Discover Newport, Vermont
Newport is a gorgeous town with a natural beauty of breathtaking mountains that is home to many restaurants, cafes, wineries, and breweries.[1,2] Locals commonly enjoy the area’s seafood in dishes such as clam chowder, clam cakes, lobster, and cod at the neighborhood’s many Seafood restaurants.[3,2] This locale also happens to use cheese, milk, bacon, and vegetables that are produced in the area in many of their dishes. To try these locally sourced foods simply stop into any of the area’s Steakhouses, American, or Italian restaurants.[4,2] Craft beer and locally made wine can also be found throughout the town at the many American and Italian restaurants, breweries, and wineries.[4,2] If you wanted to have a laid back evening, you could stop into one of the many Pizzerias and try some New England style pizza. Or, you could try a dish with a little bit of a kick, like tortas at the many of the local Mexican restaurants.
