Braemar Restaurants

Excellent meal in a wonderful restaurant in Inverness. Ate here with family on Saturday night and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The menu choices allowed us all to select different dishes and every one was a winner. The staff were friendly, attentive and very professional. We will definitely visit again on future visits to Inverness.

Lovely restaurant in Ballater with high quality food and great staff. The menu is all based on Scottish produce locally sourced and the providence is explained on the menu. Very reasonably priced and probably the only “evening restaurant” in Ballater. We always have dinner there when we’re in Ballater and never have been disappointed. We had the Cullen skink and haggis Bon bins for starters and the chicken supreme and ox cheek for mains - everything as usual was well presented and tasted great. No room for dessert…..as usual! Very well made cocktails 😜 At busy times they open the front area of the restaurant which is called “Angus & Ale”. It wasn’t clear when we booked through OpenTable we had been booked into here and it turned out we were the only booking in there. Luckily they had a staff were very accommodating and found us a table in the main restaurant area. It wasn’t their fault it just wasn’t clear on OpenTable.

We always love coming to Maggie's, service is always great and the staff are attentive and nothing is too much trouble. My little girl didn't finish her burger as she wasn't feeling well and the manager came over and asked if everything was okay! Instead of an adult burger price, they put her down as a child portion which they didn't have to do. Always impressed by this place!!

Food was delicious and warm. The staff were always on hand and very happy. The mains were out so quick, was very surprised but the desserts did take over 20mins to come. Overall I would absolutely eat here again if I’m back in Aviemore

Good food. Friendly and attentive waiters. Very accommodating chef (he modified a dish for us).
