I love this restaurant! Great service, great food & great atmosphere!!
It was a wonderful experience it was our first time at a Nobu restaurant and all of my questions were answered in a quick efficient manner
From the presentation throw the first flavoures, hiden flavoures and after taste everything is thought for you to have an incredible experience with an incredible creativity to combinate japanees traditional cuisine with the newes european techniques and international ingredien (for example the taco wagyu)
We got a personalized tasting menu made by our waiter that gave us an incredible service.
The wine list is perfect to maridate the fish
Nobu food is always great, but service was very random. Good for parts, then really bad at the end. Constantly trying to track down our waiter.
And then when it came time for the bill, waiter no where to be found so we asked the waiter at the next table to help, and that’s when things went downhill. Instead of just taking the 2 credit cards and splitting the bill, it turned into a whole production. The CC machine had to be brought to the table, each persons name was called OUT Loud and said LOUDLY what your bill amount was, then the machine is put in your face to make sure you add a tip, the whole process was greatly embarrassing and annoying.
I will not return here, will just stick with Matsuhisa when I want high end sushi AND decent service.
Art, our server was excellent, as well as the entire staff. Everything on the menu is delicious and we let Art order for us.
Though not anywhere near the Malibu experience or physical space, food and drinks were delicious and servers friendly fast and helpful.
Oddly I was initially urged to allow the restaurant to order for us as it “works better, “ due to number of specials unique and not in menu... this was logical if pushy. But the kicker was being told ( in a nice way but in front of guests) I could set a price point. Our server was lovely after I simply ignored the suggestion and asked for specials of fish and veggies people liked, and then ordered what we wanted. Overall this just seemed scripted??? Snd discussing price at table was tacky. We spent approx $1600 for dinner for eight .. so we weren’t stingy. :)
This was a birthday dinner of eight... not a private dinner for twenty with a prearranged menu, where a price point discussion BEFORE the meal would have been not only appropriate but necessary..
Was out of 2 of the dishes requested. Ambience not great. Good covered in sugar.
Great food. Outstanding service!
Amazing food. Server was great, but seemed a little slammed.
Great, it was a wonderful experience
The restaurant was amazing from start to finish. The food, the drinks, everything it was all delicious. Our server was amazing aswell although I can’t remember his name (I think it was Zach) but he was great and even though it was really busy the service felt extremely personal.
Definitely worth the hype. Celebrated our anniversary and chose a great selection of food. Ate a lot but didn’t have that crazy OMG “I’m too full” feeling. Everything was wonderful!
Everyone loved everything we ordered, as always. This is my 3rd Nobu location I’ve been to and it was great. Can’t go wrong with the miso black cod, bento box, sushi, and the tofu tobanyaki is an amazing vegan option. Highly highly recommend Nobu if you’ve never been
Favourite restaurant group anywhere in the world. Every dish always to exact same quality wether in America Dubai or england. Staff always of the highest quality also
Loved our first experience! Food and service was worth every penny!
It’s always a good time. Arrived 30 min late but still attended us so that’s nice. Great food and ambience!
Best modern style japanese in town.
Fantastic food , fantastic service
Our dinner was fabulous!
Great food. Great ambiance. Friendly waiter.
The food and service where amazing
Awesome a bit pricey but food was great as was service
It’s a great restaurant! Great food, great alcohol, great service...
My boyfriend and I took his daughter to Nobu's to celebrate her 21st birthday! She said it was the best birthday dinner she's ever had! She also thought the sushi was the best she's ever had too. The waiter was super personable and made our dining experience that much greater! I hope anyone who enjoys quality sushi will visit this restaurant. Ambience is supreme and food and cocktails were delicious!
Overall everything was tasty although the Chilean Sea Bass was unevenly cooked with the center being almost raw. Some of the food wasn't hot. Inconsistent. The pork belly is still on my mind, unforgettable. The Lobster dish was creative but didn't work for me because the sauce fought with the meat, both sweet. The service was very good until the end when our waitress left and there was a long wait to order dessert so we just left without. Final grade B
Overpriced conveyor belt sushi
Came to LA for a pre-wedding trip with some friends and we decided to head to Nobu- it was better than we imagined! Our server(gentleman in the back section by trees, emp#5704 on receipt) was WONDERFUL! We’re all vegetarians so he took it upon himself to customize our menu for the night and made sure we got everything we needed. The food was excellent and we had a chance to explore combinations of spices and vegetables we wouldn’t normally try. Overall- definitely a eatery you need to check out if in LA!
It was one of the best meals we’ve ever had, with nine handpicked courses from our server. Every single course was delicious, and our server was attentive and knowledgeable. Would recommend for any special occasion!
It was quiet possibly the most expensive meal I have ever had but it was super delicious! Our waiter created the special menu for us so we were expecting a large bill. We tried all their popular dishes and had fun going on a taste journey. Our most favorite part of the meal is the strawberry snow cone/gelato dessert which was happiness in my mouth!
Everything we tried was amazing! Must try the wagu beef dumplings and the rock shrimp in creamy sauce! Also sushi was delicious 😋
I love the waygu that comes with the stone and you cook it at your table. I order it at every Nobu but for some reason there's Nobu they bring it on the stone already cooked and then pour fire over it. Our waygu was completely black all the way through.. that's not how you serve/eat waygu especially at Nobu. Our waitress was rather unfriendly and kept forgetting drinks and never checked on us. I let the waiter know as soon as the waygu got there this is not what we ordered and she shrug it off.. I also asked to speak with the manager Jarad who didn't even take us seriously even though we spent $700. I just wanted to leave after such a terrible experience and the valet guy was gone and Jarard was running all over looking for him. This was the worst Nobu experience I've personally had and this would have NEVER happened at the Malibu or Newport Beach location. This location needs some serious reminders and help.
Great food and good times
Artichoke salad and new style salmon is salty, not my favorite. But other dishes was good.
I was expecting something more espectacular like what I have experienced in Bahamas, Monte Carlo, Miami o Melbourne. Unfortunately was just ok and no súper as usual. The Seabass was nothing special and the beef with like teriyaki sauce very tasty. All the cold dishes just average like any other restaurant no Nobu style. However I would like to experience the Nobu flavors and I will keep going to all of them.
The TACO's were the SMALLEST tacos I have ever seen. They were literally only 1 inch long and they charged $15 for two of these taco's. The food here is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE and you dont get much of it at all. We left after ordering 2 appetizers and some sushi and went to Katana, another sushi place 4 blocks away they provided much more food for the price you paid.
Nobu offers the WORST food value for any Restaurant I have visited in the last 10 years.
Its a nice place inside, but you pay SKY HIGH PRICES and literally get No Food on your Plate !!!!!!!
The server made my experience at nobu excellent and desired to come back. Excellent choices!!
Everything was amazing! We picked our own items at first and then had the staff recommend their favorites. Everything recommended to us was superb. The Wagyu rib eye with ponzu and crispy onion was our favorite for cooked dishes, for raw I’d say the yellowtail w/jalapeño topped our list.
