish. Time for dessert, oh sorry, we are out of our bread pudding and another dessert. The winner of the night was the Parking attendant took home our car keys in his pocket at the end of his shift. 7 months pregnant and had to wait for almost 45 minutes waiting to get home. The restaurant staff at the audacity to tell my husband that he was overreacting and needed to calm down when he was getting upset.

    The food was excellent as was our waiter and the overall vibe. The place is really pricey though and perhaps we shouldn't have just let our server choose our menu but as they say, you only live once.

    Nobu was amazing. Miguel was informative and convinced us to go away from the menu and create a dining experience! It was course after course starting with one incredible dish after another! Come for the experience, stay for the one of a kind drinks and dishes!

    I've been to this Nobu location many times. Personally, I've noticed the quality of the A5 Wagyu change. The first time I tried it, it was soft and flavorful. Now it feels a bit difficult to eat, like it's rough, but still maintains flavor. Most of the items on the menu are enjoyable, such as the black miso cod; you can never go wrong with that. For dessert, the bento box is yummy. I recommend it for special occasions, birthdays, and business meetings.

    Delicious food, of course! Nobu is always the one to beat when it comes to sushi. here is what we ordered for a family of four: Strawberry mocktail Truffle Crispy onion albacore Yellowtail with jalapenos Seared salmon with mustard sauce Spicy tuna with crispy rice Tacos Seabass and wagyu Miso Black cod with ginger Crispy octopus with watermelon Beef tekanyaki in the hotpot with clarified butter Popcorn shrimp Sushi platter Dessert: croissant bread pudding Mochi Banana pecan We had no alcoholic drinks and the total for four people with tip was $691. So it's not cheap and so thought I would mention it here as we were pretty surprised.

    The only thing that I will say is that this was for my daughters birthday and despite the fact that messages were sent and confirmed by the restaurant about ordering a dessert and having it personalized with her name, they forgot to do it and i had to request it in front of my daughter which was beyond awkward. Attention to details is way more important than that.

    We came here to celebrate my fiancé's birthday and 1 year of being engaged with my parents and a few friends. We originally wanted to go to the Nobu in Malibu, but reservations are near impossible to get, especially on a Saturday. This location, on the other hand, made it very convenient. It was originally just supposed to be the 2 of us, but I decided to invite a few folks. They made it easy to update the number of guests without changing the reservation time. Ideal! The service was great, the food was delicious, and the company was even better. It was the 1st time eating at this Nobu for many in the group. Great experience overall, and I'd definitely come back!
