- AAnneLondon •21 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoA Funistrada evening is sure to be a winner every time. This small restaurant attracts summer residents for the busy season, so we wait until fall and winter to enjoy dinner there. Summer nights can be a bit loud - not because of rowdy crowds but because of happy groups enjoying themselves. Our early December dinner had all the great attributes and was a bit quieter than summer. Service was excellent, meal selections were as expected (a saltimbocca and a piccata). There’s a nice wine selection and some special cocktail offerings. Entree servings are ample, so no desserts for us. Highly recommend.More infoTrattoria FunistradaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Glen Arbor / Maple City•4.8
- NNancyTampa / Central Florida West •1 review4.0Dined on Nov 28, 2024Thanksgiving dinner was a plate dinner at Weathervane Restaurant. The salad was great, the turkey dinner was good. It is hard to replicate your Mom's turkey, dressing, and mashed potatoes you grew up with. The presentation for the pumpkin pie was in little aluminum foil "tart" pans. You had more crust and very little pumpkin pie filling. We had a wonderful table, and our server was excellent. We were not rushed, and were able to enjoy conversation with our adult kids.More infoWeathervane RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Charlevoix•4.4
- TTrevorDetroit / Eastern Michigan •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 28, 2024We went specifically for the Thanksgiving buffet and it was excellent. There was a wide variety of food from breakfast through a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings. There was an excellent carving station with roasted turkey and baked Dearborn ham. The sides included excellent stuffing and real mashed potatoes. The salad bar was outstanding in its variety and all of the selections were very good. As usual, the desserts were sumptuous, especially the Apple Streusel although it would have been nice to have some vanilla sauce to top it off. Overall the food was about as hot (warm) as you would expect from a buffet. The service was a little slow initially but after the introduction, it was excellent. We are both very Thankful to the staff who worked during their Thanksgiving day to provide such friendly service.More infoAerie Restaurant & LoungePrice: Very Expensive• American• Acme•4.3
