Don't know how they managed to surpass there previous high standards but they've managed it

It would be very difficult to find a better place to eat anywhere in the country. The food is always superb, the service is second to none and the views of the sea and the bay are truly beautiful. Add to that the great value andI don’t know why anyone would ever want to go anywhere else!

Food was exceptional, compliments to the chef. The waiter that served us had only been there for a week, but treated our family very well, especially as my son asked him a lot of questions. The only let down was how we received at the reception, with the lady insisting I could not have possibly booked online as online bookings were closed , even though I had my confirmation. In future, as the reception is the first port of call we advise that outside guests are received much better and not to be made to feel that we are going back to the 1960’s were discrimination was very prominent!

We loved our Sunday lunch at Next Door - fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend. Our only point to make is that we were the only customers - Sunday afternoon, week before Christmas. It's a little out of the way from the main high street which could explain it. Apparently it is busy in the summer. This is a great find!!! Will hopefully be back soon.
