Excellent meal, friendly staff and great atmosphere as always. Highly recommend!

This was our first time at Cafe 1 after receiving a gift voucher for Christmas. What we really enjoyed was not being rushed by the staff during our meal which was freshly prepared and soo tasty! We will definitely be going back again for the great food, lovely ambiance and great choice of NA drinks for me as the driver.

The fiddler was outstanding. The steak and ale pie was exactly what I expected for trying this dish for the first time.

Second time we went this week. First time was excellent. This time not quite to the same standard. There were five of us and we were given a table designed for four. Three meals arrived several minutes before the other two meals. Food was nice but seemed like it wasn't as fresh as previous time. Took a while to get the bill. We had a nice meal just not as good as previous visit.

Super attentive staff who recognised the Birthday girl and responded accordingly (we hadn’t informed them!). Many thanks to all the staff!
