An enjoyable evening dinner. Arrived early for the booking but managed to be seated straight away.

Easy online booking, friendly service & food was great! We had four small plates between two & both enjoyed everything. Would return & recommend

Bucks bar has always been a favourite of mine. The atmosphere is amazing, and the food and service by the staff are always top-notch. I can't fault anything about them. You get large portions, and it's pretty good value for money. I always go for the chicken and waffles and a hard shake. You can't go wrong.

The food was excellent. Simple Italian done well. However there were significant issues with the service. Our mains were presented to us whilst still eating our starters. We weren’t at all slow so there was no apparent reason. We sent away the first server and then a couple of minutes later another appeared with the plates again! They did not appreciate that what they were doing was wrong. It was a busy Saturday and maybe the serving staff were not fully experienced, certainly their reaction, or lack of understanding, might suggest this. However, I suspect the real issue was in the kitchen as the waiting staff would just deliver whatever was brought to the pass. I don’t know but it really took the shine off a family meal that was celebrating my significant birthday.
