Suamico Restaurants

This was our first time eating at Republic chophouse and we really enjoyed it. The ambience was lovely – classy, low lighting, tasteful decor, and comfortable seating. Service was great. My husband has a few allergies to work around, and they did a great job catering to that with no complaints. The food was excellent. Both steaks were done exactly how we ordered. Their made-in-house desserts were phenomenal as well. Save some appetite for those – the carrot cake is about as big as a whole cake! Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back.

If you are looking for a higher end, dining experience in Green Bay, this is it. The hotel and restaurant have a big city feel in a classy way. The brand old fashions were spectacular. Every food item was excellent from the focaccia-like bread starter with dipping oil to the cheese curds to the main entrées (grass fed filet mignon, pistachio encrusted salmon). The beer cheese soup with slices of brat was a perfect idea, just WAAAAAY too salty. Finished off our dinner with Brandy Alexander’s and grasshoppers; felt like a throwback to the supper clubs of old. And the wait staff was exceptional too. Next time I return, I’ll be sure to have a “pregame drink” at the rooftop bar on the sixth floor… Didn’t discover that until after dinner

Good meal for 11 of us, business dinner meeting - thank you

The hostess was horribly rude. We were sitting at the front, as we arrived 10 minutes early, which was before they officially opened. We just sat down on the benches, but she came and told us to wait outside and shut the one set of doors we were by and left the other set open. This was after I tried to make a reservation for 8. They only take 6 on open table, I called to try to get 8 or two tables of 4 and she told me she couldn’t do that, but in a very non-helpful tone. Luckily, we love the cheese curds so a little rudeness by one hostess didn’t ruin our visit & our waitress was kind and phenomenal at her job!

We always enjoy the food, service, and atmosphere. Having Celiacs on the family, it is also nice to come to a place that has so many Gluten free offerings.
