Great choice of three spicy and tasty vegetarian dishes, naan, papadum and rice with vegetables and pickles. The service was friendly, personal and fast. Away from the usual seaside type of eateries. Hidden spot we go to here from east London. Food always fresh, locally sourced. Sunday roasts are a treat and one for the classic quiet ambience of the former bowling green clubhouse. Akin to what one expects from independent gastro pubs or bistros in Islington and Greenwich. Except prices are reasonable, the decor is definitely unique and you can go to the beach and amusements after. Brilliant food and great cocktails. Staff were very friendly. Worth the short walk to get away from the touristy crowds.
