- BBernieNorth Wales •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe (my wife and myself), prebooked at Bryns lunchtime to break the jourmey from Cheshire to Angelsey on recommendation from our daughter. We were not dissappointed. The car park and building gave us a big clue to the standards we could expect inside. Not disappointed, the staff and layout was immpecable and we was seated with a view of the bay second to non for our 1.30pm booking. Our order was taken promptly and the drinks arrived in short time. The food was obviously what we went for and it was brilliant. Warm soda bread with lashing of buttter and then the sharing fish pie was just what we needed before restarting our journey. Overall a really nice experience, so much more than just food. Thank you.More infoBryn Williams at Porth EiriasPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Colwyn Bay•4.6
- OTOpenTable DinerLondon •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe enjoyed the Friday fish and chip special which was exceptional value at £12 per head. The fish was beautifully cooked in crispy batter. The fish and chips were piping hot. The tartare sauce was delicious, and there were tasty small accompaniments of rocket in a light dressing and mushy peas. Could'nt fault it!More infoThe Potted Lobster - AbersochPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Pwllheli•4.8
- KKathrynCheshire •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 24, 2025Well cooked food, good, friendly service. Comfortable "old-fashioned" pub. Chose to eat in the bar this time, but there is also a very nice dining room. Menu is "pub" food rather than fine dining. Lunch menu a bit limited and only a small number of lighter options available.More infoRoyal Oak - Kinnerton LanePrice: Moderate• Pub• Chester•3.8
- AAndrewYorkshire •1 review4.0Dined on Nov 29, 2024We planned a weekend break in Dolgellau and Y Sospan was booked two weeks before the trip. We last ate there in September 2023 so being keen to visit again is a strong recommendation. We both wanted the lamb shank and it was outstanding in quality and quantity. It's a really interesting building, the service was excellent, the whole experience just what we hoped for. We did, in fact, return for lunch, without booking, on Saturday as we were keen to give the Cafe Menu a try. It'll be on our wish list anytime we are in North Wales and want a decent meal.More infoY Sospan, Queen's Square, Dolgellau, UKPrice: Moderate• Bistro• Dolgellau•4.3
