   Awesome wait staff and excellent food. None of us has had such thoughtful attention in years, thanks to our waitress. The choice of classic brunch and lunch options made it all the more appealing and every entree was superb. ThNk you!

   Saturday brunch with the family in a beautiful space. The food was very good and cooked to order perfectly. Pacing was maybe a bit slow for what was not a crowded dining room.

    We had the Filet Mignon and Sea Bass and both meals were outstanding! Service was great. Will definitely be going back for more. It is easily one of the best dining experiences I've had in the Twin Cities

    I love Nicollet Island Inn! The food is on par with many of the trendy restaurants but the atmosphere is much more chill. The food is exquisite, the cocktails and desert are delicious, and the staff is always polite, attentive and kind. Hands down my favorite special occasion place in MPLS!

    Nicollet Island Inn has been our family's go to restaurant for 40 years. Our recent brunch visit was as satisfying and enjoyable as ever with the excellent customer service we have come to expect. The location is absolutely beautiful with the wrap-around dining room/bar offering incredible views of the Mississippi River as well as downtown Minneapolis from the outdoor dining area. Whether we are stopping by for a drink, a quick casual lunch or celebrating a special occasion dinner we are never disappointed. The staff is very professional, courteous and warm with many who have worked there for many years resulting in cherished relationships that we have enjoyed over the many decades of eating at Nicollet Island Inn. This family run business excels in excellence, warmth and integrity in a gem of location that exudes a sense of history and charming ambience that feels comfortable and welcoming. The food and drink have both "comfort food" options as well as many creative classics for a more formal dinner, and we very much love the brunch menu. We live nearby in the neighborhood and are grateful to have this excellent restaurant within walking distance of our house.

    One of the best in the city for ambience, quiet, and unobtrusive service. The food is very, very good of kind. There's only one negative -- it's COLD by the windows when temperatures plummet.

    Had a wonderful time. Beautiful building! It was awesome having everything you need right there. We stayed at the inn, ate supper and breakfast. The bartender was excelente in his craftsmanship. Would definitely stay again.

    Arrived a little before 8 pm things were going well until we had to wait awhile 15 minutes for the appetizer and then 40 minutes for our food. My salmon was cold because it waited for the pork chop. My wife was halfway done by the time I got my food. My dinner was comped. But took away from a great evening.

    My husband and I went here last night to celebrate my birthday. The table was beautifully set. We requested to be seated under a chandelier and candles lit. That was beautifully done. Our waiter was incredible. We were not consuming alcohol so he brought us a list of mock cocktails that were really good! For our entree I had the pork chop and it was heavenly!! My husband had the filet mingon burger which he loved as well. He asked for a side of blue cheese dressing and they did not have any but they made him one from scratch!! We were blown away!! The service was phenomenal!! Definitely coming here again! Thanks for creating an amazing experience for us!

    Great brunch. Better than their dinners if you ask me. All three dishes were great. A small menu but really well chosen. The place runs a little older regarding clientele but I find the restaurant to be cozy. Windows out onto the river. Lots of parking. I’ve been there a few times and always like it.

    Beautiful holiday ambience, excellent service and very good food. The Inn is set next to the river and a beautifully wooded park area on Nicollet Island. Highly recommended.

    I have been to this restaurant in the past with impeccable service and food. Unfortunately this time was disappointing, especially since it was a special occasion and on New Year’s day. They were understaffed-the servers were stressed and the service indicated that, putting a damper on the entire experience.
