Brilliant fresh local food. Fantastic staff and service. Mark up on the champagne was a tad expensive, but did not detract from a superb evening.

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience which was a Birthday celebration treat for a very dear friend, this was the first time she had been and was very impressed. The service was spot on, attentive but not too invasive, perfect. The food as always was beautiful and tasty. We never felt rushed. The Autumn cocktail was especially delicious.

Fantastic, personalized service. Food was seasonal, thoughtful and most importantly delicious. Pub rooms were smartly decorated and cosy making it a great space to while away an afternoon. Prices above average but justified by the quality of the food and service.

Lovely little restaurant in the heart of Southwold. Food was excellent, mainly seafood, but with a twist - monkfish Wellington was great. Friendly and helpful service and a cosy atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and probably the best eatery in Southwold.

If you like meat you'll love Estabulo. Service is lovely and friendly, straight into the food soon as you get your table - the salad range is fresh and varied, too be honest you could easily eat well just from that. But then you get a continuous stream of delicious cuts of beef, pork and chicken offered to your table. My wife found the steak a little rare for her taste, but I think you can request more well done if you like it simply request cuts from the outside as they carve. Can't fault it, especially if you find an offer as they ran across September which makes it more affordable. Unless you're hungry it would be difficult for me to justify a regular meal out for the family on an evening over the weekend when meal would be around £50 each adult before drinks (factoring in the 10% service charge) but if you can afford it, can't recommend highly enough.
