I was a little nervous after reading a lot of reviews about slow service. I love Italian food and frequently go to Boston’s North End which, in my opinion, sets the bar pretty high for any local Italian restaurants. Faro was REALLY good! Both my boyfriend (who does not love Italian food) and I loved it!! I found the service to be super friendly and very efficient. The food was delicious and made to order, so fresh! We went at a fairly quiet time so this could account for why we didn’t wait extraordinarily for our food but with food this fresh, I would expect to wait during busy periods. It’s worth it! I do wish that the serving portions were a bit larger given the prices but, again, the quality of the food cannot be beat. It’s only because it was so good that I wished I had more! We will absolutely visit Faro again, thrilled to have great Italian food so much closer to home! MoreOpenTable Diner -

Discover Weirs Beach
When visiting Weirs Beach, finding food to suit your mood is, thankfully, never a chore. Visitors who want high-quality but inexpensive dishes can try some pub-style stops. These restaurants focus on thick burgers, simple salads, and rich brews. However, those who want a unique style can try one of the many German restaurants in the area. If you are a fan of sauerkraut or even wiener schnitzel, there are several places in the area that you can try. Those visiting New Hampshire can't leave the area without trying some high-quality seafood. Lobster rolls filled with creamy butter are a typical dish in this area. However, fried lake bass is another traditional favorite, particularly when paired with thick french fries.
