- RRoger O.Philadelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI took my wife to Bardea F&D for her 45th birthday and it was an incredible experience. From the moment we walk thru the door and was greeted we knew this place was going to be good. Once we were seated our waiter came and and introduced himself, explained the menu and took our drinks orders. The order in which the food came out was perfect and exactly how it should have been, giving us a chance to enjoy the plates as they came out. The ambience was good, the seating was good and the vibe added to the experience. The food, very creative, smart and tasty. The menu seem very well thought out. Parking was good, we got lucky and found a spot close to the restaurant but parking seem plentiful and close by. Overall a damn good experience, great service and my wife loved it. I would highly recommend Bardea F&D. Will definitely be returning to enjoy some their other unique dishes.More infoBardea Food & DrinkPrice: Moderate• Italian• Wilmington•4.7

12 of Philadelphia’s outstanding spots for celebrating special occasions
Maybe you got engaged on the steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art or just picked up the keys to your first rowhouse. It could be that your kid is (finally) toilet trained, or that your noisy neighbor moved away. Sometimes, simply surviving another Tuesday can be an occasion to celebrate over a restaurant meal. It doesn’t have to be fancy. What makes an occasion special isn’t an arbitrary date on the calendar—it’s the decision to celebrate. Luckily, Philadelphia bursts with places where the food and atmosphere lend themselves to living it up. Grab dinner and a jazz show at a swinging North Broad Street faithful. Opt for a quieter night at a critically acclaimed, plant-based gem in Midtown Village. Or splurge on a swanky steakhouse that presides over a corner of Rittenhouse Park. Whether you’re after an intimate spot for an anniversary date or a convivial atmosphere for a boisterous reunion, Philadelphia has you covered with these 12 celebration-worthy restaurants.

Discover Greenville
Located in the lush Brandywine Valley, the idyllic town of Greenville is a breath of fresh air. Take in the view from the outdoor patio of a café with fresh baked pastries for breakfast. Shrimp and grits are the usual fare for lunch, but if you're craving something more tropical, try a mahi mahi sandwich. Despite its small size, the city's dining options also offer a more urban flavor. The quaint colonial style pubs and taverns double as steakhouses with modern menu items like a sandalwood cartouche. Even the pizzeria experiments with food fusions. Start with a cheesesteak spring roll appetizer, and then make a pizza to remember with ingredients like fig jam and curried pecans.
