   As always, lovely service! Surprised at how it was noisier than usual. Likely due to a few large groups coming through and the close seating. Food was good for everyone - love the salads. The walleye was more bread than I expected so I’ll skip that next time!

   As always, our meal was excellent and the ambience was superb. Today, the service was slightly below the usual level, but our waiter was really stretched. He was trying and working hard.

   My family visited for Easter Brunch. The restaurant is beautiful, as always! We had a great table with a view. The staff and servers were excellent, but the food was solidly mediocre. Between us, we sampled everything on the menu. Unfortunately, no dish stood out as delicious. Our food was consistently cold, and we noticed the table next to us sent back food citing temperature as well. A knife was needed for the pineapple upside down cake, and the table next door did ask for knives. It seems the pineapple was considerably over-“caramelized”. Overall, it wasn’t a great value. We love this old restaurant and hope they can bring things up to standard again soon!

   Service was ok, we did the Easter brunch for $70/pp Benedict was very good Gazpacho was ok Gnocchi was meh Good Bloody Mary Not a very good value-drinks were extra

   Not happy that they charged a MPLS SST Fee which is illegal. The staff claimed it was required by the city to charge but not one other restaurant that I ate in all week charged me that fee. It's a shame that owners of establishments don't treat their staff nicer or value them enough to pay them benefits they deserve but instead and fees to customers' bill illegally.

   What a lovely place to have a nice dinner! My Brother and I came here after we had been at the Starry Night Prom that DeLaSelle High School gives each year to Special Needs Adults. We took full advantage of their menu that included Deviled Eggs that were delectable! The food was great, but I would say that my Rigatoni was just a tad underdone, but none the less delicious. We will definitely come back for a special occasion and perhaps even stay at the Hotel just for the experience!

   I ordered the lobster cakes and tomato spaetzle soup. My husband ordered the walleye sandwich. We each greatly enjoyed our meals. Sometimes lobster/crab cakes are so full of breading that you can't taste the meat, but that was not the case here. There was plenty of lobster and very little breading. Our waiter was very friendly and quick. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in the area.

   We've been there before and got Dan again as the waiter. He is very knowledgeable and congenial. We enjoy his recommendations and attention to detail and service. We'll be back.

    My wife and I love the Nicollet Island Inn restaurant. Fun views of the Mississippi. People strolling outside the windows . . .. your elevated above the sidewalks 4 or 5 ft. Perfect. My wife enjoyed her dinner. My breaded walleye fish was a bit dry and the breading, a bit thicker than you would want. We'll go back again.
